"Loved this place bc it is away from the crowded section of San Marco, but it is still on the Grand Canal as begins to go around Venice. "We had a wonderful stay in Venice at the Carnival Palace Hotel. Fantastic views of the canal in a very quiet location in the city. Lots of local restaurants and cafes nearby plus three water taxi stops. Marco was very helpful with checkin, anniversary extras, plus restaurant recommendations and reservations. Our room was super clean with daily service. Breakfast was a good mixture of savory and sweet. When we return to Venice, we will stay at the Carnival Palace again."
