Cabin was so close to Avery Island and Jefferson Island, the places we wanted to visit. Weather was perfect the entire time we were there. Explored small towns around us and went into New Iberia as well. One suggestion would be to have recliners or ottomans for us seniors! Loved it overall!"

"Perfect location, perfect property. Good communication with the host and catered to our arrival schedule. Thank you! ~~ The house was placed with the Bayou in the backyard and the downtown area right outside the front door. It had perfect access to all the downtown shops and dining spots. I absolutely loved the chateau and the city! The house was well accommodating with many different items in case you forgot to pack some. We want to come back again one day for a longer stay.!"

The only down side was that downtown Lafayette can be loud at night. If you plan on going to bed early this may not be the spot for you.
