The location was excellent! The rooms were tired and need to be revamped. The Bathroom was full of flying bugs and the shower definitely needs to be improved and cleaned much better. The Main door to the villa was not safe and very flimsy. Not much space for a couple and their 13 year son to put clothes out for easy access. We enjoyed our stay but the Hotel could improove a little to make it much much better.

For us this property was perfect. It’s a short taxi boat ride from tonsai pier which will run you 100 baht. Beautiful beach which was great for snorkeling. Easy to get on a tour if you’d like or do a hike into the main town. Great staff, very friendly. The beds are a bit hard and the bathroom shower did get water all over the floor but this hotel was worth the money for us. The location and beauty is phenomenal. Located in the middle of paradise. Huge free breakfast with so many options. Nothing better than waking up and having the view of the phi phi islands that this resort has to offer. Highly recommend!

Worth it for the beach access?
I'm not the type to complain to a hotel or leave a review but in this case I had to. You can't beat the location, right on the beach, but I wish I had considered other accommodation options. For the price, I expected more. When we arrived we were informed that our room had been upgraded to a suite only to find that the double bed we required was simply two uneven and hard twin beds pushed together. When we complained about this they simply added an additional comforter for padding. Additionally, there was a large puddle in front of the bathroom sink when the receptionist showed us to our room. When I brought it to her attention, she simply suggested that the sink was leaking (obviously!) and left us there with a partially flooded bathroom. The least she could have done is sent someone to clean it up. A bit of comic relief was when a large monkey snuck into our room through the open balcony door. My own fault but once the monkey finally left we got a good laugh out of how ridiculous our situation was. This all aside we enjoyed our stay because of the proximity to the beach but I will not be staying here when I return.

Terrible hotel
I arrived to a broken pool,safe and no power in room. The manager said alot of promises and none were kept not even a cup of rice to make up for all the problems. Screaming kids next door and staff overwhelmed at dinner. There was 1 waiter for 20 tables on Valentines day. Many guests upset and right to be. I ate next door at paradise resort. Staff so friendly there. THe staff at long beach resort made no effort to book any ferrys or even assist other to say its on internet. The wifi was so slow i could not even get a email out. I booked that at paradise also. The pool is ancient and dirty. They have good view but I saw so many unwashed dishes laying around. The breakfast chef had a long line because he only had one tiny skillet size of desert plate. Just terrible experience there all around. Worst hotel in phi phi dont go there go next door. They dont clean your room either when your staying there.

Beautiful Island, below average accommodation
Long Beach on Phi Phi is stunning, a real tropical paradise. The location of the hotel is excellent however during our stay there were several issues. 1. Boat transfer promised via email but didn’t happen. 2. Beds are very uncomfortable 3. Breakfast staff were rude (refused to let me have a banana of all things!) 4. Bed was made but sheets weren’t changed on several occasions 5. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned daily 6. General wear and tear, however for the price the rooms should be of a higher standard. 7. Water in taps and toilet a yellow color on last day of stay. 8. Black mold on chair. 9. New towels did not smell fresh... basically avoid this place there are far nicer options on long beach.

Unfortunately we had an all round poor experience at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort & Villa in December 2017. Foremost grievance was that the hotel doesn't say only cold water is available in the room. On arrival our room also had a blocked toilet + there was a 5 hour period (unrelated to blocked toilet) when no water was available at the hotel. Disappointed given the high $'s we spent.

Best Beach in the World.
20 seconds from the best beach in the world, it doesn't get better than that. The staff work so hard to make sure everything is effortless for you. We loved every minute and were heart broken to leave. Can't wait to return again and hope we get the chance.

Off the beaten path

Great, quiet spot
Great location. I loved this end of the beach. The rooms left a little to be desired in the quality of building: the bathroom door could not close all the way because it wasn't hung properly, the door to the room had gaps big enough to let bugs in. The pool was clean and nice. Breakfast was great. The restaurant and bar were overpriced.

A bit disappointing.
The staff was polite and the location is on a beautiful beach away from all the noise of Tonsai. The walk to Tonsai was quite enjoyable. The rooms are the problem. During check-in there is someone to help take your luggage up the steep hill and climb the path to the steep stairs up to the room. When checking out, you're on your own. It's quite the climb. It was hard and we ended up sweating our way down to check out. The decor was simple and clean which I loved but the walls were painted neon green. It was terrible and gives a cheap feel unecessarily. The hotel grounds have extremely poor wifi. I don't know if that is standard in the island. I didn't mind but it's good to know. The room itself was cleaned nicely but the bathroom drain had such a strong raw sewage odor coming up. It was nauseating and at times reminded me of a portable toilet on a construction site. They sent someone to "spray". We felt that wasn't enough and wanted to switch but they asked us to wait a few hours to see if anyone else checked out. We didn't want to waste the morning not knowing if we would be able to change rooms so we kept the room and had to air it out regularly. The beds were terribly hard, like sleeping on concrete. I've never experienced such a hard mattress. We actually had back and neck pain by the third night and were ready to go.

The makings of a great place to stay
Stayed 4 bites, great spot on long beach, with clean rooms and hard bed. The staff running the resort do not have a lot of experience in running a hotel or catering for guests. They don't serve cocktails at all, most of the villa's and Superior rooms were empty yet they still were charging $250+ Aud on trip advisor, breakfasts minimal, if on paleo food same things everyday. Upside great beach location and day beds, book the bungalows instead of villas, will go back.

Very average!
Very poor wifi! Everything was very average! Customer service poor, restaurant quality is marginal! Getting here was a big hassle especially if you have luggage. On pier, they the long tail taxi people do not listen to where you want to go. We were dropped on the other end of long beach. We called this hotel to arrange for a transfer but they refused. Will not recommend coming here.

Perfect spot on the beach.
Neat hotel on a perfect spot on long beach, easy to get a long boat into town (can walk but the track is very rough). Service at the restaurant when we had lunch was pretty average food was great though, so we ate at nearly places, the bar next door at The Beach was our favorite spot. Breakfast was OK. The location was quiet, so great for us as we wanted peace & to relax.

Our stay here was lovely. The staff was nice and the view was great. The language barrier made it difficult in trying to get meals made vegan due to food allergies, but otherwise, no complaints.

Pleasant stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort &Villa
We stayed at the resort for 9 days. It wasn't my first choice bu presently surprised at the facilities. The rooms were clean with the normal amenities you'd expect. Staff were very helpful although communications was somewhat difficult at times because of the language barrier. Staff were quick to get someone with better English to attend. The food was good and reasonably priced so we ate there most days. The only negotiate comments I have are about the power and Internet. Power was off from 6-7am and from 4-5pm. By the end of our trip it was going off from 1-3pm as well and I'm not sure why. This was thoroughly annoying particularly when it's hot, no aircon or TV but you found something else to do. Internet was slow but functional. Al in all, a pleasant stay Punctuated by frustration over power outages and Internet issues.

Abseiling required
This is really difficult to review as I know that the time of year we went (August) is not the best time and I can imagine it being absolutely beautiful and easy to access during the high season. Let me start from the beginning. We got off the ferry at the pier and found lots of people from other hotels on the pier ready to meet guests. (Ours wasn't) We asked for a taxi to the hotel and was told you can only get a water taxi but on the day we got there the waves were fairly high (we didn't think they were but again we took advice of the locals) the water taxi man said he could drop us off near the hotel and we could walk the remaining 5 minutes up a little hill and back down the other side. We agreed and set off. The hill was fairly big when we got there but what we found after that was absolutely incredible. "The path" down to the beach (the only access) is down the most dangerous "path" ever. You literally have to abseil down (it's really dangerous and pitch black) Be aware of this if the taxi boat can't take you directly to the hotel! If it can then great. The hotel itself is nice enough and the rooms are good. If you want to have a quiet place to relax this is the place as there is very little around (a few other hotels). We trekked the half an hour walk through the jungle to get to the main area. Sorry for the long review but thought people should know.

Too Expensive!
Stayed 4 Nights in November 2022. The Accomodation Was dissapointing and Way too expensive compared to What you get. We payed 118 Us dollar for 2 adults and a child 1,5 year Per Night. The place should have cost the half. The place is dirty and toilet facilitets discusting. Breakfeast a bit borring and you could not buy anything to eat or drink. Perfect location Right on the Beach and a Big tree to provide shaddow which is the only positive thing to mention.

El personal es muy grosero, nada atentos, no te atienden hasta acabarse su cigarrillo, rentan los camastros a otras personas externas al hotel y al querer utilizar uno como huésped del hotel no hay disponibles y la comida del del desayuno súper mala. La ubicación está muy bonita.

Resort på stranden
Perfekt läge på stranden tyvärr förtog allt oväsen från båtarna en del. Ca 2 km att gå in till stan med alla restauranger. Stenhårda sängar och oväsen från ac. Bra frukost och bra med solstolar vid strand o pool.

青い海と居心地のいい部屋
ホテルの目の前には、真っ青な海が広がり日々表情に変化が現れる。ビーチ沿いの散歩が日々の日課であった。スタッフはフレンドリーで、私たちがお願いした要望に応えようと努力してくれる。ロケーションはロングビーチのため、往路はトンサイベイから自分自身でボートで向かう必要があるが（私の乗ったときは２人で３００バーツ）復路は、ホテルの決めたスケジュールなら無料でトンサイベイまでボートを出してもらえる。一日に３便ある。このホテルのレストランのみならず、他のホテルのレストランを合わせると、ロングビーチに計５～６軒のレストランがあり、また小さなバーも営業していて、それなりにおいしい食事をとることができる。おすすめのホテルだ。

Hôtel très agréable
Séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel en février 2018. Chambres très spacieuses, très propres et très confortables. Personnel agréable et disponible pour sa clientèle. Petit déjeuner en buffet copieux. Service de taxis boat gratuit pour les transferts entre le port de Tonsaï et l’hôtel à l’arrivée et au départ.

Traumhafter Strand, geschmackvolle Zimmer
Direkt am wunderschönen long beach gelegen, traumhafter Strand allerdings einwenig ausserhalb des Zentrums. Die Zimmer (die neueren) sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, wir hatten eines mit privatpool auf der Terrasse... Es gibt nichts schöneres als dort den Abend ausklingen zu lassen.. Das Wasser im Pool wurde täglich gewechselt..Die Zimmer wurden ebenfalls täglich gereinigt. Wifi hat super und überall funktioniert... Punktabzuge gabs für: - nicht so gutes Frühstück, nachfüllen des Buffets hat manchmal etwas gedauert, jeden Tag das selbe essen... Es war nicht grauenhaft, man wurde satt, aber für den Preis haben wir mehr erwartet - Einige Monturen im Bad waren etwas wackelig. Auch hier keine grosse Sache, aber bei einem Hotel der höheren Preisklasse nicht angemessen - Die Hotelmangerin (oder soetwas in der Art, ich weiß nicht genau wer die Frau war ) lief ständig auf dem Gelände rum und kontrollierte die Mitarbeiter. In ihrer Anwesenheit fühlten sich nicht nur die Mitarbeiter gestresst sondern auch ich als Gast, da ihr Gesichtsausdruck schlechte Laune verbreitete... - Entfernung zum Stadtzemtrum der Insel. Nur durch den Dschungel oder mit dem taxi boot zu erreichen, welches etwas teuer wird. Um das Hotel herum gibts leider nur uberteuerte Resorts restaurants und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Aber das ist wohl der Preis den man zahlt um am Long beach zu wohnen ;)

Nedgånget och smutsigt!
Blev väldigt besvikna, fanns mögel i badrummet och det var lappat och lagat lite halvdant överallt. Fanns mycket gammal smuts längst kanter och hörn. Väldigt dyrt och dåligt utbud på restaurangen och frukosten. Rekommenderar inte detta!

2 note negative, la pulizia della stanza veniva fatta in orari a caso per cui e capitato 3 volte su sei nel primo pomeriggio quando eravamo in stanza a riosare per cui e saltata. Secondo long bech e un continuo via vai di speed boat rendendo impossibile ascoltare il rumoe del mare, puzza di benzina e rombi di motore tutto il giorno

como todo tailandia, olor horrible en el baño.
el recibimiento muy bueno, a penas llegas te dan un zumo super fresco, te llevan el equipaje a la habitacion y te ponen muy buena cara para todo. como en casi toda tailandia, el olor a podrido en el baño de la habitación es lamentable, hubo días que el agua salia marron. la habitacion era grande, luminosa y muy bonita, teniamos un balcón que nos dejaba ver un poco el mar y la piscina del hotel. El desayuno estaba muy bien y la playa muy bonita, el lugar en si es muy tranquilo, lo unico el ruido de los long tails esta todo el día presente, pero bueno, es Phi phi, una de las islas mas visitada debido a que tiene a 20 minutos la playa de la película de dicaprio. Si van por ahi, al lado del hotel están los longtail para hacer las excursiones, buscar a GIN, a nosotros nos llevo a recorrer lugares increíbles, lo contratamos 8 hs y nos regalo dos mas, un tio estupendo.

Since the hotel is located at long beach it's less crowded. You still can go to the city with a longtail boat. Reception was really friendly and helped us a lot. The beach was amazing and they even provides deck chairs for the guests.

Dejligt hotel - value for money - snorkling
Vi ankom 2 timer for tidligt men blev uden problemer checket ind med det samme. Vi gik derud fra havnen - det var en lang varm tur på ca 30min - en longboat koster mellem 100 og 150bath pr Pers og fungerer super. Stranden er fantastisk med Hvidt sand og koraler - super til snorkling der er masser af fisk i havet og lidt længere ude i vandet så vi små hajer Vi spiste inde i byen - elendig service og elendig dyr mad på restauranterne inde ved havnen
