"Pros and Cons... We had high hopes for The Lodge. It presents itself very well online but doesn't quite live up to its advertising. One of the issues we had with the property is the lack of accurate signage. Due to flight delays, we arrived late in the evening, and it was hard to find the "lobby." It doesn't face the street and no lighted sign indicates where it is. Rather, it's at the back of the property and isn't a traditional lobby. You actually check in at the cafe/bar. "We loved our stay at the Inn at Sonoma. It is a small friendly hotel in downtown Sonoma. A very good breakfast every morning as well as a a wine and snacks hour at 5. The rooms are not new but are very comfortable. Sandeep, one of the staff helped us find a driver and plan our winery itinerary. We would definitely return and stay at the Inn at Sonoma."

"My husband and I booked a weekend here and it was for the most part lovely. We especially loved the beautiful gardens, common areas, especially the massive, yet cozy front porch. It is an old house and our bathrooms reflected this--especially struggled with the clingy, stiff-plastic curtain around the cast iron tub for showering. "Comfortable and inviting courtyard. Relaxing. Good effort at happy hour gathering in reception area for free glass of wine, snacks, plus at breakfast. Only concern was felt like walking around on the classic wood floors was noisy. Made me feel line it could disturb the peace of others in their rooms. Goes with the territory though. Definitely a nice stay. "

"The location couldn't be better for this little B and B two blocks off the main square on a quiet stretch of North St. The staff are great and for an old house there's surprisingly little noise through the walls. The daily wine pours were most welcome. But it is an old house, full of creaks and ready for some refurbishing."

"What an amazing trip and stay at the Ruse. From the minute we booked the Stay and Play, Christine at the front desk, was so helpful to answer questions and make our trip spectacular. I cannot say enough about the property and the breakfasts! The 18 hole putting green was so fun. Beds were very comfortable, the golf at the Mayacama was outstanding.
