Description

Examine the splendour of one of the world’s most famous pieces of art, Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece The Last Supper. Explore the streets of Milan on foot with an experienced guide, and take a peek inside the spire-studded Milan Cathedral and the 18th-century La Scala theatre.

Join your guide at the Milan Visitor Center and kick off your day with a look at the mediaeval features of the Sforza Castle. Pop into the Milan Cathedral nearby to admire its myriad of spires and Gothic features, do some window shopping in the glass-vaulted arcade of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and imagine opera singers like Pavarotti filling the rafters with their voices on a detour to La Scala theatre.

Cap off your day with skip-the-line entrance to the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where you can spend some time taking in the exquisite detail of da Vinci's The Last Supper. Painted on the wall of the convent's refectory, this iconic masterpiece still draws thousands of visitors every day.

We booked an English tour, but 80% of the time was spent translating to Spanish for the Spanish speaking 8 people that were on the tour. We would not have booked a tour that took twice as long due to translations. When we booked the trip it was called private and English, it was neither. The tour guide was very nice, it just wasn’t what we feel like we booked and paid for.

The hook is the Last Supper. Without being able to see Da Vinci's great achievement,, the tour would be a waste of time. Anyone can see the Duomo or la Scala. however, my wife and i endured both so we could see The Last Supper. The Guide was a walking, talking resource. The Bus was hot and uncomfortable. The tour is perhaps 30+ people. Unless you can also see The Last Supper, the tour is not worth the cost.

Tour it self is great, but our guide Samantha was the worst, she made us wait 30min inside the bus (no AC) for a passenger, then as we arrived at Last Supper Church wait another 30min for another passengers .... Once at the church, she run to the last supper entrance, without letting us observe the church itself (because we wasted time waiting), we missed the visit of the church for no reason.... Inside the last supper area (which is most wonderful) the tour guide dedicated to pass us to her "agenda" explaining how Saint John must have been gay as it looked like a women in the painting, all this because in the time painting was done artist used to show young people with long hair... At the end ruining the visit with out of place comments... similar out of place comments were made at DUOMO church.... Tour itself is beautiful, SCALA visit was too short, but very nice, if you are lucky and have a different tour guide, tour is worthwhile.....
