After you're picked up from your hotel, take a relaxing drive across the northern end of Rhodes to the Valley of the Butterflies, one of the island's most attractive destinations. This marvellous ecological setting features winding rock pathways that make it easy to observe its many shimmering lakes, rustic bridges, and lush foliage. Get up-close looks a thousands of butterflies displaying their colourful wing patterns—a few might even land on your shoulder if you stand still enough.
