Ups and downs
The rooms looked newly renovated, and each wing has a theme which does make it easier to navigate. Checkin was super easy, and they offer a texting based service to check how you think the room is. I liked that a lot. (They did verify they could text first). So, I understand they are under new management and "experiencing growing pains" and it was a holiday, but the food services were a mixed bag. Food at the bar was amazing. Wings and sliders are amazing and their version of French fries (cottage fries?) were outstanding. But breakfast the next morning took forever and was wrong, but when you waited an hour for over easy eggs, you don't really feel like sending your over hard eggs back it, because God knows when you'll get anything else. So I think they're moving in the right direction and will be really good soon. Just ironing out some details.
