Das Hotel und das Restaurant mit waren sehr gut. Die Cabins jedoch sehr einfach ausgestattet, das war enttäuschend! Kein Kühlschrank, keine Mikrowelle!

The location was perfect, but it was really dirty like nobody cleaned the room. The beds were narrow, loud and extremely soft.

Also - soviel Auswahl im Yellowstone Park gibt es nicht und dieses Hotel ist ja historisch und schön. Ich würde mich aber wünschen, dass man irgendwann eine Modernisierung durchführt: es gab kein Internet und keinen Kühlschrank. Die Klimaanlage sprang nach jedem (kurzem) Stromausfall standardmäßig auf 90 F = 32 C. Man ist das Problem bewusst aber kann „nichts dagegen tun“.

By far the worst experience in Yellowstone! You all have to see it in a price-performance ratio or a price-value ratio: for USD 400 you think of a nice room and a good serviced and well maintained room. What we experienced was unacceptable and way to much 💸 for what you get. See the pictures on my google rating attached: - Hairs all over the bath and on the linen - dirt everywhere, literally everywhere! - not maintained building construction - dirty linen bags outside by the main entrance - dead bugs everywhere - sugar on the desk - Lamps & Vent not cleaned for years - overall cracks and broken building parts - the coffeemaker spitted out brown water instead of coffee - was disgusting Overall disappointing experience! The staff at the reception were OK and did what they could / are trained for. No bad feelings regarding them. Btw: no wifi or cellphone signal.

Neben Zimmer 147 war ein Elektrogenerator der 24/7 gebrummt hat😱. Gut schlafen und/oder sein war unmöglich. Nach 4 Nächten war ich „durch“. Und das für CHF 485.- pro Nacht ohne Frühstück und Zimmerreinigung😱NIE MEHR!

Expensive nightly rate $450 per night. The property doesn't have Internet. Extremely noisy neighbor upstairs. Minimal dining options. Will not stay here again. One redeeming value is the location.

The area we were put in was very poor. They had the cleaning closet wide open in our hall. It had bags of trash just thrown in it with all the towels and linens! The bar service was poor and the restaurant where we had an evening meal was very expensive and not great at all.

No housekeeping. No fridge or microwave in room. Moldy shower curtain. We had to remove our trash every day and get our own towels at the front desk. The only dinner dining option (dining room - by reservation only) was unavailable until 10:45pm each day. Very inconvenient if you are trying to go to sleep early so you can get up early to beat the crowds to explore the park, meet a guide or hike. The only places to eat at/near this hotel are: 1) Deli open 6:30-2pm - coffee and limited prepackaged sandwiches and pastries. 2) Dining Room- Open for breakfast buffet then closes until dinner for which you need a reservation. (earliest available reservation for our five night stay was 10:45pm) 3) Lobby Bar - opened at 4pm but no bar menu except A) French Fries B) Oysters (?) 3) Yellowstone Lodge - nearby but limited fast food only. Hamburgers, hotdogs and fries. 4) Off Property Convenience Store - nearby, but very limited prepackaged options. (Think a poorly stocked 7-Eleven with a gift shop). Staying here is convenient to the park, but you truly are in a complete food desert. At nearly $400/night I would at least expect a mini fridge and a microwave so we could at least have fended for ourselves.

Sfortunatamente, dato che abbiamo pianificato il viaggio con poco anticipo non avevamo scelta perché non c'erano altre soluzioni di pernottamento disponibili. L'esperienza però è stata pessima, la stanza era sporca e non era disponibile né la televisione né internet (né wifi ne 4g)..

Our room had no soap, 1/2 a roll of toilet paper on the spool with no extra roll, only 2 towels and cobwebs in the ceiling. It looked like the room had not been used in a while. For the prices that were charged, I think it is reasonable to expect at least 1 bar of soap or some liquid soap and at least 1 roll of toilet paper.

We stayed in the cabins since the hotel was fully booked. The cable was just ok. It was clean and cute and i knew going in what we would and would not have. Its just beds, a bathroom and a coffee maker. Very few options for food. The restaurant is very nice but you need reservations which we did not know and they book up months in advance. Luckily we stopped by as they were opening for dinner and was able to get in but it had to be at that moment, nothing was available until 9:30. There is another place down the road but very few options and nothing if you have dietary restrictions. For these reasons these cabins should have a small refrigerator and microwave so you can at least travel with some food. I heard this was a problem so i actually came prepared with some dry food and we ate alot of peanut butter sandwiches, crackers and fruit for the 3 nights we were there. Location was great!

We arrived late after dark. The cabins were difficult to find from the hotel. There were no lights on to locate the cabin. Reservations are required for dinner, so they could not seat us until 10:00 PM. Hence, we ate our own sandwiches in our room.

A beautiful old hotel set on Yellowstone Lake. Check in was slow and the gentleman wasn’t helpful. Dinner was very nice and the waitstaff were great. Considering the price I would have expected a cleaner hotel. The lounge area had dead bugs and other dirt under the chairs. Our shower curtain was very molding, it was reported to the front desk who didn’t seem interested in fixing anything until I showed a picture. No apology from the staff at all.

The rooms we were assigned were not in the hotel but in the "lodge" a detail that was not well explained. Further the room which was to have 2 queen beds in fact had only one and was much smaller than advertised. This is a really poor manner in which to conduct business. Honesty would be helpful. I will never again any hotel room through Expedia. I can only hope that the hotel itself was not involved in this deceit.

Unable to make reservation direct, desk clerk (?) quoted 3 prices, both higher than Orbitz. Slow checkin, 1st cabin was occupied !!! Expensive and way off the the value . Clean was a positive... Broken uneven steps into cabin caused a fall. ould never recommend - poorly managed

Hugely Disappointing for the Money
The location of this hotel is ideal if you want to visit the park. However, it is far to big to cater for its customers and is quite impersonal and cold. If you have not pre booked your evening meal well in advance there is nowhere that is reasonable to eat within an hours drive. The room was hugely expensive for what it was and to say that there was no TV or fridge. In our opinion it was far from value for money. If you plan to stay in yellowstone for a few days I would recommend getting a lodge with cooking facilities.

It became clear that this is in a nature reserve because we had a fox, cow elk and a bison walk through the property. The US GOVERNMENT has passes legislation to provide first class internet to rural areas, yet this property has only SLOW wired Internet. This is totally unacceptable as wireless Internet does not degrade the hotel's experience in any way. Please, please, please install wireless Internet at this facility.

A beautiful venue with full service hospitality. The dining room is excellent but only had breakfast. Did 2 tours out of the hotel making it easy to enjoy someone else driving (a 1920’s refurbished tourist bus) . Did the sis et tour and early morning photo tour. Both very professional.

I liked the historical building and view of the lake. Staff was also friendly. However I could hear every little sound coming from the surrounding rooms which kept me awake most of the night. At this price point the room should have outlets and usb ports. Also, the rooms really should have Wi-Fi. Overall, nice, just not worth the price
