Motel hat vor 2 Monaten den Besitzer gewechselt und der jetzige renoviert gerade alles nach und nach. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Großer und heller Frühstücksraum, sehr nett und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war durchaus ausreichend und es wir mit richtigem Geschirr angeboten und Marmelade, Nutella, Honig etc wird nicht in Einzelpackungen, sondern aus dem Glas angeboten. Die Zimmer selber gehen gerade so von der Größe, sind ebenfalls liebevoll eingerichtet, wenn auch die Einrichtung selber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Badezimmer sah relativ neu aus und war sehr sauber. Wir würden hier jeder Zeit wieder übernachten.

Nette Eigentümer, Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Waffeln, gute Betten, sauber. Einrichtung wirkt nicht mehr zeitgemäss, Zimmer sind recht hellhörig und die Lage ist an einer kleineren, aber recht viel befahrenen Strasse.

Sehr nettes kleines Hotel günstig gelegen. Zimmer bietet alles was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend.

Einfache ländliche Unterkunft
Die Anlage im Stil eines Motels ist übersichtlich. Das Zimmer war zwar durchaus sauber, roch aber unangenehm sauer. Dies änderte sich auch nicht durch das Öffnen des Fensters. Parkmöglichkeiten gab es ausreichend. Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstück war einfach und durchschnittlich.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review . After reading your review I tried to find a sour smell in your room . I couldn`t find it . I think our breakfast is better then most hotels ,waffles , pancakes , eggs 4 types of fresh fruit ,yogert white and wheat toast bagels cinnamon bread , 3 types of cereal plus fruit juices .we have great coffee . Sorry you thought it was average . Hope you give us another try .Ron

The place is incredibly overpriced. It’s run down: the shower cabin floor is cracked, the floor in the room is sticky, there was a spider web in the door. We have not seen a member of the staff throughout the whole stay. The breakfast was mediocre, at best

The outside of the hotel is a little outdated in some respects, but our room was and nice clean and the front desk area and breakfast room were very comfortable and inviting. Our check in was quick and efficient, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Plus there is a stream with a waterfall that runs right beside the hotel property, and the Berkshires area in general is very picturesque. We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you are in the area.

The manager was available whenever we needed him- very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room and dining area had everything we needed and if not, he would get it for us. Breakfast had good options- cereals, oatmeal, waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, etc. The pool was nice, too cold for swimming the weekend we were there. The room (2 beds) is small and a little dated, but had what we needed. Would stay again.

Found this little gem when everything else in the area was sold out and was very pleased. It saved my butt in the middle of the night and turned out to be a great place that was clean, well maintained with very friendly and helpful staff.

Great country property in a wooded setting. Away from it all, but drivable to most places. Lenox about 40 minutes away. Great staff, very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Really concerned that you’re happy. Felt like a family run motel rather than corporate. Not fancy, could definitely use some upgrades, but cute.

Property was a little run down, but clean. The small refrigerator didn't function well, but bed was comfortable and linens were good quality. Continental breakfast was fine - nothing unusual, but a good number of choices. Only saw the innkeeper once to check in. Otherwise, saw no staff or guests during our stay. We were a bit disappointed that the pool was closed for the season.

This was a last minute booking- so was nice that I got a room they were booked almost completely up. the pool was very nice. Breakfast was above what is now the standard as far as selection and breakfast area was very quaint. the innkeeper was great and personable-

Owner/manager greeted us briefly upon our arrival, indicated he needed to deal with a medical issue and left. He did take us to our room first. Room was musty, bathroom in poor condition and fridge had awful smell. Went to pool area which had chemical containers scattered around the pool itself was filthy and furniture was dirty as well. Pictures on website did not represent the deplorable conditions we saw. I received a call from home and had an emergency which forced us to leave. Even without emergency, we would have not stayed there.

The hotel was clean and quiet, the owners were nice, and the complimentary breakfast was good. The bed was also very comfortable. The room itself was rather small and dark, but it was perfectly fine for one night, and we would stay there again.

Th rooms are scrubbed clean every time. Plus, unlike most hotels we wash the comforters after EVERY stay.

The location for this property is ideal if you are looking for a place to stay along the Mohawk trail. The rooms were clean, but needed to be updated. The property was not well taken care of, lots of clutter/junk laying around, things in disrepair. The cost of the room was high for the quality of the rooms and the limited amenities.

Older motel with smaller bathroom. Noisy air conditioner and dehumidifier made sleeping difficult. Bed was comfortable, but bedding and decor could use an update. Three miles down the road from Williamstown, so nothing within walking distance.

The rooms and facility were clean. The host was very nice. However when we were leaving my husband pointed out the electrical on the back of the building it didn't look up to code. I think it needs to be addressed. I will not be staying here again. The bed was not comfortable either.

Those are not electrical wires. They are cable and internet wires. There is no code for them as they are not electrical. If you're bed was uncomfortable you should have asked your very nice host for another room.

Perfectly fine
We were first given the option of a room downstairs but it smelled a little mildewy and were allowed to move upstairs. While this meant a change in the types of bed we had, we didn't care. The room was otherwise clean, had a mini-fridge for us and was very close to Williamstown Theatre Festival which was important.

Whole property in bad shape. Management was sketchy. Tried to put me in a room that was extremely dark and creepy. Felt like property had been opened after closure for long long time but not refurbished or cleaned well. Potential there but not there at this point.

Friendly couple, but no daily room cleanings, no shampoo, no towel service, no staff, the grounds are not maintained at all, weeds, peeling paint, dirty pool. Schitts Creek, no really!

Why didn't you ask for service? You were given a card and asked to call if you needed anything. The grounds are maintained. We are surrounded by woods. There are going to be some weeds, sorry. The pool is crystal clear. The buildings were painted very recently. But you got to use a pun to insult a family run business that suffered greatly because of the Covid lockdowns. You are a piece of Schitt.
