Charming stone house, tastefully appointed with unique amenities. Close to EVERYTHING and has off-street parking! If you’re bringing a pet, they’ll appreciate the fully fenced backyard and beautiful neighborhood walks!

The perfect spot from which to explore Washington, D.C., just a 15 minute drive away from this quiet neighborhood street. The Potomac Yard Metro is a short bus ride away.

Old Town Alexandria and nearby Del Ray neighborhood also offer great shops and restaurants to explore.

Whether you’re here for work or pleasure, The Stone House will be a welcome retreat!

The Stone House is your perfect home away from home.

Spacious primary bedroom has a queen size bed, with luxury hotel mattress topper and bedding.

The room features two walk-in closets and has an adjoining yoga/workout space and NordicTrak treadmill.

Second bedroom has a pull-out couch with full sized plush mattress and a convenient washer and dryer.

We can also provide two twin double-thick air mattresses with linens if needed for up to two additional guests.

In the living room, relax on the deep Arhaus couch and unwind watching your favorite shows or movies on the Samsung Frame TV— or connect to the Sonos amp to listen to your music on the built-in Polk audio speakers in the living and dining rooms. Just sign in to your own accounts to stream your favorite content!

The Stone House has beautiful hardwood floors throughout, and has genuine Kilim rugs.
I live in a separate apartment onsite with my small dog, Ava. You may see us in the yard in the morning or evening, but other than that you probably won’t even know we’re here! There is a touch of whimsy in every room. We hope you’ll enjoy your stay!

Fantastic little house in a great location
It was a family get together as well as doing touristy stuff and this house aloud for both with ease. Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood. And being pet friendly with a nice yard was icing on the cake. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay at the Stone House
The Stone House is a charming house with a great host. We needed to place to stay that was dog friendly for our whole family in Alexandria and this was perfect. Parking was easy and located on the property and walking our dog in the neighborhood was safe and easy. Our host left a kind note, wine, and even treats for our dog on check in, so thoughtful! Would absolutely stay at the Stone House again!

Loved the stone house
The house was beautifully decorated, super comfortable, had everything you would need when traveling, we just loved hanging out there. There is a beautiful park/trail within walking distance (four mile run) and the best organic supermarket (moms) just stone the corner. My sister will most definitely come back again. Teresa was super attentive and met all of our needs.

Loved this place!
Stayed here with my parents for our trip to DC and it was perfect! The drive into the city was quick during non-rush hours. The house was easy to find, clean, and had everything we needed. The host, Teresa, was easy to contact and very nice. We ran out of trash bags and she quickly got some to us. The pull out sofa was comfortable, I didn’t have any issues throughout the week. All pictures are very accurate - the bathroom is tight but not uncomfortably so. Would recommend staying here!!

Details matter
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet, and the off-street parking was a major plus. The host thought of everything down to providing an umbrella, which we needed and didn't have. She had a nice welcome gift waiting for us and even had a few snacks available because she anticipated we would be hungry after traveling. The communication was outstanding with the host! The home was immaculate, and there was even a treadmill off the master bedroom for those who didn't want to miss out on their cardio fitness. I cannot say enough nice things about my stay, but if you are reading this, my takeaway is, "My son and I will try to reserve the Stone House again when we revisit Alexandria."

Great location for D.C. trip
Owner was wonderful, very responsive and provided excellent suggestions for places to eat, etc. Loved that it was only a 3 min walk to catch a bus (then transfer to Metro) to get into D.C. Plenty of room for our family of 5 to sleep. The only downside was that the bathroom is very tight. I learned we definitely need two bathrooms with 5 people! Thank you for everything Teresa!

Great Location and Off Street Parking
Overall the stay at the Stone House was very good. The location was fantastic and what we found out was that having off-street parking was a huge plus. The communication with Teresa from the reservation to departure was outstanding. We had a small issue with the TV and the Wifi during our stay and she was able to get it resolved quickly. A few things that weren't so great: One, there is only one small bathroom which made it difficult at times with three staying there. There were a couple other small issues that we informed the owner. The owner is fairly new at using VRBO and seems very accomodating to making this a great VRBO rental.

AMAZING!
I had an incredible stay at this charming abode. It's warm, well-maintained, and quiet. Not to mention a safe and happy place to roam inside and out. I felt like I was in a home of my own-- and I was thrilled my dog was welcomed. Teresa (the home-owner) was a lovely host and checked in often to make sure I was comfortable during my week stay. I'd recommend this Vrbo to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Alexandria. Excited to visit again! P.S. Teresa is a joy to get to know. She even provided a bottle of wine and dog treats! Legend.
