A convenient motel, well situated for visiting Liverpool and Manchester. A bar and restaurant which were adequate for our needs. Upon arrival we noted a broken bedside light which was hanging from its fitting; whilst still working it was potentially dangerous & was reported to reception- nothing was done to rectify it! The grouting and sealant around the bath was mouldy and the bathroom as a whole was somewhat dilapidated. The hydraulic hinge on the door was leaking oil which was running down the door itself. On the whole the good selection on the breakfast menu was a saving grace and the waitresses were friendly. I have photos to back up these comments.

The hotel was really good all the staff were very helpful and professional. It was in a lovely location within a 15 minute walk from the train station and Parr hall, (the venue we were visiting). The pub dinner adjacent was very good, again with excellent staff and service. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Warrington.

The building and our room were both pretty basic, and had seen better days. A bit miserly with the coffee sachets and I hate having to open my suitcase on the floor. The shower (in a high-sided bath with no safety rails) was just a hand-held and the water pressure was a joke. We had to ask for a second towel … for a double room. At least it was a roof over our head.

The best thing about the stay was the food. The room itself was grimmy, had damp on the woodwork and the carpets were dirty.

Good location with close proximity to the town centre. The outside of the hotel looks very good, however the room was in need of refurbishment, particularly the bathroom that had old and tatty fittings and mold around the bath and on the shower curtain.

Basic accommodation but of good quality
Good location and the adjacent pub offered a good selection of food and drink. Relaxing place. The room has no A/C but does have a fan, which was sufficient. It’s fairly basic but good value for money and the staff are pleasant.

On the whole Hotel was good. Beds were comfortable. room was clean and tidy and cleaned daily. Room had a few decor issues - minor scuffs here and there. I think the biggest let down was the bathroom - large patches of mold all around the bath and shower making it not nice to look at or use very much. On the whole the room and all of the communal areas looked a bit tired and in need of decorating and general tidying up

The hotel room no4 was moldy in the bathroom , bathroom sink area all falling apart . Stains on the carpet , generally just wore down. The hotel looks very pretty and lovely from the outside but one of the worst I’ve stayed in for cleanliness .

This hotel is tired, grubby, dilapidated and smelly. The bathroom (especially the shower curtain) was mouldy and needed a thorough clean. I had to buy an air freshener to make the room liveable. I booked for three nights and realised my mistake immediately. It is possible to get much less worse accommodation for the same price

The room was a little tired with the bathroom needing some attention. The room has no thermostat and with 20°c at night it was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was ok but would be better with a hot buffet then my kids could have picked what they wanted. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful and it was easy to find with good parking.

Room was large (double) with the usual facilities - kettle with tea and coffee, tv, hairdryer etc. Very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Staff were lovely and the breakfast was really good. We’d book here again.

Black mould in bathroom
The hotel cleanliness was absolutely shocking. Both mine and my colleagues room had black mould in our bathrooms. I had long hairs stuck to the tiles by the previous occupier of the room. It's a shame as the bar and restaurant were actually nice, presented well and the food was good but the state of the room just completely ruins the whole stay.
