Super Unterstützung in schwieriget Situstin. DANKE
Super Lodge direkt an den Ufern des Zambesi gelegen. Im weitreichenden Garten gibt es Affen, Warthogs und ab und an auch eine Elefantendame. Wir hatten einebmedizinisch schwierige Situation und allerbeste Unterstützung durch das Hotel-Team. Der Hoteldirektor persönlich hat uns zum Hospital gefahren, dort geholfen alles zu regeln und auch wieder abgeholt. Hervorragend in einer solchen Situation. Danke nochmals an das Team auch führ das gewährte "very late check out".

Die Klimaanlage unseres Zimmers war kaputt, wir haben am nächsten Tag problemlos ein neues Zimmer erhalten. Das Hotel ist direkt in der Nähe des Sambesi, das war ganz nett. Ich fand das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz in der Balance. Aber der Ort Victoria in Zimbabwe ist generell sehr teuer.

To expensive for the offered service
We had only one night . At the arrival all was fine. The room was verry smal but functional ok. Problem starts at night, air con doesn't work because of power loss. After power came back, air con doesn't work. Room was nearly 35 Degree, no sleep at this night because repair wasn't possible. Shower wasn't working at morning because of again power off.... Breakfast was ok, but not what we recommended. All in all service and quality for this high price wasn't okay. We will never come back.

Möglichst pauschal / incl. buchen. Bei uns hatte offensichtlich die Frühstücksbuchung nicht geklappt (klären wir nach Rückkehr). D.h., wir haben für das Frühstück 30$ pro Person und Tag bezahlt. Der Hammer !! Abgesehen von den relativ hohen Preisen waren wir mit dem Hotel srhr zufrieden. Direkt am Sambesi. Personal sehr nett, erwartet aber auch für kleinste Dienstleistungen geringes Trinkgeld.

Hotel in schöner Lage am Sambesi River
Das Hotel ist zu empfehlen. Bei der Buchung via Internet war Frühstück inkl. bzw. HP nicht möglich, obwohl das Restaurant nur halbvoll war. Möchte man nun Frühstücken, verlangt das Hotel für das Frühstücksbüffet 30 Us-Dollar, zu teuer. Da dies schon mehrere Gäste reklamiert hatten denkt mal wohl darüber nach, dies zu verbessern. Am besten man klärt vorher per e-Mail oder tel. Auf unsere Bitte nach 1 Tasse Kaffee mit Toast und Konfitüre erhielten wir jedoch ein Minifrühstück f. Nur 3 Dollar - das Personal ist sehr freundlich und verständnisvoll.

Tolles Hotel direkt am Zambesi.
Es ist ein hervorragendes Hotel,gut ausgestattet Bad mit Dusche und Badewanne. Es gab sogar Bademantel.Die Betten waren ein Traum. Die gesamte Anlage direkt am Zambesi Fluß gelegen.Schöner kann man im Urlaub nicht wohnen,wir waren begeistert von diesem Hotel. Wir können es nur empfehlen,und würden es immer wieder buchen. Es gab auch einen kostenlosen Shuttle der zu den Victoriafällen und in die Stadt fährt. Das Hotel hat 4 Sterne vom Komfort her haben wir schon schlechtere 5Sterne Hotels gehabt..

Landschaftlich sehr schön.
Etwas weit außerhalb des Ortes gelegen, aber es werden kostenlose Shuttles angeboten. Dafür kann man sehr gut abschalten und relaxen. Das Hotel ist sehr überschaubar und und nicht überfüllt. Obwohl direrkt am Fluss gelegen hatten wir keine Probleme mit Moskitos.

Tierbesuche im Garten
Eine Lodge mit Hotelcharakter direkt am Sambesi - Bar u. Restaurant in offenen Pavillons. Die Zimmer liegen an langen, offenen Fluren. Die Balkone u. Terrassen sind nicht voneinander getrennt u. mit schönem Blick auf den Pool u. in den gepfegten Garten. Dieser wird gerne von Warzenschweinfamilien aufgesucht u. abgegrast. Lassen sich Affen blicken schreitet sofort die 'Security ein u. vertreibt sie. Es wird erzählt, dass in der Dämmerung sogar manchmal ein Hippo auftaucht, aber dieses Glück war uns leider nicht gegönnt.

Large well maintained grounds. Reception Staff was very attentive. Joseph was especially kind and helpful. Room was small but offered great views Ann was comfortable for two. Lee, dining room host was wonderful. Shuttle service was a bonus to get to and from various locations. Victor from Heritage booked several activities and cabs for us. He was always available to assist. On-site dining was excellent with breakfast buffet included with our booking level. Highly recommend this place.

This hotel is fantastic if you love nature . It is outstanding . Hippo grazing outside our hotel window, we saw meerkat , warthog , buffalo, deer and baboons all in the hotel grounds at evening and night , this property is not fenced off the animals come to you . The bar closes at 10pm so you are back in your room soon after , there is a shop but it only sells trinkets and clothing stuff , I saw toothpaste but that was all , nothing of any kind to eat or drink , no bottled water , no crisps or snacks , if you want bottled water you pay at the bar , the food is not very good . We are vegetarian and what we got was horrible , over cooked pasta and all the stuff on the buffet was help yourself but nothing I ate was nice and it’s a fortune . We were £60 for the two of us and we ate chocolate in our room as soon as we got back . The restaurant is also outside and rather dark with insects going about which is expected so why they done have the seating inside is something I don’t understand , but the nature beats the food easily at this hotel

Very quiet location during low season but staff excellent and excellent in terms of recommendations and arranging various outings. Restaurant is located overlooking the River in an outdoor setting. Food was good and plentiful. I’d recommend the hotel as a ‘Value for Money’ stay while in Victoria Falls

Slow service. Activities we were told via messages on Hotels.com that were booked for us in advance, we’re not actually booked and prices quoted were wrong. Tried to put us in rooms of less quality than what we pre paid for. Room had missing refrigerator, melted hair dryer, non working phone & reeked of cigarette smoke.

Good location and staff. Beds not so much...
The staff was very helpful even switching us to a new room when a chain-smoking, cancer-in-waiting person checked in to the room next door and spent his holiday on the shared balcony keeping big tobacco in business. The grounds are well maintained. The location is very good relative to Victoria Falls and Zambezi National Park. The staff did, however, leave the lights on every time they cleaned the room. Thus the eco-friendly rating of a 3. The bed was very uncomfortable. It was simply too small for 2 people to sleep comfortably. Make sure to book breakfast when booking the hotel unless you like paying $30/person for french toast, eggs, and bacon.

The property is beautiful. Neat, clean rooms and the staff are very nice. My only bane would be that the shower in the room I stayed in didn't have a soap holder. It broke and I don't think they've bothered to fix it. Had a great stay, still.

A riverfront gem on the mighty Zambezi river.
We had a wonderful stay at A'Zambezi River Lodge. Situated on the banks of the Zambezi river with beautiful river views. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and went over and beyond to make our stay memorable. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and linen spotless. The food was good and the chef made us delicious meals that we pre-arranged for our party of six. The hotel is understaffed due to covid and few overseas visitors but they are doing a great job looking after their guests. Highly recommend this establishment.

WHAT A LOVELY EXPERIENCE! From the first minute to the last minute was more than special. Staff very friendly. Food good! The best place to stay when visiting Vic Falls!!!
