The hotel is in a fantastic location right by the Rialto bridge -- even the express vaporetto 2 line stops right in front of it, and you're within easy walking distance to St. Mark's Square, Fondamente Nove (for trips to Murano / Burano), and pretty much most of Venice.
The hotel itself is old and historic -- I loved the quaint room and architecture, but there are narrow hallways and stairs.
Aside from the air conditioner not keeping up with the heat wave during the worst part of the day, everything was comfortable, and the fabric wallpaper, Murano chandelier and antique(look?) furniture was charming. There is an in-room safe too.
The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful throughout.
The included breakfast during Covid times meant picking food choices from a menu with check boxes, and it was brought to you -- but you could eat it outdoors. No meat options, but pretty much everything else, good quality and prompt service.
