Tolle Anlage zum relaxen
Die Hotelanlage liegt wunderschön, ist jedoch etwas abseits - dies sollte man wissen. Taxifahrten mit den öffentlichen Taxis sind sehr günstig. Das Personal war super nett und es wurden alle Wünsche erfüllt, besonders von unserer private Concierge Suri. Essen im Hotel ist teuer, aber durch günstige Taxipreise kann man gut auch ausserhalb essen. Privater Strand ist toll - auch Massagen dirkekt am Strand waren sehr gut.

Hôtel très décevant. La vu et la plage sont vraiment magnifique. Cependant, les villas avec vu mer sont ridicules (la mer est ce voit a peine...). Nous avons payé un supplément très honnêreux pour avoir la villa front de mer. Villa magnifique ! Le petit déjeuner inclus est vraiment bon est copieux. Nous sommes très déçus du service où toutes nos demandes ont étaient refusés (donner en chambre, petit déjeuner en chambre, ...). Pour couronner le tout, nous avions pris cette hôtel pour sont accès privé à la plage et le beach club, mais cette accès a été bloqué toute une journée complète interdisant laccés à la plage et de ses activités. Juste honteux pour le prix payé très largement au dessus de la moyenne pour Bali ! Je déconseille

Wonderful view, poor service!
You have to be aware of '66%' satisfaction of checkin! Karma kandara is famous for ‘reasonable’ pool villa in bali.It has stunning view, nice facilities and brilliant beach. Than why is it cheaper than Banyan tree or Ayana villas?Do the people who uses there are only who want to waste their money?Not at all. The secret of karma kandara’s price is service We arrived in resort at around 12:30PM. They said that they will offer ‘EARLY’ checkin as soon as our room is ready. Yeah, about 90 minutes were left so we trusted it. They said we can wait in beach or waiting room. As we traveled with grandmother over 70 years old, we chose to wait in waiting room. Guess what? They took us in the empty villa which is right beside the construction site, and we were in there for over 2 hours! Tired of hearing the crashing sound of rocks, we called reception several time and they promised to send a buggy car. But NO one came to there even after 2:00 PM, their original checkin time! As my mom remembered the room number on tag of our luggage(they didn`t notice us), we walked to our room. It was still filled with rock`s noise. We protested the lateness of checkin and buggy, and they offered upgrade to us-yes, bad luck brought good luck maybe-but our mini bar was empty at all, and the baggage of prior guests were still there Also to put an air in our pool toy, we had to request THREE times for it!I have been several pool villas which has similar price to here, and NO villa was slow like here!

Nice appearance with mediocre service quality
My experience at Karma Kandara certainly didnt meet my expectations of a luxury resort. Although the design of the resort if beautiful, the staff’s awaremess of certain industry standard service quality is weak, e.g. when we called them for a buggy, they somply told us to wait for 15min wothout giving a reason, AND, when we waited waited and called and waited, a buggy finally appeared but the driver told us we were not his assigned guests... Also, as we were traveling with a young baby, we requested for a late checkout. While the staff promised us to check with his supervisor and get back the next day, he never did (we ended up calling the front desk to chase and had to explain our situation to another staff all over again). The same issue happened with our booking of in villa bbq. Toothbrush was missing when we checked in. Also, check in was a bit chaotic as rhe front desk was small and guests weren't told who was first or how long they would have to wait for their room. Staff at the beach was friendly though.

Undoubtedly an amazing beach and beautiful resort. Villa was a little run down and my friend got badly bitten by bed bugs on the last night. When we told them, they just apologised and stared at us. They ran out of most items on the menu at the beach club, the day after an event. Just not what you'd expect at a 5 star resort. For the amount you pay service could be much better overall.

Not allowed to bring your own food and drinks
Resort with all villas and not much shared facilities beside a very small restaurant and spa. Spa rooms are nice with ocean villa, same with restaurant. They were not allowing you to bring your own food & drinks from outside (i.e our duty free alcohol bought from airport were "detained" at the check-in counter -- pretty ridiculous). The view is nice, the villa can use better upkeep, there is a small ants problem in the master bathroom. Service is good, but the check out experience is slow.

This is my second stay in 6 months. Very disappointed that I was not informed prior that the beach tram is under maintenance and upgrading works and beach accessibility is totally inconvenient and unfriendly. One of the plus point is the private beach access, without which it takes away the unique feature of Karma Kandara. I would not have booked if I had known I can’t access the beach conveniently. In addition, I thought the villa is a little run down, with the toilet systems not functioning properly and falling apart. Another feedback is that the restaurant should serve some bar bites/snack food.

Beautiful villa on top of a cliff
We chose to stay at karma Kandara for part of our honeymoon. It was such a beautiful location for a relaxing holiday. Staff were fantastic and food was great. Our biggest struggle was how much you had to rely on using the buggy’s to get anywhere. We couldn’t even get to reception or the main restaurant without using them and in busy times you could be left waiting in the heat for 40minutes for them to come pick you up. Overall perfect for a few nights stay but no longer.

Beautiful & Amazing Experience
The property is located at the south most tip of Bali. It is on a cliff and has an elevator to go down to the beach. Beach itself is clean & good. There is also a restaurant just on the beach which serves some amazing food. The property is large and has carts to move around but not that many hence always plan to step out of your villa. Villas are awesome and well kept. Though the kitchen in villas could be more equipped with basic stuff like tea, coffee, salt pepper, sugar, etc. Breakfast definitely needs improvement. Resort gives a choice of American/European/Continental breakfast. Instead they should have a buffet spread. The property although is located beautifully...it is isolated and there is lack of transport available.

Lack of consistency.
Honest feedback. This property needs a good overhaul with quality control. The matresses are rock solid no comfort. Staff put a quilt and an additional protector. Food and beverage overpriced and inconsistent quality. Beware you will have to buy water at all their restaurants. Great location but will need a vehicle to get to nearest village / shop. Beach superb remote from property on the hill but has a condolo to shuttle 4 people at a time. Staff friendliness excellent.

The resort is lovely, the restaurant is a bit over priced and not of value (paying Sydney prices for small servings and little selection). The property is still beautiful but starting to age. Overall had a good time and lovely will visit again.

Too expensive for a very much average quality
The beach is great. The view from the cliff is amazing. Unfortunately, when you compare the level of the staff (below average), the quality of the food (very average, lack of taste), the spa (below average quality of massage) and the service in general it is well below what you will find in Seminyak for example. As a conclusion, the stay at Karma Kandara is way overpriced for what you get. We actually only enjoyed the amazing beach, which btw you can visit and spend the day at without having to pay 500 USD/NIGHT. Finally, when you book an ocean view villa like we did you do actually get only a partial view villa ! the type of these villas is misleading for customers...

The resort is very nice with awesome view. However the check in was slow; checked in almost 40mins after registerattion. The housekeeping was very inefficient, had to call four times for bath towels.

Very relaxing, nice beach, nice view from Di Mare restaurant. Resort is a bit secluded and lack of activities. Would be good if activities like yoga, sauna are free to enjoy.

Very nice hotel right by the beach
The hotel is amazing, the beach , the food at the restaurant, etc. The staff however, despite being very friendly, they are just SO slow, it ruins a big part of the experience.

Wonderful location terrible service
The villas themselves are very nice and the beach is fantastic. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a 3 bedroom villa. The beach is great and the views from the restaurant were magnificent. The stay there was completely ruined by an extraordinary amount of oversight and mistakes in service from the staff including continual mistakes to our room service orders including sending our food to the wrong room. Missing items at the restaurants. The attention to detail also lacked with no bath mats in the room, lack of pool towels and no pool fence or high chairs in the room on arrival as requested.

We really enjoyed our stay at Karma Kandara. The room was clean and the service was good. The best part about the resort is the location. It has the perfect location at the cliff, overlooking ungasan beach from the top. It also has lift to get down to the beach, unlike other hotels that usually only provides hundreds of stairs to get down to the beach. Definitely we'll be back to this resort and recommend it to anyone looking for a leisure stay at Bali.

Amazing location, poorly run
1. The hotel sent me a few emails about our estimated time of arrival, so I responded a day before our arrival, telling them that we would arrive around noon. I also asked to make a spa & dinner reservations but I did not hear back from them. When we got to the hotel, we had to wait forever to check in... and the receptionist told us our room wasn't ready yet. We told him we sent the hotel an email and he said "Yes, I just read it an hour ago and I didn't think you would be arriving until late afternoon." First, I sent that email one day before. Second, I said "around noon"... He didn't even mention about our spa & dinner. 2. Villa was spacious with cheap furnitures. There were monkeys on our roof at night so we couldn't sleep in our master bedroom. The pool in our villa was dirty- the water was almost green, and there were poop by the pool side. 3. The restaurant staff barely spoke English. She didn't even understand "allergy." I told her "no onions, because allergy" and she said "okay onions on the side." So I told her again "allergy. NO onions." and she said "allergy?" with an empty look... 4. There was a bikini foam party at the beach. We wanted to relax by the beach but it was like a college party! No elegance of a five star hotel. 5. Check out was a disaster. A day before our check-out, we requested a hotel car to take us to the airport the next morning. We specifically said no taxi. But of course they arranged a taxi. No apology from the receptionist.

Karma K for a short birthday trip
Few days away for my birthday with the family (wife and 2 young boys) was made that much better by excellent customer service. My eldest has an eating disorder and we are not the easiest of families to accommodate when travelling but the staff were excellent and didn't make us feel like anything was too much trouble. The villa facilities were fantastic as was the beach club and kids club. The setting is amazing from the restaurant views to the chilled out mood and white sand at the beach club. Highly recommended and we could go back as soon as possible. PS the buggy rides are also especially exciting.

Not worth for this price point
The reception area is quite small and understaffing. The service is not up to standard, e.g. not filling up the toiletry and bottle water without several requests. We were renting for a villa for six persons but the private pool is too small to swim, may approx. 12 meters only.

太差的酒店!为了300usd押金,一个月都不退还,骗人的五星级酒店
terrible hotel!第一次去国外的五星级酒店是不退还押金的,在我们check out当天是星期天所以说会计没有上班,所以没有300usd现金给我们,让我们留下银行account号码给他们,他们会在星期一转钱给我们,结果从2月21check out到现在已经一个月了,都依然没有转钱给我们,各种理由延迟,hotels.com也没有办法让他们尽快转钱,这次真的是一次很差的经历!以后不会再去这家酒店,我也会在我的旅游杂志上面开个专栏点评这家酒店和hotels.com!

如此垃圾的酒店居然可以评星级!无语!我用五千多一晚的价钱去订的这间别墅居然到处漏水!一直下雨一直漏水!打电话叫前台来处理!等了三个小时停雨了才过来随便用毛巾搞一下!两天整个屋都是漏水!一直都没有人来处理!直到退房的早上才打电话来问还有没有漏水!别墅的其中两个房间都漏水 连我们的小朋友也因为这样而生病!所以厕所都不干净!住了两天都要打好多次电话才过来随便搞一下卫生!也是晕了!地理位置非常偏远!里面的收费是五星级!请大家一定不要住这样的别墅酒店 一定后悔至极!
