Unglaublicher Service
Das Personal in diesem Hotel liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab! Ich habe selten so einen ausgezeichneten Services erlebt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück haben wir uns in der Villa servieren lassen. Das war einfach perfekt, sogar das Brot wurde bis zum Servieren in der Villa warm gehalten! Die Villen sind einfach unglaublich schön, die Anlage ist erst ein Jahr alt (Juni 2011). Die Privatpools sind fein und nicht einsehbar. Im (riesigen) Bad gibt es einen tollen Jacuzzi. Die Lage der Anlage ist OK wenn auch ein bisschen außerhalb von Ubud, wie dort üblich. Und das Hotel bietet einen kostenlosen Fahrservice. Man wird sogar mit einem Buggy an der Villa abgeholt, der einen zur Rezeption bringt! Insgesamt gibt es nur 17 Villen, was den Aufenthalt sehr exklusiv und privat macht. Leider bin ich während des Aufenthalts krankt geworden. Das Hotel hat mir ohne große Umstände einen sehr guten Arzt geschickt, der eine Stunde anfahren musste. Ich war sehr froh darüber, in dem Hotel gewesen zu sein, denn in Indonesien einen guten Arzt zu finden ist wirklich kein Kinderspiel! Die vom Hotel kannten sich natürlich aus und waren sehr hilfsbereit. Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel wirklich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt jedenfalls keineswegs bereut.

Bad staff service.
I made a reservation for Hillside, but the room has been changed to Ayoung because it's overbooking. The rooms and facilities were clean and I enjoyed a lot in the swimming pool, but I didn't use Ayeong because there was no Wi-Fi or Internet connection. The facilities are well maintained and the welcome drinks, breakfast, afternoon tea, and massage are excellent. Due to the nature of the place, there are many bugs around, but all restaurants are outdoors, so you need to order room service to eat indoors. Twenty or thirty bugs flew to my table when I was having dinner at the restaurant, and the staff saw it when they were serving and did nothing. Also, I told my desk that hot water doesn't come out when I take a shower at night, but I haven't heard from her since, so basic staff communication is very bad and passive, such as giving up taking a shower that night.

A little bit of heaven
This place was perfect for me and what I wanted - luxury and privacy! Felt like a home away from home and I didn’t want to leave. Perfect for solo travellers like myself or for couples who do not want to be disturbed. The staff are amazing and provide an attentive and tailored service depending on your needs, no ask is too much and they’re not overly in your face. The food at both breakfast and dinner/lunch and room service is exemplary. Very clean and efficient. Only downfall is there is some quite obvious wear and tear around the villa but as I went off season this didn’t bother me and nothing a lick of paint can’t fix. Everything you need to be clean was clean! I would definitely stay here and recommend this place again. Having travelled far and wide, it’s not often I say that!

ここでの宿泊は、これで6回目くらいになるのですが、バリに来る時は必ずサマヤウブドに泊まっています。 最近は部屋も新しくなって、さらに快適に過ごせますし、何よりスタッフさんのホスピタリティが抜群に良いと思います。 仕事という感じではなく、心から喜んでいろんな対応をしてくださるところが、また来たいなと思わせてくれるところかなと感じています。 特に朝食が素晴らしく、美味しいのはもちろん、好きなものを好きなだけオーダーして楽しむことができます。 おすすめは「フルーツのプレート」「オムレツ」「オレンジジュース」「ベジタブルソテー」。 ジムで汗を流して、シャワーを浴びてから、ヴィラのプールでのんびりすごしたり、静かな環境の中、仕事をするとすごく捗ります。 広大な敷地にヴィラは全部で19棟らしいのですが、混み合う感じは一切なく、本当にゆったりとした時間が流れ、 普段忙しく過ごしている人にとっては、自分らしさを取り戻す良い時間になるのではないかなと思います。 一人で泊まっても、家族や友人で泊まっても、間違いなく最高の時間になるでしょう。 外に出かけるのが、勿体ないと思うくらいに快適なホテルです。

Everything about The Samaya is incredible. Service is out of this world. We had a villa with pool, completely secluded but with views over the rice fields. Even for a night it will make your trip to Ubud unforgettable.

We are family of 5 and stayed for 2 days in 2 bedroom with pool villa. We felt excited from the ride on buggy after check-in, and the excited feeling lasted until we had left. We could have breakfast in the villa, but the view from the restaurant, "the terraced rice field', was good enough to go out to restaurant for breakfast. Also, the complementary afternoon tea provided in the same place was good enough. It was very useful that the shuttle was always available at any time up to Ubud city. However, the traffic in Ubud city was so crowded that it look somewhat more time to get to the city than we had expected. During the stay, I loved the free minibar and dialy refilled fruit basket. However, the pool of villa was 1.8m deep, which made it difficult for young childern to use it, but all the other facillities including spa bath and the amenity, and the kindness of staff was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I hope I can visit again.

SAMAYA Villa 是我這次九天行程中，選擇價格最貴的Villa，對於帶著兩個孩子旅行的我們，飯店十分貼心的提供了免費的加床，以及嬰兒床給我們，而且貼心的提供免費的下午茶，豐盛的早餐可以選擇，加上美麗的梯田風景，會讓你想坐在那裏悠閒的度過整個上午的時光。 房間的泳池深度很深，即使是大人也踩不到底，適合西方人，小孩子建議準備好泳圈，不過我有留意到泳池的水有略為加溫，即使雨季有點冷，還是可以下去游泳。 不過對於Mini Bar收費，以及收費的價格(大約2~3倍價格)十分無法認同，同樣等級的金巴蘭肉桂是完全免費提供的，因為相對付出飯店的價格來比，Mini Bar內的東西真的不值多少錢，但是當你看到他販售的價格時，會讓你感受很差。 餐廳的餐點十分的棒，而且不貴，並且與烏布大街某些同樣高檔的餐廳相比，便宜許多，加上可以坐在愛詠河聽著水流過的聲音用餐，十分的值得，尤其適合來度蜜月的新婚夫妻，即使沒有入住也可以進來用餐。

a dream to stay here, highly recommend for couples
My husband and I had such a heavenly time at this resort. The staff was so friendly and helpful, they always knew our names and were extremely helpful and polite. They were very attentive and knew anytime we left our room so they could do turn down service early and quickly. The grounds are tropical and lush. The villas are very private, lots of space, and quite frankly, nicer than the over-water bungalows that we stayed in for our honeymoon. This is one of the nicest villas we've been lucky to stay in. For what you pay, you get so much! The villa is gorgeous and so spacious. Your own personal plunge pool with a patio, a covered pagoda to relax in the shade overlooks a pond with coi. The room itself is also very spacious with an equally impressive bathroom. Fresh fruit is in your room every day and you can let them know what you like/don't like. Free breakfast is included and you can opt to have breakfast served in your villa. Free shuttle service to town anytime. They offer free activities like yoga, hiking, etc. We did the yoga; very relaxing way to start the day. We often didn't see guests and felt so relaxed the entire time. The restaurant at the resort is one of the most famous in Ubud, which was a great surprise as a guest. It's along the river and is quite the backdrop. The grounds are vast and you can walk around easily or they have golf carts to take you wherever you want to go. I was very sad to leave. I highly recommend this resort and will come back again!

Feels like coming home
Amazing experience (again)! We visited Samaya Ubud for the third consecutive time and words fail to describe how wonderful we have been received, and how amazing our time has been there. The staff was very friendly and helpful with dinner reservations and shuttle, and they absolutely spoiled our 2 year old son who was ecstatic about the buggy. We loved our privacy in the villa, with our pristine pool and sun beds, and a huge fish pond.   Towels were changed 2 times a day (wow!), and we received fruits and cakes every day. To us, Samaya has become a second home and it was this feeling that made us return so many times. After Samaya, we spent a couple of nights at another private villa (same star category!) meeting some friend who stayed there, and we unfortunately came to regret that decision. Many thanks to Wayan, Gede, Mahendra, 'uncle' Eddie and the entire Samaya staff for their professionalism, hospitality and friendliness. We can't wait to see you again next year!

エクスペディアなどで評価が高かったので5泊程しました。 プライベートプール付きのヴィラに泊まりました。 プールは源泉掛け流し（笑）で水はきれいでした。また、朝食も美味しく頂きました。 ただ、管理職と思われるスタッフが大して仕事もしないのにジェネラルマネジャーの何某とか、なんとかマネージャーの何某とかが、トリップアドバイザー等の評価を上げたいようで、やたら、大丈夫とか、問題ないかとか、やたらうるさかったです。 こちらはゆっくりしようとウブドまで来てるのに、全く興醒めでした。 客にタイトルを自慢したがるのも（そういう風に受け取られても仕方ない）理解出来ませんでした。 また、日本のホテルと違いベッドのシーツを替えることはありませんでした。 交換するかなど、聞かれもしませんでした。 舞踏を見るのに場所を聞いたら、何人も聞いたのに、行ったら全く違う場所で、1時間ほど歩くことになりました。 ベッドメイキングは客が部屋にいない時にホテルの都合の良い時に行われます。 顧客の都合は基本、関係なしです。 サービスに関してはバリでは素晴らしいのかもしれませんが、日本だったら普通かそれ以下のサービスでした。 日本人のスタッフは非常に親切でしたが、お休みでいない時が多かったので、他の方と比べるとその恩恵は少なかったと思います。 日本人スタッフがいるので高評価ですが、彼女が辞めたらあっと言う間に評価が下がると感じました。

プライベートなお部屋も素晴らしいですが、レストランの朝食・ディナーが素晴らしいです。朝は棚田の絶景を見ながら、夜は川のせせらぎを聴きながら、美味しい料理を頂いてゆっくりと時が流れて行きます。あまりに食事が美味しかったので、2日目のケチャダンスの予定はキャンセルして、再びホテルで夕食をとりました。 スパのお部屋も施術も素晴らしいです。心の隅々までリフレッシュされた大満足の二日間でした。

Unexpected & Unbelivable! The hospitality n services was the best ever being experienced. The Spring water available in the hotel was available in d room and the swimming pool, very natural n good!! The breakfast for the best ever had especially it's no time control as long as it taken in that day, the selection n quality of food was better than any 5 stars resort!! 快適かつ要望を積極的に聞いてくれる
ウブドでいくつかのヴィラに泊まりましたが、その中ではここが一番快適で、清潔で、食事も美味しかったです。日中、部屋で仕事をする際も、藁葺き屋根だとなかなか冷房がきかなかったりするのですが、ここは建物が密閉されていて、冷房の効きも良く、すごく快適に過ごすことができました。 朝食も、アラカルトのメニューから、自由に頼めて（いくつでも頼んでOKな雰囲気でした）、毎日朝食の時間が楽しみでした。味はかなり美味しいです。ジムもキレイだし、部屋のプールもそこそこ広いし、また宿泊したいと思いました。

Close to perfection!
The overall experience was fantastic. The service, the rooms and the surroundings of the hotel are a dream. The staff of the hotel is always avaiable and does everything to make you happy. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to discover the Ubud area while at the same time relax and take their time

Relaxing holiday in mountain
I loved this resort so much. There are many choices for brekfast menu including Indonesian, egg benedict, pancake...., which you can eat as much as you want. I also enjoyed the view of rice paddi and forest from a restaurant. The resort is surrounded by forest (or jungle) and it is very quite since thu number of rooms is small despite huge area. I strongly recommend a dinner at Swept Away restaurant. Services, food and wine are excellent and the atmosphere is quite romantic at night. I want to come back there...

Stayed 3 nights in Hillside Villa
It was a ok experience for us, the Hotel itself and their staff are excellent, my major disappointment was that from day one we had Gecko's in the Villa, there were about 3 or four in room and in Bathroom, also lots outside the wooden planks near door and windows. We have a thing with Gecko's and really scared of them and this didn't help. Did not mind if they remain outside the Villa but there was a hole somewhere in Villa that they kept coming in. Excellent breakfast. Service by staff was great as they responded to get the Gecko's out as soon as we called them without success most of the time, that fearful experience was very uncomfortable. It rained the three days so did not get to use the Villa pool....This is not a place to travel with kids as not much to do. On my final day, I had booked a 90 minute Balinese massage and told that will get 90 min massage for same price as 60min and to my disappointment the massage just ended before 60minutes, felt cheated but did not have time to complaint.

Paradise
Absolutely beautiful grounds that were extremely well looked after. You cannot fault this place - the day Spa is wonderful, the villas are beautiful, the food is delicious. Above all, the staff are amazing. Everyone goes above and beyond to make your holiday special and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back.

素晴らしいの一言です。ロケーション、設備、サービス、ホスピタリティ全てで満足です！価格を考えてもそれ以上の充実した時間を過ごせる事は約束されています！虫除け対策はバッチリ！部屋も清潔で、2.3回へやを出たらすぐ綺麗にしてくれます。 バトラーさんやフロントの方の対応力は今までのこの価格帯のホテルでぐんを抜いて素晴らしいです。むしろ安いくらいです‼︎ ウブド中心部には無料で送迎があり、苦になりません！ 食事もパーフェクト‼︎朝ごはんは口コミ通り理にかなった素晴らしいものでした！ 日本人、日本語が出来るスタッフの方がいるので安心して過ごせます！全ての食事は部屋でとることができますし、わがままも聞いてくださって2泊しかしなかったのですが素晴らしかったです！サマヤが大好きになりました、スミニャック サマヤにも是非次はいきたいです！ 子供連れでも安心して過ごせました！ また次回もよろしくお願いします！

また来年も来ます！
去年たまたま宿泊した時、サービスのよさに感動したので、次もここにしようと決めていました。 いざ行ってみると「おかえりなさい」と迎えられまず感動。 たまたま空いていたからと部屋がヒルサイドからアユンサイドにグレードアップされていてさらに感動。 「おかえりなさいサービス」としてケーキがサプライズで用意されていてますます感動。（甘さ控えめで美味しかった！） 滞在中も至れり尽くせりのサービスと、美味しいご飯（朝食が食べ放題なのが嬉しい）。 気持ちいい湧き水プールとウブドの空気に癒されて、すっかり骨抜きになって帰ってきました。 また来年も行きます。いえ、帰ります。

Review The Samaya, Ubud
The resort is a quick 5-7 minute drive to Ubud centre. The resort not only drops you off but will pick you up when ready. The Resort staff are very professional, and also sincere with Customer Service, everyone from the Gardiner to Management could not do enough when it was requested. The Restaurant beside the river was an awesome retreat to relax and chill out after a day sightseeing. Our private Villa was our sanctuary within the resort and very quite. Fronting the river, and no roads near us provided us with a very Zen like experience. Yes we had groups travelling down the river white water rafting, however this was not constant and the occasional laugh and squeal provided us with a little laugh as well. The Day Spa was a much needed sanctuary, the massages worked well and released the built up tension that our bodies get over time.
