Cute Hotel with modern, tasteful interior
The lobby and main building is historic and looks like it's fallen out of a Wes Anderson movie. I was delighted by the modern and tasteful interior design of the rooms. Actually would've loved to take home most of the artwork on the walls. Beautiful waterfront view on the Vinoy harbour and the St Pete skyline. Enjoyed the pool and complimentary fitness classes. A wonderful touch was also the Aveda shampoo in the room, which smelled heavenly and makes me want to buy more. Also, breakfast in bed was surprisingly fresh and delicious!

Das Hotel lebt vom guten Ruf und von der Substanz. Das Standardzimmer hatte Aussicht auf die Hotel-Klimaanlage. Für einen Aufpreis von 40 USD hätte man Aussicht auf irgendwas anderes gehabt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist seinen Preis nicht wert. Alles in allem nicht das, was die Bilder versprechen. Hierher kommen wir sicher nicht nochmals.

Stillvolles Hotel an schöner, guter Ausgangslage
Sehr schönes gediegenes Hotel an toller Ausgangslage zum flanieren. Haben auch in nächster Nähe Top gegessen und würden es jedem empfehlen, der eine eher formelle Unterkunft schätzt. Für kleinere Kinder würden wir es nicht empfehlen. Für unsere Kids 7 und 11 war es an der Grenze zu "zu vornehm". Zur Beach braucht man das Auto oder den Bus zu nehmen. Es empfiehlt sich hier oder in Clearwater an die Beach zu fahren, so weissen Strand gibt es sonst wohl kaum.

We checked in around 9:40pm. We had a reservation for a king. They did not have any king beds and put us in an annex of the main hotel in a room with two queen beds. The air conditioning did not work and it was 78 degrees all night, we were in the last room. We paid $1100. including resort fees. It was miserable stuff and hot. Very disappointing. The front desk just said they would let maintenance know about the air.

We had an absolutely fabulous time! Never had to look for someone to help or have any unanswered questions. Help was never far away, but also not in your face either. It was a perfect mix of seclusion with excitement never far away. The property is stunning! highly recommend a stay!

I loved the area, the hotel was beautiful the only thing that was really really frustrating was that we waited to get checked in to our room for an hour and a half after check in time, we just came in from a 4 hour car drive, we were tired, starving, we had our dog with us he needed water and we were just stranded in the lobby no food was available on premise at the time they told us we had to walk a couple blocks to get food! Nobody explained how to get around some elevators took us to our floor some elevators did not it was very confusing! When we finally got in our room after 2 hours we tried to order room service nobody answered, in the morning I tried ordering room service for breakfast and nobody answered again! I think they are understaffed, and the staff that is working are a bit overworked!

From the moment you enter, splendor is felt. Service is top notch and pool is awesome. Although our room was not recently updated it was still nice. Only complaint was shower floor. It is need of replacing and for hotel room price it should be.
