Tired Property
The location of this property is perfect. The property however is extremely tired. Not only does it need a thorough cleaning, top to bottom but there were many maintenance items that were neglected and ignored. Missing tiles in the bathroom, fan vents in dire need of cleaning door jams in need of replacement, dirty furniture, kitchen tools ie spots and pans that were way past their use. This property desires better as do the people who rent it.

St. George Vacation 2023
The place was as advertised. It was clean and convenient to the beach and all the other venues on the island. The internet was out the entire week which really put a damper on my ability to work and stream TV. The owner was responsive on the issue but unfortunately, the internet was never restored. He supplied a backup wifi connection, but the bandwidth was poor. We ended up using our hotspot when we needed it.

The property was centrally located and relatively near the beach. First impression was the key pad not opening and we had to call the property owner (didn't answer) and then VRBO which took about 1/2 hour on hold and speaking to the rep. Owner finally called and said we were operating the door wrong, though we believe the lock was stuck and not cycling open (even though it was making noise). Finally it opened after about 20 tries and worked most of the time the rest of the stay. Property appeared clean (though socks got dirty easily on the tile). Many of the amenities (dishwashing soap, shampoo, hand soap, etc.) were put away, so we didn't know if we were allowed to use them. We ran out of paper towels the first day (had not been replenished). One bed was very firm and the other was way too soft. The sheets and towels were soft, though. Our main concern and observation was lack of regular and routine maintenance, including the tub (backed up badly to 8 inches when you took a shower), numerous cracks in walls and tile, unlevel refrigerator door (that flew open all the way when you opened it), dirty tile floor, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, cracks in ALL of the window seals, stained and very old bedroom carpet, rusted window coverings, etc.. One of the bedrooms has a door to the porch and its VERY noisy when the neighbor guests sat on the porch and talked at all hours of the morning and night. I would absolutely NOT recommend or stay at this property again.

Accurate Description, Great Location
Had a small hiccup checking in due to an incorrect code but communication was fast and problem was solved super fast. Apartment was spacious and great for our family with two small children. Location was convenient, easy to walk to beach, park, and restaurants--even with a stroller. Saw mixed reviews about WIFI but it worked great for us with no issues.

Perfect location
Check in was made very simple. The place was clean and the location absolutely could not be beat. There was parking right in front. Everything was a 5 min or less walk (Beach, restaurants, grocery store etc) loved the large patio. Very quiet in the evening which was very much appreciated with two Littles.

St George Mini Vacation for 4 days
We checked in and the cleaning crew had not been there . I sent a message and Reed the owner was super prompt in getting things ready. The cleaning person did not show up that day but one of his family members ( I believe his mom) and cleaned the entire place while we went looking around. Incredible service and prompt. Otherwise solid 5’s . Reed and his staff are amazing and the place has everything you would need and an owner that goes above and beyond. Our visit to St. George was a blast to say the least . My only regret was not being able to rent for a longer period of time at this location. Walk to everything . Location, Location , Location as the saying goes . The owner offered us a partial refund because of the cleaning situation. The owner , the property, service level …. All 5 star!

Overall it was a good place
We got there and walked in on someone in our unit, it had been double booked. Luckily they were nice. We got in touch with the owner, and he got it squared away. It was a nice place, and conveniently located, however the heat/ac was out and the kitchen sink didn’t work. The owner attempted to have them looked at, but to no avail. I was told I would be getting a discount because of all the issues (which I didn’t ask for) but I never did. Not a fan of being told something and it not happening.

Totally Worth It
This was our first time on Saint George’s island. We absolutely fell in love with the place, both the town and the condo. The condo is ideally situated right in the heart of the town and Just a hop skip and a jump two great restaurants, grocery store, and most importantly the beach. There was a mixup when we first got there because the cleaning people had not shown up to do their job, but when we called Reed He arranged for three people to come right over and clean up for us. For our inconvenience he also gave us a discount on the total price. His kindness and professionalism really made a big difference not only in that situation but whenever we needed to ask him something. Great beds, great porch

This is our second trip to SGI and we’ve stayed at this place both times. The beds are comfortable, the open concept for the kitchen is perfect for a smaller space. Feels just like home and has everything you could ever need. Owners are very friendly and responsive. If this is available when we come back we will choose it again. Pizza next door, coffee across the street, quick walk to the beach and shops. ❤️🌊🌴

It’s not a far walk from the room to the blue parrot which is nice. All the stores are close by right next door to bj’s pizza place, that come in handy. Overall nice place, could use a little work but, that’s just nitpicking.

One for the books
First and foremost, this was my first vrbo/airbnb/etc booking /stay and all I have to say is that Denise has set the highest standard for all future bookings. She was absolutely incredible, very responsive , and just an absolute delight. The property is the perfect location, all restaurants, shopping, and the beach were within short walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you could possibly need (she even has a Keurig, a toaster oven, a toaster, a blender, pitcher, cake dish, even an icecream scoop to name a few [and trust me, that's only a few]). We all had such a lovely time and this is definitely the place we will be staying the next time we visit. Thank you so much Denise for all that you've done to make our vacation comfortable and relaxing.

A great place with a great price
We came down for a wedding, and wanted to find a place we could enjoy while staying on a budget. This was the answer! The rental made us feel like we had spent a good bit more than we did. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, so you just have to bring the food. It was a short walk to the beach, and they even provided chairs, coolers, and towels. Denise was wonderfully attentive. She was always a step ahead of us on what we might need. Next time we return to SGI, we plan on renting the same place!

Nice place
Easy to rent from the website, Denise is great to work with. The kitchen faucet wouldn’t turn off and she did everything to get someone to fix without any luck but made sure we were taken care of. Will be back in October will rent again.

Thanks Murray! I appreciate how understanding you were when it turned out we needed a completely new kitchen faucet. We were going to put in a temporary one pending a nicer replacement, and you were SO generous to allow us to wait the extra three days for the better faucet to be delivered rather than having us pay for two different plumber visits! Ten Days During Corona Virus Pandemic
The two bedroom apartment above a real estate agency business in central St. George Island was a very good place to stay during the "stay at home" order. The spacious apartment and large outdoor, covered porch gave us plenty of room and a chance to be outdoors while staying socially distant. The bed was super comfortable and the high ceilings and beach decor are great. The view of the village area and the Gulf was very nice. With the beach about 100 yards away, this surely would be a convenient place to stay during normal times. Owner Denise was very helpful with detailed, timely, and very helpful communications before and during our stay - thank you Denise! There are cats that live next door and they occasionally made their way onto the apartment property. If you like St. George Island and are okay with an apartment not directly on the beach, this apartment would be a very good choice.

We had far more at our disposal than we expected. It was clean & maintained well. No one in unit next to us so I can't say much about noise from things like tv or music. Master bedroom bed was comfy but glad that guests were not along as the second bed seemed quite firm. No table, only a breakst bar, that was fine for us. We knew that from veiwing pictures. A peaceful November retreat
This is a lovely peaceful spot on St. George Island. The unit is beautifully decorated and very clean and well-stocked. It is close to the lighthouse and the beach as well as 2 grocery stores, so you can walk everywhere. At this time of year the island is very quiet. Unfortunately the weather was cold and rainy the 3 days we were here, but we would love to return some day. We had bicycles with us and rode around the island as well as St. Joseph's peninsula and the Tallahassee/St. Mark's rail trail - all quiet easy rides.

Great little place
We stayed for just a couple nights, but this little apartment was perfect for what we were looking for. It was within walking distance to most restaurants we wanted to go to. Doc Myers was just around the corner, which made my boyfriend very happy because he was able to watch all the football games, have a couple drinks and easily walk back. It wasn't too far of a walk to Paddy's, which was a lot of fun they had live music an later on a trivia night. The view is nice from the apartment as well, it was just a very peaceful place to be to relax for a couple nights. We will definitely stay again the next time we want to get away for a bit.
