Kudos to the Blue Crab
Have stayed at many VRBO units through out the states and the Blue Crab is one of the cleanest. Everything was in proper working order and up to date. Had a great time and will recommend this place to other family members and friends. Thanks for sharing your bit of paradise.

Perfect Stay!

Amazing stay!
The property was gorgeous, the location absolutely perfect and the host could not have been any more helpful. Everything about the stay from the reservation to the check-in to the checkout process was well explained and easy. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. We will definitely be booking for our next stay on the island at the Blue Crab!

Great visit!
This property is perfect for us. It has everything we need, makes us feel right at home and is in a great location. We didnt get in the car once all week! Becky is a great host. Communicates great and very responsive. We will be back hopefully for years to come!

Perfect Location and Homey feel

Needs updating
We did not use the dishwasher or coffeemaker because they were moldy. Kitchen faucet was gross. We hand washed all glasses before using them. No bar ware available. The cookware is well past the expiration date and of poor quality. there were no kitchen towels or dish cloths. Very disappointing in a location where you want to prepare fresh fish and food since restaurants are so scarce. The sheets are stained and no extra blankets. I fixed broken lamps and drawers. The ceiling fans were so dirty. Better to update the place with the money I gave you.

Hello Lori. I'm so sorry to hear this and that it's too late to correct any of this for you. The housekeeper certainly could have. My new one is just fabulous. I just fired the old one. I also just bought a brand new stainless coffee pot. I'll have to make sure the old one is thrown away. New pots and towels are on the way as well. Oh and blankets should be in the ottoman but maybe were put up with the 90 degree weather we've had. Again, I sure do apologize.

Great Family Vacation
Our family really enjoyed the week at the Blue Crab. The house fit us great, and the location was wonderful. The only difficulty was the cooking utensils. Some of them were not usable from wear and tear, and the grill was extremely difficult to use due to air flow. Outside of that, I would definitely recommend this beautiful home to anyone who wants a relaxing week on the water!

Amazing getaway!

Great Stay
We had 6 of us come stay for a wedding and had an incredible time. The house provided a few beach chairs, which we really appreciate. The central location was awesome, and we pretty much were able to walk or ride a golf cart wherever we needed to go.

Perfect location and setup
The location and space was perfect for our spring break family with friends and pups. Not only the proximity to the beach, but the stores and the blue parrot restaurant are all walking distance too. Winter Get Away
We had a great trip and the stay was perfect. If you wanted to park your car on arrival and never get back into it until you leave you could. Everything you could need is in walking distance. The island was perfect this time of year for walking on the beach and the return back to home just as nice. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location!
This was our 2nd stay at Blue Crab. Becky is very responsive if anything goes wrong. You cannot beat the location and view. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. Furniture is a little beat up, but for the price, you can't beat it!

Very nice property
The kitchen was well stocked, deck furniture was great, Coastal furnishings were comfortable with adequate seating for our 7. I liked the Blue Crab sign on the front and back of unit making it easy to locate from the beach and road. Great location on the beach, not crowded, and close to Ice cream, The Blue Parrot and Weber's Donuts. The lighthouse is close by and Island Grocery is within walking distance. Super place to stay!

Great place in a perfect location!
This house was perfect! It is located within walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and grocery store. The views off the back decks were beautiful. The house is clean and had everything we needed. The only thing that woukd have made it better was tv's in the bedrooms. We will definitely look to book at the Blue Crab again next time!

Summer vacay
We love St George Island and have visited on numerous occasions. The location of The Blue Crab is excellent and in walking distance to almost everything. The beds and furniture were nice and comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished and the air conditioning worked great all week. The only complaint was our checkin. Checkin was supposed to be at 4:00 and we were not able to checkin until 6:00 pm. I understand that part of the cleaning crew had an incident(cut themselves while cleaning)and that put them behind, however I feel there should have been backup to assist in getting house cleaned in a more appropriate amount of time.

Excellent location!! Beach front comfort!!
Our family enjoyed our first SGI stay in this beautiful beach front home. The house is larger than it appears in the photos, especially the living room. There are so many windows for natural light. All the furniture was comfortable, including the deck furniture. The location was amazing. Just a few houses down from the light house. We were within 5 minutes walking distance to any restaurant or shop. The SGI Trading store with ice cream and coffee was literally just behind the house. The beach was our "front yard". SGI itself is a very small, low key beach community, with beautiful beaches! We loved the laid back pace!! No long driving lines on Saturday to get to the beach houses. We've vacationed in various beaches in AL, NC, SC, and FL. SGI is the winner!! Our family is already working out dates to return next year. The Blue Crab helped us fall in love with SGI.

Perfect location on St George Island
This property is so convenient to everything. Within walking distance to restaurants, shops and grocery. We brought our dog and there is a perfect grassy area for walks and potty breaks very close to the property. The rental could use some updating in the kitchen and some extra linens would have been nice, but overall this was a good rental.

Great stay in the heart of the island
This home was great. The only thing that could have been better is maybe a privacy partition of some kind, it’s kind of like you and your neighbors are all on the same deck because of how close they are side by side, but luckily our neighbors turned out great. The home was clean, kitchen had all we needed for a simple stay, beds were comfy, view was beautiful, right by all the main stores and such, and they even provided extra beach towels for us which was great. The owner was responsive for any questions we had and was very kind and nice in all communication. I highly recommend this place for a central stay on a beautiful island! Thanks for helping me treat my little family to a great vacation!

Beautiful beach trip
If you’re looking for a relaxing, convenient, and waterfront property.. this is it! My family and I enjoyed 4 nights at Becky’s property. The check in was super easy, the house came with the main necessities.. which was perfect after a long day at the beach with kids. The view was wonderful. We enjoyed watching storms out at sea at night with the breeze on the top deck. The house is within walking distance to all the main staples SGI has to offer. As a Tallahassee native I’ve always wanted to stay in one of these homes.. it did not disappoint. I hope to return one day.. Thanks for the hospitality!

Fabulous house and location
This was our second time staying at St. George Island, but first time at a house on the beach and it was amazing. The convenience of the property cannot be beat and everything was very comfortable and easy. The house was actually bigger than it seemed in the pictures, so we did not feel cramped at all.
