The biggest complaint we used to receive years ago was, "we wish we had planned to stay longer". We soon realized that in order to enjoy all the abundance of nature and beauty you had to stay at least 3 nights... It turn out to be the right decision...

Helen thank you for your review. We are so sorry about the broken hot water pipe under the dock. Lake House Blue has so many advantages of being on the cutting edge of nature but we are sometimes on the down side of a severe storm. We were so pleased you allowed us to reschedule your visit at our expense. We would like to think we have control over everything to do with this house but sometimes things are beyond our control and we are so grateful when our guests are understanding.... We started feeding the Blue Gill twice a day about 2 years ago and we think that has helped our results. We know the Bass doesn't want to eat the pebbled food but the Bass loves the happy Blue Gill.... Thanks for sharing your fishing results with us....

Thank you Rick for a great review.. For many years the first thing guests would ask me after seeing the pictures of Lake House Blue "is it really out in the Lake" ? The answer is yes we are more than 200 feet from the shore line. The first reaction is to realize you feel like you are on a ship but without the movement. This makes this setting very quick and easy to get used to.

Thanks Julia for a great review. Yes central Florida has been really hot this summer so far. But we are glad we put in an additional central Air Conditioning system two years ago so this is not a problem for us. No standard central air system can keep up in these high temperatures. We are so glad we realized this before it became a regular occurrence in July and August...

We love the Living Room porch for breakfast and the Master Bedroom porch at sun down. We have owned this Lake House for a very long time and we have never gotten tired of enjoying it. But over and over we were told by those same family and friends that this home needs to be shared. But we cannot take the credit for this idea we now call Lake House Blue. It was the brain child of two brothers from Washington State back in 1965. What started off as a private Bass Fishing house has become a family sportsman's retreat....we are glad to share..

Other boat renters just like the nice long ride between our Lake House and Georgia Boys. It is a very nice nature ride with the overhead trees thru Dunn's Creek. This is the same waterway and views the first settlers would have seen on the steam boats of the early 1900's.

But nature steals the show with a constant change of scenery and wildlife. Every month offers something new to see.
