The Space:
Gadhvi Farms sits in the peaceful suburbs of Newtown, West of Geelong. 27 minutes away from the city of Ballarat and an hour's drive from Melbourne. The tiny house is situated on a flat piece of land behind the front right-hand side paddock of the property, offering a quiet and private retreat while remaining close to the main house.

Nearby destinations include Otway Fly Tree Walk and Otway Fly Treetop Adventures, approximately a 40-minute drive away, as well as Hare Krishna Valley and Stevenson’s Falls, both within a 40-50 minutes drive away.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings. But will have limited access to the dam and our paddock with cattle. When roaming on the farm, little kids and children should be accompanied or supervised by an adult or parents.

As an added note, please don't go too close to cows or try to milk them without permission. We kindly ask guests to be respectful during their stay as the property is managed by an elderly couple.

- Gadhvi Farms is only 20-25mins drive to Ballarat and you can also visit Goldmines and Ballarat City Centre
- Avalon Beach is a popular tourist destination for surfers thanks to its steady waves and clear blue waters.
- Ocean Grove is one of the popular surf towns in Victoria, surrounded by renowned wineries, scenic beaches, and golf courses.
- Lake Burrumbeet is a large freshwater lake and good carp fishing spot. It is also perfect for swimming, boating, kayaking, and jet skiing.
- You Yangs Regional Park is great for mountain biking, with two mountain biking areas with more than 50 kilometers of thrilling paths suitable for cyclists of all skill levels.
- Geelong Waterfront is a tourist and recreation area on the north shore of Corio Bay. There are plenty of restaurants on scenic piers, a 19th-century carousel, playgrounds, and grassy areas for picnics.
- Torquay Beach is the best surfing spot in Victoria, but there is more to it than just surfing. You can also enjoy the coast from vantage points along the Surf Coast Walk and snorkel around Point Danger Marine Sanctuary.

- No loud music after 8 PM
- Charcoal BBQ Grill is available
- Pets are allowed by prior notice
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- All mobile phone receptions have weak signals
- Recycling and garbage bins are located near the front shade
- There are no pets or dogs on the property but we have some friendly cows
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We sell cow manure and dried cow dung cakes for xx per xxx and you use it for fire purposes
- Firewood available at a cost. Guests are welcome to join in the "Feeding time of cows".
- We also sell cow manure and dried dung cakes to guests interested in lighting up campfires
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Vegetarian breakfast and other meals are available with prior notice from the host. Meals can be served on-site or can be served on the veranda of the main house.

Farm guidelines

- Keep a safe distance from pets and farm animals as they are easily agitated
- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.
- Keep in mind that charcoal BBQ grill and outdoor fire pit are not available during a total fire ban
- To maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our compost toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
