Authentic and gracious Casertan hospitality
Ponte Ronico is one of those gems that is increasingly hard to find. Genially presided over with elegance and understated panache by Claudio and Cecilia, this sensitively restored family summer retreat complete with olive groves, magnificent views over the spectacular Roman bridge (from which the resort derives its name) and even its own private chapel, this is a real oasis of beauty, peace and comfort. There is a beautiful and well maintained pool for the use of residents too. It is close by good restaurants in the atmospheric medieval town of Sessa Aurunca and Carano. The room we had was spacious, elegant and spotless and the breakfasts on the terrace with fresh figs, breads, cheeses and homemade jams, were relaxed and delicious. But above all, the warm and gracious hospitality of the Irace family make Ponte Ronico something special. We warmly commend to anyone looking for quiet comfort.
