Gute ruhige Lage, könnte etwas gemütlicher sein
Wir waren nur drei Tage auf unserer dreiwöchigen Mexiko-Belize-Rundreise im "Corona del Mar". Unser Zimmer im 1. Stock war sauber und groß genug. Das offene Restaurant und die Bar könnten etwas gemütlicher eingerichtet werden. Wir haben nur 1x im Restaurant zu Abend gegessen und es war schmackhaft. Das Frühstück an sich war auch gut, aber es gab nur Plastikgeschirr/-besteck! Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig und direkt am Meer. Genügend Liegen sind vorhanden. Man ist auch gleich im "Crazy Canucks", einer der Kneipen in San Pedro. Ambergris Caye ist natürlich ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für alle Wassersportarten.

Great place to stay in San Pedro. Close to everything. Food is awesome, try their nachos but be careful it is a huge plate. Chef approached us asking how’s food, very nice stuff. Owner asked us what could be improved. We enjoyed our stay!

Property was better than the current pictures they have online so we were pleasantly surprised. The doors and door handles to the rooms could use a little work, but the lock worked and the room was clean. Hot water was hit or miss and there is nowhere to hang your wet towels or clothes in the bathroom (but 1 peg on the back of the door) so we used the closet and hangers we had in our room. Overall we'd stay again.

The front desk staff was amazing. They were helpful and went above and beyond. The rooms can use some work. The could use updating of furniture and paint except for the mattress which was excellent. The pool had no chairs around it and could use painting as well. The beach area was decent although there were only 8-10 chairs and 3 hammocks. We had a top floor room and the WiFi barely reached our room making it hard to get on line.

Great front desk help
Was just there a night and price was right and service was exceptional. Especially Orelia at the front desk. I needed to drop off luggage early to go babysit and she not only let me do this she got me in early, even to a upgraded room, and in the morning was able to watch my luggage again after checkout as had more children to take care of. It made my stay.

Strandhotell, men vi kunde inte bada i havet på grund av orenheter som nog inte bara var just nu. Poolen ok. Trevlig promenad till centrum längst havet. Rummen trevliga och rena. Personalen mycket hjälpsamma.

When we first arrived, we found that our room had been double booked the front desk person put us in two separate rooms that accommodated us just fine for two nights. Because of the mixup they offered us breakfast coupons for two days. When our original room was ready, we were overjoyed exactly what we had asked for small apartment beachfront. The bar restaurant was amazing. We ate breakfast and lunches. Everything was very well prepared, and the drinks are amazing overall after the blunder of the overbooked room, the first two nights, Corona Del Mar was enjoyable.

Not only were the staff super friendly and the rooms clean, but I lost my passport and one of the staff tried to find me to return this to me. Amazing and honest! I will definitely return next year on the way to do my volunteer project with monkeys in Sartenja

We spent our entire 5 day stay without hot water in both rooms. On arrival our room door would not lock so they needed to move us. My sister’s TV was not working until they realized it was the remote batteries on the last day. Our TV’s connection was very poor and only worked for a few minutes at a time. Our Lobster Fest meal was served in a to-go container. The music was far too loud and there were complaints. The staff was very friendly and tried to help as much as they could but were unable to resolve our issues. The property is under new ownership so I hope they will be able to improve the hotel. It has great potential.
