The studio is within a minute of the ski hire shop & the local shopping centre. The lift to the slopes are next to these. It's about as close to the skiing as you're going to get.
I will say that most aspects of the studio were great. Everything worked, it was clean, well equipped, etc.
This makes it easier to talk about the things that were not so good. The concierge was shockingly bad. There were two people behind in the reception and two groups of people checking in. The process took almost an hour. As an idea of the incompetence, the first lady dealt (slowly) with the first part of the booking, whilst the second lady sat there doing nothing. Then the second lady dealt with the later part of the booking whilst the first lady sat there doing nothing. It's the worst booking in experience I've ever had and there's no need for it.
The lift is not very good either. It sometimes didn't respond to the button press. About a third of the time when I pressed to go to the second floor, it actually went down to the basement level and didn't open the door. Freaked my 11 year old daughter out.
I thoroughly recommend you stay at this apartment, but draw straws to decide who gets to check in, whilst the rest of you get drinks for an hour. Might also want to take the stairs...
