Ideal für Geschäftsreisende
ich war auf einer Geschäftsreise und habe dieses Hotel für eine Nacht gewählt. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlichen und das Einchecken war Sekundensache. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück absolut ausreichend und für jedem etwas dabei. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam Shuttle zum Strand konnte ich nicht nutzen aber von anderen Gästen gehört dass dies auch sehr gut funktioniert.

Ordentliches Hotel für Ausflüge
Das Hotel liegt in RAK und ist mit einm Shuttlebus mit dem Hotelstrand eines anderen Hilton-Hotels verbunden. Leider kann man als Gast des Doubletree keine Liegen reservieren, so dass man früh zum Strand fahren sollte. Ohne Mietwagen ist die Hotellage schwierig, da fußläufig nur wenig erreichbar ist. Die Hotelgastronomie ist durchschnittlich, das Abendbuffet wenig abwechslungsreich, aber akzeptabel. Die Bar auf dem Dach ist nett, der gegen 18.00 Uhr schließende Dachpool ebenfalls.

Ein eigentliches Geschäftshotel. Liegt etwa 1,5 km von der Beach entfernt, wo ein sehr grosses, neues Hilton Badehotel steht. Regelmässiger Shuttle-Service zu diesem Hotel. Man kann dort baden, essen, etc. und den Tag verbringen.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und ausgesprochen kinderlieb. Der Hotelmanager ist zuständig für Hilton Doubletree und dem Hilton Ras al Khaimah . Er war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns aus einer mißlichen Lage schnell und unkompliziert geholfen. Ein großes Lob und Dankeschön an ihn. Das Schwimmbad im Doubletree ist nicht richtig zum Schwimmen da, eher zum Planschen oder für eine gute Abkühlung gut. Allerdings ist der Fittnessraum recht gut ausgestattet. Es hat uns dort gut gefallen, doch nach ein paar Tagen der Erholung reicht es einem in Ras al Khaimah. Es wird dann doch recht eintönig, wenn man auch ein bißchen etwas erleben möchte ohne gleich große Touren zu buchen.

We were waiting for a long time at the elevator. I entered a room and did not find any towels or clothes hangers in it. The bathroom water was very dirty, the bidet was not working, and the shower also needed maintenance. Every time I asked him for a service, the receptionist told me that your reservation was not from the hotel’s website, even when I asked him. To add my stay to my membership so I can benefit from the points, he also told me the same response: I cannot because your reservation was not from the hotel’s website.

Staff was friendly, however since this was suppose to be a non smoking Hotel, some guest still smoked in the rooms and the smell is in the corridors but the staff could not enforce. The hotel is in dire need of renovations. Our room though upgrade to a junior suite, changed from Creek view to city view. The Shower room doors did not close, the kettle did not work and the lamp shades had fallen off. There was a layer of dust on the table legs. Though the top was clean.

The staff are really accommodating & friendly. They go out there way to help. The property is worn, & in some serious need of update. The pool is very shallow so don’t dive in. If this hotel had a face lift I would give it a 4* but as it’s very tired looking a 3*

Bad air-conditioning units, staff not cooperative
At first, staff were friendly and generous to offer an upgrade to our rooms. However, those room had an issue with the air conditioner and the staff could not solve it. We booked two rooms for one night only and we couldn't sleep. What was worse is that they have set the alarm in room to go off at 10AM while we couldn't sleep the whole night. At 11AM staff called to remind us that check out is at 12PM and when we asked to extend it for at least an hour due to the air conditioning issue; they simply refused and were not cooperative. This makes me think twice before staying at this hotel again to avoid repeating this bad experience again.

The hotel is very clean and spacious. But there is one man at the reception, im not sure if he is the supervisor or receptionist that he disrespect his customer. The receptionist lady was very good and she assisted me duting check in time, and she gave me a complimentary food as a welcome to thier guest. The thing is just about to give me the key of my room, and everything is done for the check in. And there is one guy came and ask her that which room you give? And the lady receptionist told him the room #, and he suddenly telling her that " NO, DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM, GO AND I WILL FIX IT", because there is one regular customer and he wants to priority them. The thing is ge must to apologize for me, as i heard everything in my front. Just next time try to be more professional when it comes on your customer either vip or not vip should be treat equally.

Last minute booking, great experience.

My stay was OK. It's a nice enough hotel. I had multiple issues with room service which either due to language barrier or a bad connection from my hotel room phone. The staff works hard and I appreciated that, but the service level is not what I would expect from a DoubleTree.
