Wir hatten dieses Hotel wegen der guten Hotelbewertungen und der tollen Bilder gebucht und hatten Aufgrund des hohen Preises auch entsprechendes Erwartet. Wir waren so enttäuscht, dass wir das Hotel verliesen und in ein anderes Hotel wechselten obwohl das Hotel bereits bezahlt war. Die Anlage ist runtergekommen, liegt außerhalb und ist sehr schwer zugänglich, der Strand war äußerst schmutzig und nicht schön - an schwimmen nicht zu denken, der Pool war kalt, die Einrichtung im Essensbereich schmutzig, fleckig und zerissen, der Willkommenstrunk wiederlich. Sonnenbaden am Strand war Aufgrund des Baumbestands kaum möglich, der auch den Blick auf das philippinische Meer versperrte. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist so schmutzig und runtergekommen, dass wir uns nicht wohl gefühlt haben. Das Hotel liegt so weit ab, Essen gab es nur im Hotel und auch sonst waren keine weiteren Aktivitäten möglich. Lediglich das Personal war sehr bemüht. Fazit: nicht empfehlenswert, wir werden dort nie wieder buchen!

The moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and cold drinks. It was a wonderful experience the entire stay. We will definitely be recommending Momo Beach House to friends. We went there to relax and tour the sites that the area had to offer, the friendly staff set up everything for us, it was an amazing time. Will visit again.

Хороший отель. Мы жили в номере Делюкс. Там есть всё – удобная кровать с хорошим постельным бельём, большая площадь номера, тапочки, душ, мыльные принадлежности. Хороший балкон, на котором можно ужинать и пить вино. Тихая, уединённая атмосфера. Хороший пляж. Есть свой домашний риф для снорклинга. В ресторане хороший повар, который готовит адаптированные для европейцев блюда. Словом, всё хорошо. Но есть небольшие моменты, которые портят общее впечатление. Эти моменты связаны с традициями местных жителей. Например, по отелю бегает стая диких собак, которые приходят в ресторан и садятся рядом со столиком, или начинают громко лаять в 3 часа ночи, или с лаем бегают днём вокруг шезлонга. Уборщики могут развести костёр из опавших листьев прямо перед окном комнаты и весь дым залетает прямо в открытое окно, потом дымом пахнут все вещи и бельё в комнате. Или в 7 утра может подъехать какая-то техническая машина, включить громко двигатель и производить шумные работы - в 7 утра!!! Если бы не подобные происшествия, то наше пребывание в отеле можно было бы назвать идеальным. Поэтому делайте скидку на местные условия жизни и смело бронируйте этот отель.

Not just close to the beach but step off the path and your on the beach, OK so it's a bit out of the way but that's clear from the description, there is a free shuttle bus to a lively but busy beach about 25 mins away. The staff were really good the food was very good and very reasonably priced too, just a nice relaxing place with beautiful views around the bay

아쉬움이 남는 숙소입니다.
처음 도착했을 때 풀장은 물론 마당, 비치에 있는 썬베드를 이용하는 사람들로 꽉차있어서 풀북인가 했는데, 저녁에 보니 낮에 보았던 사람들 중 실제 투숙객은 3~4명 정도였고 그외 열명이 넘는 외국인들은 전부 다른 숙소에 머물거나 지나가다 그냥 이용하는 사람들이었습니다. 아마도 썬베드 이용조건으로 모모비치 하우스에서 술 등을 팔아주는 조건이었을거 같은데 투숙객이 아닌 사람들이 풀과 마당, 비치쪽까지 전부 점령하고 있어서 이용을 제대로 하지를 못했네요. 서비스는 괜찮았으나 정작 투숙객들이 제대로 시설을 이용할 수 없는 상황인 것은 분명 개선되어야 할 거 같습니다. 18년 5월경에 필리핀 관광청으로부터 무상으로 여행협찬을 받은 파워블로거들이 받아먹고 적는 블로그에서 좋은 점만 가득 나열해 놓은거 같은데 그 글을 백퍼 다 신뢰하진 마시고 잘 선택하시기 바랍니다. 비치 앞 수중환경은 스노쿨링 하기에 좋았고, 숙소도 나름 깔끔하고 쾌적했습니다. 스노클링 때문에 다시 방문하고 싶기는 합니다만.. 앞서 기술한 것처럼 제가 방문한 날에 투숙객이 아닌 사람들이 숙소를 떼거지로 점령해서 나중에 그 사실을 알았을 때 기분이 상당히 나빴습니다. 그 외에 단점이라면 음식은 보통이었구요. 객실에 개미가 많습니다. 단음식은 개미들이 금방 몰려듭니다. 숙소 앞 비치는 제대로 관리가 되지 않아 떠내려온 부유물들이 해변가에 가득했구요. 그냥 있는 그대로의 자연상태를 좋아하신 다면 머무르실만 할듯하지만 깨끗하고 멋진 해변을 기대하셨다면 과감히 뒤로가기 버튼을 ^^

Awesome hotel staff, hotel condition needs work
Staff are awesome all the way to the Security. Access road needs work, signage to get to the hotel needs to be posted. The room needs work but it’s in livable condition. Location is by the beach but lots of sea weeds. Just keep your expectations low and you will have the best time with your stay. Quite and peaceful. Very relaxing ambiance. And again awesome staff with great service oriented approach.

A gem on the other side of the island
This hotel offers a serene place of relaxation. It is away from the crowds of Alona beach. All the staff from the cleaners to the manager were ever smiling and welcoming. We also enjoyed the free breakfast. They have free use of canoe and paddle board and also have free use of snorkeling gear. They even have a spot for snorkeling few feet away from the hotel beach area. The pool was very calming because of the view from where you lounged. Free shuttle runs twice that will take you to Alona beach and back. For a fee which is very reasonable, we arranged to be picked up at Tagbilaran airport and back. Highly recommended for middle aged couple and family.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME
My stay in this hotel was amazing! We arrived around 10PM and we were given with a warm welcome. Christine (she’s awesome) made us feel that this hotel will surely be our home for the next 3 days and nights with her greetings “Welcome home po sir.” This hotel is located in a quiet area, which I appreciate and love. It is 30mins trike ride to Alona Beach. Hotel can arrange a trike service upon your request. Though hotel provides free shuttle drop off and pick up, but on certain time schedule. I think 11AM and 5:30PM. After a long day of countryside tour and island hopping activities, there’s no better way to end the day than by swimming in their pool or get into their swings and relax by the beach and watch the sunset. This hotel also provides free kayak and snorkeling gear, even though we didn’t get to use it. Our hotel room was clean and smells good all the time. The water temperature (hot) was perfect. WiFi connection was OK. TV was ok. A/C was working fine. Nothing to complain about our room. I love the treats/delicacies (taste of Bohol) that they leave in our room every day. Lobby/Dining area. The ambiance was perfect. The kitchen/dining staff were very polite and you will feel their sincere Filipino hospitality. The security guards were helpful as well. CONS: - There’s not much sign on the streets that will lead you to this hotel. It was hard to find at night time. - Too many stray dogs, though they seem harmless.

This is on the quite side of the island and isolated. If you want to spend the day relaxing or return from tours to quite this the perfect place. They have a two for one happy hour, made a great margarita. All food from the kitchen was very good. Staff was more than helpful. Even got up at 4 am to make us our free daily breakfast for our early departure. The coffe was the best I've had in the phils, I like mine black so good coffe is s treat here. They had kayaks, badminton, volleyball, snorkeling gear, games, fuzz ball, played any music we wanted and a lively dance floor.

Séjour de 3 jours en famille. L'endroit est pittoresque et magnifique. Hotel à taille humaine. La plage donne sur un jolie lagon peu poissonneux. LA piscine est agréable. Le lieux est top avant de faire les visites de Bohol (Chocolate Hills). La cuisine est un régal. Nous avons écumé la carte et aucune fausse note. Tout les plats sont cuisinés en direct et excellents ! Le personnel est très gentil, souriant et disponible.

It was a pleasant stay, the place is really quiet and secluded, except for the road going there is very dark and looks like it still being developed. I hoped they clean the washed out seaweeds from the shore. Other than that food, staff and area is really good to have a relaxing weekend.

Chilled out hideaway
Perfect location for those who want to base themselves a little bit away from the hustle of Alona Beach. The tricycle ride to the actual hotel makes use of some off-road paths, but don't be concerned about your safety. We found every tricycle driver trustworthy, and the Philippines (outside of Manila anyway) very safe. This hotel only has wifi in their lobby (which is open air), and the internet service is pretty patchy/slow. Rooms were great, with the a/c very effective. I usually attract mosquitoes, but none entered our room at Momo Beach House. Service was excellent, the hotel staff will help you with booking a scooter if you would like one, and there is a free shuttle to their sister hotel in Alona Beach.

Nice experience in MoMo
The staffs were very friendly, they smiled to you all the time which makes you feel like home. The breakfast was good, and can be served on the beachside which is a bonus. The room is very clean with strong AC and stable hot water. The hotel provides free kayak and standing paddle. We didn't swim in the MoMo beach beacuse there are quite a lot of sea weeds, but the hotel pool is a good option. There are no restaurants nearby except eating in the hotel. We eat in Alona every night as you can find everything there (restaurants, bars, tours ..) it only takes 15 mins to Alona by car. We have no difficulty finding tuktuk when we end up late in Alona back to the hotel (around 150-200 php) There are two free shuttle services to their sister resort (Amorita) locating in Alona Beach at 11am / 5pm. We can enjoy the private pool in Amoirta as they belong to the same company. Amazing view at pool & great food.

Best Hotel Staff yet
The Momo Beach House is a very personally oriented hotel. They put our names on a blackboard and welcomed us with a typical local drink. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a nice, small pool, hamocks and the rooms are very clean and alright equiped. The location of the hotel is in the more busy area of the island. With only a few minutes walk you are in an area with loads of restaurants and bars (especially busy at night).

Momo Beach is situated in a very remote area of Panglao. Despite the location, I think it's one of the best places to stay at if you want to experience a hotel with a personal touch. The hotel is small but the staff (edzel and Karen) have the biggest heart. They attended to all our needs and made sure everything is okay as soon as we checked in. Food was great - everything they served was fantabulous! Hot chocolate in the morning is a must. The water in the pool was warm. Everything about this hotel is great - even the stray cat was friendly! The beach had a lot of weeds, however if you ask why then you'd understand why the beach is not pristine on that side of town. I have high regards for people who like to keep their surroundings as natural as possible. There's really nothing to complain about this place. If you're the type of person who like huge, modern resort type hotel, then this may not be the place for you. However, you're missing out on the personal touch, friendliness and warmth of Momo's staff. Will consider staying here again....

Amazing getaway!
Absolutely secluded island retreat. Took quite a road to get here, but never wanted to leave. The staff was absolutely top-notch. Very welcoming. Very accomodating. After a busy day touring Bohol, we were greated the same way we were on arrival. Rooms are luxurious and large. Bathroom is the same. We loved this place and will definitely be back!

Vi ankom til Momo Beach, og blev taget rigtig godt imod. Servicen er helt i top. Selve resortet ligger langt ude og helt for sig selv. Ønsker man liv, bør man søge efter resorts omkring Alona Beach. Det skal dog siges at Momo Beach samarbejder med et stort resort på Alona Beach, hvor man om morgenen og aftenen kan transporteres gratis imellem, og benytte deres facilitere gratis. Der tilbydes kun Wifi i selve receptionen/restauranten. Maden er ikke i en særlig høj kvalitet og meget lidt udvalg, hvilket er en skam idet man ikke blot kan gå et andet sted hen som på Alona Beach.

Мы с женой останавливались на Панглао на 9 ночей, из них на 8 ночей - в этой гостинице. Нам очень понравилось отношение к гостям гостиницы, все сотрудники были вежливы, предупредительны и очень радушны, их тепло очень чувствовалось. Из минусов: отель находится вдали от Алона Бич, если нравится движуха - лучше жить поближе к Алоне. В Момо Бич Хаусе будет спокойно, засыпать будете под звук прибоя и шелест пальм (на Алоне будет более шумно). Есть бесплатный шатл на Алону, туда в 11, обратно в 5 вечера, мы так и ездили, ныряли через seaquest, очень рекомендуем - достаточно низкие цены при очень высоком качестве обучения и сопровождения при погружениях. У владельцев Момо Бич Хауса есть гостиница Аморита (честные 4*) на Алоне, всей инфраструктурой можно пользоваться на тех же условиях, что и постояльцам Амориты.
