Tolles Hotel inmitten eines Naturschutzgebietes
Ein schönes Hotel, gut gelegen, das Buffet einfach nur fantastisch, Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich, es werden Elefanten Safaris angeboten - dieses Hotel kann man auf jeden Fall unbedingt empfehlen.

Einfach wunderbar. Die grosszuegige Anlage ist genauso liebevoll gestaltet, wie die Häuser mit den Zimmern. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Essen wunderbar. Top Komfort, toller sauberer Pool. Security extrem gut, aber dennoch stets sehr höflich. Die Affen sind harmlos und immer wieder lustig zu beobachten, besonders, wenn sie an der Bar die Früchte klauen. Tolles Hotel!

Hotel mit Dschungelatmosphäre
Sehr schöne Anlange mit tollem Pool - wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker - für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei , egal ob man Curry oder lieber europäisch essen möchte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und haben sich um alle unsere Wünsche gekümmert !

Das Cinnamon Lodge in Habarana gehört zu besten auf meiner Reise. Das Büffet ist vorzüglich und sehr vielfältig, da es europäische, ostasiatische und indisch-ceylonesische Speisen umfasst. Die Lage ist für Ausflüge nach Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa und Anuradhapura ideal. Das Hotel liegt inmitten einer parkartig gestalteten Anlage an einem See. Zwar ist Wassersport außer Bootsfahrten nicht möglich, doch bewohnen zahlreiche Tierarten die Anlage. Ich erfreute mich vor allem am Treiben zweier Affenhorden.

Wunderschönes Resort mit traumhaftem Park
Wir waren rundherum zufrieden mit unserem Bungalow mit Blick auf den See und haben unseren Aufenthalt, dank des vorzüglichen Essens, des unglaublich schönen Parkgeländes und dem ausgezeichneten Service genossen. Die Lage ist perfekt (allerdings hatten wir einen Fahrer) um die Sehenswürdigkeiten (Sigaryia, Damulla, Nationalparks etc.) morgens anzusehen und den Mittag im Park oder am tollen grossen Pool zu verbringen. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen.

Very friendly staff across the board. Great location to reach day trips to Sigiriya, Pollonaruwa, Anuradhapura, Dambulla, and safari/hiking, etc. and unwind/relax at the pool/spa. Lakefront is great for reading or for a morning jog. Rooms/facilities are new and well maintained. Staff goes over and beyond to make your stay comfortable.

The property is old, the monkeys and stray dogs is an issue. The food was a huge selection, the desserts looked nice, but only few items are great. The Shisha/ Hookah was too old and the bar staff did not know how to operate the shisha/ hookah for that price. They only placed one coal. There are snakes.

Our experience at Cinnamon Lodge was excellent. The staff in particular was very attentive as they always made sure we were well taken care of. Room facilities were great as well. Breakfast and dinner buffet spreads were amazing with tons of flavour made and our tastebuds happy.

This lodge exceeded my expectations. Big comfy bed with fluffy pillows, best food in Sri Lanka with local sourced buffet. They called to check on me after settling in, provided umbrellas, and surprised me with an artful safari display. Wish I stayed another few days. Pool and lakeside view lovely. The homemade soursop ice cream was heaven in a cone!

Like staying in a tropical garden
This is a very special hotel. It lies in a huge garden with a string of small lakes running through the grounds. There are lots of monkeys running around and lots of huge birds in the trees. It is quite a long walk from the reception to the (furthest) rooms, so not good if you are disables. There is a very large pool and a very large restaurant. There are also a lot of activities on the grounds. It was a pity that we were only staying from sundown to early morning.

Fabulous hotel - especially for nature lover

What a place!
Hotel is beautiful and staff is so nice. I have been to this place 25+ years ago and the place is still so beautiful. Reminds me of how Sigiriya was back I the days. Villas and blended into the garden and so peaceful. Staff is so warm and welcoming! Definitely coming back!

A beautiful place.staff couldn’t do enough for us.Very clean. The only thing was the food was not hot.

We keep going to this little gem of a place. Cinnamon Lodge has never disappointed us, the cuisine is excellent, spotless rooms in peaceful surroundings. Very helpful and courteous staff. When we booked, we had an offer of a free safari and late checkout but the hotel wasn't aware of this. Please make sure your offers are known to the hotel, so that the guests are not disappointed. We highly recommend this fabulous hotel, closer to Sigiriya rock, Polonnaruwa, Minneriya nature reserve etc. We look forward to be there again, in the near future. P.s. COVID regulations are well managed and every precaution is taken to keep the guests safe at this hotel.

The guy cleaning our rooms couldn’t do more he was very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area . He had been working at the hotel for 37 years what an asset to the hotel.

Lovely relaxing location with plenty of room for nature walks. Staff very helpful and food is a delight. Lovely pool. It is our favourite hotel break in Sri Lanka.

Top class hotel that is balanced in its natural surroundings. Rooms were large and modern. food was buffet style but plenty of variety and good quality. Very large swimming pool but limited on sun loungers and sunbathing space! But to be honest this didn’t bother me because I was there to use the hotel as abase so I could explore the surrounding area
