Wonderful. Clean ,well equipped and quiet. We were out all day and got in very late the first night. When you get to what you think is the end of the road, keep going and look for number 5. Newly paved road through the trees. The barn is the biggest building. Excellent stay.

Beautiful Amish Getaway
The stay was wonderful and the family is very inviting. We loved waking up to find treats left outside our door every morning. The property is very well kept and immaculate. If you want a quiet place to wind-down, then this is the spot for you.

Wonderful getaway!
We had a wonderful time at this farm stay. Miriam was so helpful in getting us settled. The property is beautiful, and she even let us pick fresh flowers from her garden. There are animals to pet, and a great sunset to enjoy. The apartment was immaculately cleaned and beautifully decorated. We would definitely go back again! The fresh eggs and parfaits for breakfast were delicious.

48 year anniversary
Miriam made different cookie/deserts and left them outside the door each morning, very good. Highly recommend for a stay will try to be back next year. Can't say enough in this short text, but very very impressed, should get a 10 star rating. Clean, quiet rural setting that made leaving the only issue!!! Wanted to stay longer!

Quier and Relaxing
The apartment lovely, cozy and had all the amenities you could ask for. The property has amazing views, is peaceful and inviting. We made use of the new firepit just for their guests, we even cooked our dinner on it one evening. We had a very relaxing few days, just what we needed. We are already schedule to come back.

Tranquility and peacefulness
This is our third stay at the Lapp Family apartment and it did not disappoint. We stay here because it is a restful place to relax after a long day of visiting with our families. We also enjoyed meeting some of the newest additions to their barnyard….and as usual….everyone greets us with a big smile or a wave. We plan our mini vacations around being able to stay at your homestead….looking at a possible stay in October but time will tell if we can. Thank you again for all of our special treats….it made our coffee taste even better than ever. May God Bless your family….we hope to see you again….soon!

God's Country
Our stay was incredible, by far the best bed and breakfast experience. It was simply beautiful, one of the most relaxing, comfortable homes that we have stayed at. Waking up to the delicious bake goods that greeted us each morning along with the rooster calling out a cheerful good morning hello. We experience a beautiful Pennsylvania sunset outside by the fire pit. We certainly hope to make it out again and without a doubt will book here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

Relaxing, quiet getaway!
We were in PA to visit family and needed a place nearby to stay during our time there. We are so glad that we chose to stay here! It was easy to find and the property is beautiful. It was nice to have a place that was quiet, relaxing, and peaceful at the end of the day so that we could talk or read before bedtime. The apartment has everything that you could need and all of the little touches were included, which was great. Miriam was very pleasant to communicate with and was very welcoming and friendly. The treats she left for us every morning were delicious! Highly recommend staying here.

Little slice of heaven
The property is breathtaking from the drive into the woods the serenity begins. When you get to the end of the driveway the views are just beautiful. There is something so peaceful about the surroundings. The room itself feels like you are at a spa vacation. The tub was awesome! We had our anniversary dinner at a nearby restaurant the bluebird inn and the food was wonderful. If you need a place to escape the day to day hustle and bustle this it because it’s close enough to everything yet feels like you’re in a secluded hideaway. We hope to return in the fall season. Thanks Miriam for the wonderful daily treats!

Hidden Gem
Words don’t even describe how beautiful this place is. If you are looking to escape for awhile, this is the perfect venue. I grew up in the area and often come back to visit - who knew this was hiding in the woods. A long time friend also stopped by to stay over and we were able to catch up and relax. Every detail was thought of in the planning - the extra touch was Miriam’s homemade treats that arrived each morning. Highly recommend. I know I will be coming to stay here again.
