Room was acceptable with most amenities except a coffee machine which is listed as being in the room. It was not provided. When I asked at reception I was told coffee machines had never been put in. This was a requirement for me when booking a hotel. I found the room quite cold too.Beds comfortable and we slept well.

good visit
on the whole a good visit, staff were friendly, room was good and clean, only thing was the fridge was a bit naff. It wasn't switched on when I got there and after I worked out how to switch on it never really got cold. But a small detail in the overall visit

I wouldn't hesitate to book again..
the hotel was super, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and our easy-access rooms on the ground floor were ideal.. also, with limited mobility we were so happy to find a free disabled parking spot directly outside the hotel doors, the carpark over the roundabout would have been such a struggle.. the bar person was friendly and helpful, and realised my son had been communicating on messenger with him for information prior to our visit, thank you.. the rooms were warm and comfortable, shower/bathrooms spotless, and breakfast was plentiful, although we must admit, the self-made waffle was too huge to eat!

Overpriced App
Reception, bar/restaurant staff were fantastic. Said about the company I booked with was very expensive overpriced. Breakfast was double the price of the app. And book breakfast at £12.50 when you get to hotel. All good apart from that. NO issues with Sunderland fans while they played at home. All nice friendly people in the bar.

No complaints on the hotel itself, staff were Freindly, and what I expected. Only real issue which was my error was the location, you need a taxi to get anywhere as other than the stadium which to be fair it’s what it there for, there is nothing else near. Parking pretty straight forward also.

It was ok. It took 5 days (of 11) for them to respond to the fact the air conditioning (in a room with no opening windows) was broken and for them to move us rooms. When they did it was much better and gave us some drinks vouchers which was kind. It’s ok for a Hilton- but defo not one of the best.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and really like it. Although the parking is slightly inconvenient, the closeness makes it alright. My only issue this time was I don’t think the bath tub was cleaned very well. There was quite a bit of dust around which I think was from and already dusty cloth used to clean it. It was washed off so was fine. But slightly disappointed by that to be honest

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sunderland, fantastic hotel. Very clean throughout and always a pleasant experience. Food is particularly great, especially the choice at breakfast.

Although I found the room good. .the staff where veey friendly & helpful The only grouse was the choice of food was limited. As a older lady the meals where to much for my small appetite .
