We have stayed in many hotels over the past 15 years in NYC. This one by far is our very favorite. The staff was top notch. The hotel was very clean. It was convenient to many locations. We will definitely plan on staying here again.

Friendly and helpful service. Great location to travel from downtown to uptown easily via transit and walking.

The hotel staff welcomed us and provided a good care of us. The cleaning lady was absolutely wonderful, whenever she met us in the hall she would always ask how was it in our room and if we needed anything. The feeling that you’re cared was constant. A great service!

The hotel staff were nice and the room was spacious. The location is very close to the subway, so that was nice. The negative is that the room was dated with no screen on the window and the "facility fee" was a rip off since there were no real facilities to use. If I hadn't had to pay the facility fee, I would have been much happier.

This is our third stay in the San Carlos, its a wonderful hotel, we asked to switch rooms because they one we had reserved ended up feeling too small. They changed us to a bigger room for a special price. And ended up not charging us for a rollaway bed. I will always stay here if I can. The only negative, is that while extremely well kept, it is due for a renovation. It feels a little bit tired. Also, they used to offer continental breakfast included in the room price, not anymore.

My sin and did his senior trip together and stayed here- it amwas absolutely fantastic- the satff were always so kind and attentive!!! Will most definitely choose this place again on my next trip here!!

This hotel was great, considering it is in the heart of Manhattan. We could walk to everything. The water pressure was not great and could use some updating but still a great hotel. We got a really good price on it too through a package.

Ideally located , walking distance to many attractions. Friendly staff, clean and overall had a pleasant stay. Would definitely come back.

The hotel is in a great location in Midtown Manhattan. a 10-15 minute walk to theaters, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, shopping, transportation, restaurants and more. It’s just iff the beaten path enough to be in a neighborhood atmosphere, with plenty of options for food, coffee and drinks nearby. The room was large, clean and with plenty of amenities and the hotel staff was friendly and welcoming.
