Die Zimmer sind klein aber zum schlafen reicht es. Es ist eher wie ein hostel aufgebaut. Ich würde definitiv ein Zimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer buchen. Wir konnten alles gut zu Fuß erreichen die Metro ist auch 2/3 min zu Fuß entfernt. Trotzdem ist es ruhig.Wer nicht viel luxus braucht ist hier gut aufgehoben. Wir würden es wieder buchen.

Rooms are small, but perfect when you're out all day and need a nice place to spend the nights. there's everything you need and the room was very clean. Good location as you only walk about 20 minutes to Times Square and Broadway, the subway station is just a 5 minute walk away.

Der Service in den ersten Tagen war sehr gut, leider kam ist durch Reinigungsarbeiten, Asbest Sanierung, festgestellt nach Contamination der 53. Strasse auf das Virtel sich erstreckte und dann am 30.Dez gegen 4 Uhr der Baulärm begann und das warm Wasser abgestellt wiurde,

Die Unterkunft ist zwar einbisschen in die Jahre gekommen, teilweise auch sehr ringhörig, jedoch mit Ohropax sehr gut machbar. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, es wurden jeden Tag die Handgücher erneuert und das Bett frisch gemacht. Das Hotel liegt wenige gehminuten von der 5th Aven. entfernt, gabz in der nähe hat es meherer Subway Stationen. Würde es sofort wieder Buchen!!

Die Wahl der Unterkunft war ein Volltreffer. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super, das Einchecken ging schnell, alle Mitarbeiter am Empfang waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer war sauber, eines der 4 Gemeinschaftsbäder / WC war immer verfügbar und v.a. waren sie immer sauber, das Zimmer war ruhig, von anderen Gästen hat man fast nichts mitbekommen, hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Matratze (habe selten so gut geschlafen). Die nächste Metro ist ca. 2 Minuten entfernt und rund um das Hotels gibt es viele Restaurants und Supermärkte. Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, daher empfehle ich Hotel gerne und aus Überzeugung und werde beim nächsten Mal gerne wieder dort buchen!!

Greta value for the location. Walkable distances to Grand Central, Central-Park and many other sightseeing highlights. Rooms were tiny but the available space is used perfectly. Ask for rooms in a corner of the building, as you get two windows which is perfect for some fresh air. Rooftop area is great to have a drink or pizza or breakfast and to have a nice view to the surrounding buildings. Great and friendly staff made our stay perfect.

We stayed 10 days in Pod51. The location is perfect to explore Manhattan and the surrounding. The rooms are small but nothing you don’t know before booking. It is clean and friendly. If you like to, your room will be cleaned every day. But the cleaning staff will place everything which is on your bed or near the sink anywhere else in the room. Very uncommon cleaning procedure. We always found our PJ‘s anywhere on the desk just thrown on our other stuff. Then the hotel itself is not very quiet. The walls are very thin and you hear everything from outside your room. Additionally the AC from other rooms or buildings were really loud as the windows do not block any sound.

Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig und dadurch sehr laut. Viel Geschrei auf dem Flur in der Nacht. Klimaanlage ist sehr alt und laut. Das Fenster lässt sich nur mühsam öffnen.

I checked in late and fell right asleep. When I woke up there was a cockroach on my bedsheet by my chin, and when I jumped up I saw another one just disappearing behind the bed, and found another roach dead by the table in the room. I stayed at other Pods a few times and never had such an issue as I did at Pod51. I will NEVER stay here again super nasty.

Cute, friendly hotel with a very comfortable bed. Perfect location. One downside: while my room had a private bathroom, it was across the hall from the shared bathroom and I had trouble falling asleep due to all of the noise of people going in and out and slamming the door.

Paid over a thousand for my stay. The hallway of the floor where my room was located was being painted. The noise of the work the workers were doing didn’t let me sleep; it was too loud; and the paint gave me allergies, so I couldn’t enjoy my trip.

The room I got had no ac just a radiator. I tend to get really hot, so I had to open the windows. Which isn’t bad this time of year, though the building across the street could totally look in. Thank goodness there was shutters. Also the shower sliding door was off its track, but my husband set it back on so it works now. It’s perfect for a little getaway in the city. The amenities like the tv and clock are outdated. But regardless of that it’s a perfect little gem in NYC and I’d recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want the frills of a hotel and just a nice quaint place to rest while exploring the city.
