Good stop over
Found the room ok, clean, good size TV & very clear, do notthink a place like this should have fridge full of pay able drinks. Exhaust fan could not handle the steam. Had an excellent meal in rest, Flathead & porthouse were excellent

Good motel, not so good bed
The motel was clean and tidy and the room was a decent size however the bed appeared collapsed in the middle which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep or lack there of.

Large, comfortable room with extra
Although the rooms are a little faded, they have everything you’d expect plus more. Two small couches, a 4 person table and chairs, good lighting, a microwave, kettle and toaster. Plus a good quality on site restaurant.

We only stayed one night but it was clean comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and chatty, which makes for a nice welcome. We didn't get to the restaurant because we decided to go for a walk and didn't make it back. We would stay again if we are down that way again.

Beautiful property at a fabulous location. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great restaurant. The only thing is that the rooms (whilst clean) are looking quite aged and tired and need refurbishment. The AC was loud and clunky and did not work very well, unfortunately. But overall for the price, it was just what we needed for our over night stay travelling to Victoria.

The owners of the hotel gave away our room to a tour company as they 'requested rooms at the last minute'. The hotel forced us to stay at another hotel without even bothering to call us and notify us before we arrived. There was nothing we could do, and there were no alternatives offered. I heard from the other hotel that in total, 6 groups of individual bookings were treated the same way. Unacceptable.

Hi, We are truely sorry for any inconvenience that was caused, we were advised of the extra number on the coach tour a matter of hours before you arrived. We had no choice but to find an alternative for you so as to keep the coach group together. We relocated you to the nearest motel (1Km) away, had there been options we would have provided them but it was the only motel with availability and of course we absorbed the price difference. I apologise that you were impacted, this was an exceptional circumstance and not standard practice. Comfortable and pleasant with good reverse-cycle air con. Bathroom recently updated. Microwave provided which was a bonus. I would stay at this motel again - it is good for travellers, although not luxurious.

We received a warm welcome and our room had recently had a bathroom renovation. Unfortunately the room next door was being upgraded and the noise of old tiles being removed with a small jack hammer continued all afternoon. Dinner in the restaurant was enjoyable as was breakfast the next day.
