We stayed 4 nights in this lovely place and didn't wanna leave. The staff makes you feel like being a part of the family, so that we felt home straight away. The room is clean and tidy. The comfy bed with a stunning view out of the dschungel, makes it cosy. Even in the rain season, we would recommend to stay. It's a calm and green place where you can relax and enjoy the play of the rain outside during your stay in your little oasis of peace.
The food in the restaurant is excellent and the service perfect. We even did a cooking class and could learn a lot about local food.
The reception gave us good advise what to do around Munduk and helped us to rent a scooter and even organised a great message in the hotel for us as it was to rainy to drive to the village. We also felt like they don't try to get the most money out of you, which was quiet refreshing. We also could wash our laundry for free in the private washing area.
Basically we felt welcome in all our needs and would love to come back. So don't hesitate and miss the chance to make your holidays special.
If you stay longer than two nights (!), try to rent a scooter and cruise around. That's the best way to get to know the locals and find hidden spots.
It's not just worth it in the main season. Join the wet season here as well - it's a very special experience to slow down life and learn something about the life of the locals in this period of the year.
Gut: All in all a win. The view, the room, the food and the service.
Nicht so gut: Stay as you are.
Lage: Close to Munduk. You can drive to Lovina, the hot springs and the buddistic temple. See a lot of waterfalls, explore the lakes and the mountains.
