Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, es roch schlecht und wurde zwischendurch nicht gereinigt. Das Hotel liegt außerhalb von Manchester. Die Betten waren einfach schlecht. Positiv war das Frühstück für 7,- Preis / Leistung war wirklich ok. Die Bar, für ein abendliches Getränk, war ganz nett.

Nice hotel to visit Manchester
Budget hotel, but quite ok. The hotel is not the newest, but beds were good and everything worked. Extremely friendly and helpful guys at the front desk. In general we found the people in Manchester very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nothing outstanding, but all we needed. The hotel is a 5 minutes walk from the train station, from the tram station and from a supermarket. Not the nicest surrounding, but ok. In actual fact the village centre, which is 5 minutes from the hotel, looks quite lovely, but seems to have been abandoned in recent years. Tip: use tram to go to Manchester. On weekends you get a quite cheap weekend ticket which you can use from Friday evening till Sunday evening.

Das Hotel ist sehr verstreut im großen Gebäude. Lift stoppt nur in den Zwischenstockwerken. Zimmer sind sehr einfach. Frühstück ist nicht besonders, in Buffetform aber geringe Auswahlmöglichkeit.

Saubere Hotel zu einem guten Preis
Sauberes Hotel. Liegt zwar etwas außerhalb, aber für den Preis top. Man ist mit der Bahn innerhalb von 15 Minuten im Stadtzentrum. Lebensmittelladen sind auch in der Umgebung und das Zimmer ist sauber.

Hotel liegt sehr zentral zur tram und zum train!
Schöne Zimmer mit neuen Möbeln und Bad! Von außen wird man nicht solche zimmer erwarten! Frühstück ist ok und für 6£ völlig ok! Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt.

Hotel rooms were basic, limited furniture and storage spaces. No bottles of water and only two sachets of coffee, tea and milk. Hard bed and two flat pillows. The breakfast restaurant area was very nice and laid out nice. The breakfast was also nice and has a range of selection of fruit, yogurt and full breakfast. Don’t think I will stay again but overall it was nice

Constant banging doors, surely could easily be fixed with slow close doors?! WiFi didn’t work at all throughout the stay and with bad signal in the building this was really annoying.

The bed was broken which meant we had poor sleep, on top of that the fire alarm went off once on the first morning at around 8 am and 7-10 times the second morning from around 3 am keeping us up constantly not being able to get back to sleep quick enough because of the uncomfortable broken bed. some of the furniture in the room was old and tattered and disgusting and I constantly felt itchy and ended up with a few bug bites on my back from sleeping. The tv reception was awful and there are exposed pieces of metal from an old hinge right above the bed which both me and my partner have both caught our hands on I cut my hand on it. This morning when the fire alarm was repeatedly going off I went downstairs at around 5 am and the member of staff couldn’t understand me when I was requesting a refund. Severely disappointed and unhappy with my stay here and would definitely like a refund.

It doesn’t look like much on the outside but inside is very clean and has everything you’d need. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

We had to check out after 1 night due to the condition of the hotel. The lift and stairwells are filthy with sick stains on the carpet and extremely poor level of decoration. There were signs in the lift stating - these are lifts and not bins, stop leaving your rubbish in here and find a bin - incidentally there were no bins available. When I raised my concerns with the reception they said that they could not refund our remaing days and I needed to complain to Expedia. The car park was not secure; there was a barrier to enter but there were areas where you could access the car park without using this. The building is shared by a job centre and there are signs for university lecture rooms and offices and no dedicated entrance to the hotel. My partner did not feel safe staying here due to so many safeguarding issues around and within the building. I would up load pictures but there is not a facility to do this. The Expedia description of the hotel does not state that the building is shared and not dedicated to the hotel.

I only stayed a night the parking facilities were on point. Had a really good nights sleep. The water is very hot just how I like it and breakfast was really tasty. Had to drive back to London and the breakfast filled me up.

Receptionist very welcoming. Room smart and clean. Unfortunately Mattress needs replacing as could feel the springs. Good breakfast and staff all friendly and efficient on day of departure. Would book again.

Water too hot!
Hotel Staff was friendly. Location was convenient with a supermarket just across the road. Rooms were big and comfortable. Only sore point was that the temperature of the hot water could not be adjusted lower and the water was scalding. Funny isn't it as the usual complaint was not getting hot water instead of not getting colder water :).

There was a very little sign to tell you where the entrance of the car park was, and at night it was very hard to see it. The room it self was good and clean. In our second night the fire alarm went off (1am). There was a lot of confusion, people were come into the passage way, not knowing weather it was a fire, as the alarm was going off then stopping, we decided to get of our room and go downstairs, as we were on floor 13 we used the lift, as my wife could not do one flight of stairs. When we go into the main entrance, some people were outside and a lot stayed inside, at this stage there were not hotel staff around, the front desk was unmanned, there was a person trying to reset the alarm, he just kept pushing the reset button, but that didn’t stop him continuing to press this button. After 10 minutes 2 members of staff arrived, there were running around like a headless chicken. In the end a person staying at the hotel told the person what the problem was, he told him to push the alarm to silence the alarm, it turned out to be a alarm button on the 5th floor had been broken. At this stage no one went to check this was the problem, no one ever spoke to us, or check to see if everyone was here, or where our meeting place was, at no time had the fire or police been called, to check that it was a false alarm. There needs to be training for these people running this hotel, it was a complete mess.
