We stayed for just one night, but the staff was extremely friendly, very nice food at he restaurant and a nice little pool in the garden.

The staff at this property are amazing. I had to leave before breakfast was open so they made me a continental breakfast the night before so I would have something to eat before I leave. I did have to ask about the air conditioning as it had to be turned on centrally before it would work in my room, but again the staff were very accommodating and helpful.

It is the perfect place for value and comfort.
The location is perfect, beach is only a few steps away, a supermarket is next door, and public transportation is only 2 blocks away. Small and intimate resort with its own restaurant serving a large variety of international dishes as well as pizza.

Not my kind of place, 4 starts? No way, location at fishermans beach, nothing in the area except a small supermarket. Small rooms and a small pool. I must admit that tje foood was very good

Es un hotel muy Creole y con las comodidades necesarias y un internet bueno tiene playa cercana aunque no es de las mejores de la isla pero esta situado en posición céntrica en la isla lo que les va a facilitar rápido acceso a cualquier playa.servicio:solo un hotel de esta naturaleza puede prestar un servicio tan bueno con caritas sonrientes todo el dia.,quede muy contento y volveré

Comfy rooms and great food
The restaurant is excellent and has a wide range of fish dishes. The rooms were clean and the hotel is walking distance to a bus stop and to the beach.

Hyggeligt lille sted med fransk islæt
Vi havde et dejligt ophold her, det er skønt sted med små, fine værelser og venligt personale. Der er også en pool, det vidste vi ikke, den er også ret ny, men nøj hvor det var lækkert. Den brugte vi hver morgen og nogle gange også inden vi spiste aftensmad i restauranten. Ejeren, Michael, er super flink og hjælpsom. Vi tog på et par dagsture bl.a. Til Barbaron og Anse Takamake ellers er der ikke så meget andet lige i området end en udemærket strand og det skønne hotel og gode restaurant. Vi spiste rigtig godt her :) og fik også en dejlig morgenmad her hver dag.

Petit hôtel très sympa dans le quartier des pêcheurs de Anse Boileau. Chambre soignée et propre. Accueil chaleureux et restaurant de l'auberge très bon! Je recommande!!

Small friendly hotel close to beach
We really enjoyed our stay. We were celebrating our golden wedding anniversary and this hotel made the occasion very special for us. We also enjoyed the special meal/party event on New Years Eve. All the staff were very friendly and helpful

owner wont honour pre-paid booking.
horrible service, pathetic!!! booking was prepaid by hotels.com, but when we got there the owner said he sold our room to someone else. arranged another hotel for us to stay, on 2nd day he insisted we must go back to auberge. we refused, saying we cant pack n unpack everyday, spoils a holiday. after that he got his staff to keep pestering us to move back to his hotel. to top it all he didnt pay new hotel for our stay, only after police got involved did he sort it out. pathetic to say the least.

Hello sir, Thanks for your feedback, but I also feel we must explain the story with all facts, since some of what you have stated is not correct. 1. We did not oversell your room, we actually had a guest refusing to leave and insisting on staying in the room allocated to you, and which our staff wrongly allowed, at the same time as you were checking in. 2. Our staff offered you an alternative for one night, but when I arrived at the hotel, you had moved and I actually still asked the other guest to leave, since they had no booking. 3. When you came to see me an hour later, I suggested to you that you can move back, at which point you said no, you would prefer to stay at the other place. Even though you knew the other place had no space for you on the last night and you would have to move back to us, you insisted on staying there, so we allowed it. We paid your entire bill at the other location, even though it was more than what we were prepaid for ours. 3. You were additionally offered a free dinner, accepted our gesture with thanks, but then never had it. 4. You stayed the last night and when we spoke, you were satisfied with the outcomes. 5. At no time were the police EVER involved, and I challenge you to produce a police report supporting your claim, as stating something like this is completely false and could be considered slander. 6. I know all of this, and despite the fact you have posted this commentary anonymously, we understand who you are, as we do not have events like this very often and this is fresh around the new year period. We are sincerely sorry for the initial problem we had with your room on checkin, but also wish to state that we made every effort to satisfy your needs. The room you initially booked also remained empty during the time you stayed at the other location. Again we are sincerely sorry for your experience.

Hello Moses, Thank you very much for your feedback, although I feel it is important to fully tell the story of your stay so that our readers understand what transpired. You reserved accommodation with us prior to reserving your plane flights. You then could not make the full stay with us as your plane arrived two days after your stay with us began, hence these two nights were wasted on your part. At the real conclusion of your stay, you wanted to stay an additional night because again, you did not get the departure plane tickets right. We could not accommodate you on that last evening because we were already fully booked. You left when we found you accommodation nearby for your last night. We are sincerely sorry for your experience, but suggest that next time you take a holiday, you reserve your place tickets first before you book a hotel, so that you can get everything to correspond properly in order to enjoy your holiday.

si tratta di una guest house e non di un albergo. le cose essenziali presenti, ma per esempio manca il frigo bar nelle camere. letti comodi, personale cortese. durante il nostro soggiorno stavano interrando una piscina nel giardino, per cui un po' di disagio ma niente di più. carino il ristorante dove viene servita cucina creola e la colazione al mattino. gentili e disponibili i proprietari. la struttura si trova in un villaggio accanto ad un market e un ambulatorio medico. di fronte una spiaggia lunghissima che invita a belle passeggiate. la popolazione locale, sempre gentile e sorridente.

MARAVILHOSA GERENTE DANIA
Adorei minha estadia em Chez Plume, apesar de ter tido um inconveniente com minha companhia (o que não tem nada a ver com o Hotel), a gerente Dania fez de tudo para me ajudar, procurando um outro hotel e até ligando para vários estabelecimentos. No final, acabei ficando no mesmo hotel, porém em outro quarto. Estava com dificuldades, porque não falo bem o Inglês, tinha perdido meu celular e meu cartão de crédito (viagem tem dessas coisas :/ ), a gerente foi o meu anjo, porque me deixou usar até o computador da empresa para falar com meus familiares. Ela também arrumou janta para mim após o encerramento da cozinha (comida deliciosa) :P e providenciou um café da manhã pra mim porque sairia bem cedo, antes de iniciar o café da manhã do hotel. Até me acordar, porque não tinha nenhum despertador, a Dania fez, às 6h30 ! Resumindo, eu poderia ter odiado minha estadia por conta de tantas coisas desagradáveis que tinham acontecido comigo, mas fiquei tranquilo e ela fez de tudo para me ajudar em tudo o que lhe pedia. Um grande abraço para a Dania e um grande abraço a todos do CHEZ PLUME.

Expensive for what you get
The good: The owner, Michael, was really friendly and helpful. Our first room was right next to the road and they moved us. As recompense, we were given glasses of wine with dinner. He also printed out our boarding passes for us. He is planning a major upgrade and the place is charming with plenty of potential. The not so good: The websites we checked showed this guesthouse having a TV and coffee/tea making but it had neither. The TV was apparently a mistake by the website but the coffee/tea making was within the control of the owner. Parking was very limited. For the high price, it just didn't have the amenities I'd expect. WiFi was slow and kept dropping out. I wet shave and there were no basin plugs. These are minor things that wouldn't have bothered me at two thirds the price. Overall, if I scored out of 10, I'd say a 4.

Deceiving in photos
Stayed a night and glad it wasn't longer. The staff were extremely lovely but that is where it ended unfortunately :/ Awkward flooring in the bathroom, an unstable toilet and a "double bed " that was two singles put together and uncomfortable . The crab soup and smoked fish salad were lovely but the eggplant fritters were in a soggy batter and the eggplant uncooked - not at all like the crispy ones we are used to at other locations around the island. Breakfast mediocre - unseasoned eggs and soggy bacon - the papaya jam was their saving grace. Great for a cheap option if you're going to mostly outside of the hotel doing activities but don't expect anything sensational and comfortable. Needs a huge refurbishment in general as it could have potential

Nice hotel with a great garden
Stayed here for one night on our way out of Mahe, and it was great. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished,with a great terrace to sit out on. Good restaurant on site, and we loved the garden, with its hammock and bright flowers. Beaches for swimming are a little distance, but it's a very easy bus ride to the beautiful bay at Port Launay. Staff were very helpful.

Great hotel.
Its a nice hotel with a home like feeling. The staff are very friendly. The mini markets next door are good access to buy snack and water. Exactly at 1.2km or 20min walk there is a beautiful beach. The place is not convenient to walk around and see other things because there is nothing to see around. So if you have a car its quite a cozy place to stay.
