Wonderful stay in a lovely house
We stayed in the house for one week in october and enjoyed it very much. The house is close to everything you need for having a good time. The bakery and the tourist office are just across the street; all important shops are in walking distance and so is the beach. You might get wet taking a walk there (october!), but you just return to the house, have a cup of tea or coffee, warm up and continue walking.
The house itself has a special atmosphere. It is rather small but provides everything you need.There is a bathroom with a toilet in the basement. And there are three sleeping rooms and a second bathroom with a toilet on the first floor. The announced fourth sleeping room is actually the tv-room with a sleeping sofa.
The equipment in the kitchen and in both of the bathrooms is absolutely up to date On arrival we found the house well prepared and everything was in top condition.
The importance of having the chance to use the garage cannot be estimated high enough, cause it is not always easy to find a parking place in Le Crotoy when returning from a trip to other coastal towns.
Francois has been very helpful in answering all our questions very quickly in a friendly way.
Last but not least I must talk about the staircase leading to the first floor. For visitors with very young children it could be wise to bring something to block the way to the stairs. The situation is not without danger. But maybe Francois can provide a solution. I would not be surprised.
