Beautiful Property
We enjoyed our stay at the Coconut Hut. It is in a beautiful location and perfectly situated from the beach. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds, the Koi pond, and amazing palm trees. The house had everything needed for a great stay. Would definitely stay here again! The owner was quite nice and let us have a late checkout which was much appreciated.

Serene Getaway
This house is so sweet, beautiful, and peaceful, one of the best place I have stayed on Kauai. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is set up with everything you need and there is laundry as well. It’s quiet and the courtyard is a great place to read, meditate or drink your morning coffee. Steps from Anini beach. I highly recommend it!

Quiet Paradise
Just spent a week at the Coconut Hut and it’s perfection. The house is right off the road and yet feels completely secluded. The yard is massive, the pictures do not do it justice. The lemon tree is an extra added bonus, lemonade and daiquiris (get the local Koloa gold rum) were made and insanely good, felt like Ina Garten, just strolling out of the side door for fresh fruit! The house is decorated in a casual yet classic Hawaiian feel. Can not wait to go back and see what the upgrades to the cottage next door will be. Aloha!

thanks so much for this. So glad you enjoyed it. The cottage next door is not licensed for rental, and will be a guesthouse for my family to use when we go. The main house will be remodeled, as will the guest house, over the next year (who knows the time, Kauai is not fast) but it will reveal an upgraded CocoCottage. Mahalo.

Hidden Gem
The perfect place to stay if you want to get a bit off of the beaten path and have a beautiful beach to swim, paddle, snorkel and hang out everyday. The cottage is authentic and well maintained. Perfectly located between Kilauea and Princeville/Hanalei. If you want true Kauai, this is it..the roosters will wake you in morning, and there are lemon and avocado trees outside your backdoor.

Wonderful charming cottage in a lovely neighborhood
Great property. Nice to be in a neighborhood that felt like Hawaii away from the resort feel of main Princeville. Equipped with absolutely everything one needs on vacation. I would stay there again if I went back to Kauai.

Such a sweet little spot
A happy house with (in fact) everything we needed. Since I hear that the owner is soon to make renovations, let me say, you really don't need to. Yeah, OK, you should replace the counter in the kitchen, but other than that, the only thing we wished for was a place to be outside when it was raining (which was every day when we were there). A little covered porch overlooking the pond would have made everything perfect. This is just a suggestion, we had a wonderful time with everything just as it is.

Peaceful Paradise
This property is lovely. Quiet location with open space and easy walking access to the beach. The property has an island vibe while offering the amenities of home. Clean, nice bedding and towels, washer and dryer plus chairs and beach towels. The property manager promptly helped us with a new key after we misplaced ours. Easy access to a grocery store, and to a Saturday Farmer's Market. After hiking and visiting more popular locations, it was lovely to come back to this property and feel the serenity of its privacy. Thank you!!

Peaceful Anini oasis
This is a perfect little cottage. Furnished beautifully and tastefully with a kitchen full of high quality pots, pans, utensils etc. Lovely pond with a waterfall and water lilies. Easy access to shopping and restaurants. Comfy beds. Plenty of room to spread out but still feels cozy. Short walk to Anini Beach which is calm and good snorkeling.

This lovely spot had everything including comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and sumptuous towels and sheets. The cottage was kept cool because it’s surrounded by screen windows and doors, looking out on a vast yard of palm trees. A quiet haven within walking distance of a beach, we could clearly watch the stars at night.

This is lovely cottage on the north shore of Kauai. It feels secluded (much more so than down south), though it's a short walk or drive to the beach and a half-hour drive or so to restaurants and shops. The grounds are lovely and well-maintained, and the house is comfortable and well-equipped.

The Dreamy Coconut Hut
I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at the Coconut hut!! First - it was amazing communication between the owner and my family. He was EXTREMELY kind, friendly, and made our dreams come true by sharing his beautiful property. Second - the check - in / out process was EXTREMELY easy and efficient. There is a very kind property manager who sent me information on everything and was willing to speak to me on the phone before we came and texted with me if we had any questions while we were there. Third - the location of the home is PERFECT!!! Set back on a private road with huge immaculate front yard full of palm trees - but only a 5 min walk from your own private portion of anini beach - slice of heaven!!! I am still dreaming of myself sitting at the outdoor table watching my kids run through the yard chasing the chickens and roosters. Plus the area is only 1.5 hours from the south shore / Pouipu area and only 30-45 min from Hanalei. So we could enjoy the best of the north shore beaches - and just a short day drive to explore the south shore and Waimea canyon, etc. Lastly - the house itself is AMAZING and fully stocked!! I was shocked to find everything from beach towels, pack n play, shampoo, bug spray, snorkel gear, BBQ, etc etc. Besides food - there is NOTHING we needed. The washer and dryer was also HUGE!! Needless to say - we had the trip of a lifetime and we hope that the owners and team will be so kind to let us come back and stay. My family will forever remember the Coconut hut and be grateful and blessed. It is truly paradise. If you’re trying to decide... stop here and thank me later!! Thank you again to the wonderful owner, staff, team - we are forever grateful for the memories.

Charming, private cottage near pristine beach
This is a lovely, charming cozy cottage with an attractive, casual Old Hawaii-esque aesthetic. Slept a family of four perfectly. The outside grounds are spacious and secluded and an outdoor dining table, reclining chairs and a small charcoal BBQ make the pretty yard a wonderful place to relax. There is no covered lanai for rainy days, but the living room itself feels like a lanai, with lots of light streaming in. It is a happy, relaxing cottage to return to after a day of exploring or hitting the beach. The biggest plus is that the cottage is a very short walk to Anini Beach. If you want quiet off the beaten path and easy access to a pristine and uncrowded beach, this is the place! Having snorkeling gear and beach chairs available was also a great feature. This really is a wonderful place and we hope to return! A few things to note: the kitchen isn’t really set up for folks who do a lot of cooking. There is no dishwasher, no basics like olive oil, and the stove took 30 minutes to heat a pot of water. I mention this only because nearby restaurant options are so limited due to Hanalei bridge closures. We had one small hiccup—a broken washing machine—during our stay. The owner resolved it quickly and the local contact was very attentive.

Idyllic
This property epitomizes the beauty of AirB&B ... the chance for an experience that would otherwise be inaccessible. A quaint beach cottage with a laid-back island esthetic only steps from a beautiful stretch of sand and ocean. A fabulous experience we hope to repeat. The beach was perfect for swimming and snorkeling and is safe for all ages. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Delightful Stay
We've had a delightful 5 days at the coconut hut. Its secluded and private yet just 5 minutes from the beach. It feels like Hawaii! The cottage is lovely, simple but well appointed with nice towels, bedding and a fully equipped kitchen with matching dishes and good cookware and knives. We enjoyed the hot tub and the garden and the living area inside is so comfortable you may not even want to leave!

Charming Down to the Last Detail
Coconut Hut was the perfect location for a relaxing stay on Kauai's north shore. Minutes from Anini beach and an easy drive to Hanalei, Kilauea, and Princeville. The house is spotless, the decor lovely and new dishes from Crate and Barrel and the super soft linens from Parachute added a special touch to a beautiful destination. The house is off the main road so it is quiet and private. The beach chairs and umbrella provided were a great convenience. We didn't use the boogie boards and had our own snorkel gear but appreciated the option. The hot tub was a relaxing end to the day. It was especially rainy the week we were there so the driveway was muddy and wet much like many roads on the island. Communication from the owners and the property manager was really proactive and very helpful. Just loved everything about Coconut Hut.

I am glad you appreciated Anini, one of the magical beaches in the entire Hawaiian island chain. The only coral reef, that is nice for children. It is the beach, in which, our children learned to swim. So glad you enjoyed. We did recently do some work to make the house nicer for tenants so that is nice to hear. Mahalo

Great Location!
This house is adorable. Great location and Jeff is great to work with. Only drawback (which was out of his hands) was that there is no AC - which is typical for Kauai but this summer was a doozy. That being said - Jeff more than went out of the way to make sure our trip was enjoyable. I hear he’s renovating and putting AC in too! We will definitely be back.

Cute Little Coconut!
The Coconut Hut is a cute and comfy little cottage in a great location just a short 4-5 minute walk from Anini Beach, one of the most protected and swimmable, snorkel-friendly beaches on the North Shore of Kauai. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay - including a hot tub which was wonderful to lounge in under the stars! Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas were comfy and well-appointed The grounds and gardens are pretty with a koi pond and new plantings. The extended grounds are somewhat of a work in progress, but neat and clear. I anticipate they will be spectacular as they grow in. Definitely would recommend a stay at the Coconut Hut!

A charming hideaway steps away from tranquil Anini Beach
The Coconut Hut was exactly the simple escape we needed - it was clean, compact, and quiet. We loved waking up to the birds singing, walking to the beach with a cup of coffee, and settling in at night with a good book. We barely used the TV and tried to avoid our phones despite the available wifi. The house is well-equipped with all you should need, although I recommend bringing your own cleaner snorkel gear or renting nearby. We really hope we can visit again in a year or two with our baby in tow and make this our go-to spot. We are starting our Kauai savings account now to be ready! :) Thank you!

Wonderful cottage in a jungle setting
House was charming and very comfortable, and the beds especially so. Grounds nicely kept and very pleasant with lots of bird songs, some of which I've never heard before in many years of visiting Hawaii. Sound of the ocean was always present and Anini beach is just a short walk away. All in all, a very nice place to spend a week and I would return.

Relaxing garden cottage by the sea
This sweet cottage had everything we needed. Clean, quiet (except for the chickens which are everywhere on the island), comfortable, and well-stocked with towels and kitchen and bath essentials. We had a wonderful stay at the Coconut Hut, just a couple minute walk to the beautiful Annini Beach , cottage is very roomy with all the amenities, even though we had a crisis our third night here (broken Water main) Jeff, the Owner, reimbursed us immediately for the night we missed, the crisis was fixed and we finished our vacation as planned, we definitely recommend staying at the coconut hut... The lovely 2 bedroom/2 bath plantation cottage is a short walk to the peaceful and beautiful Anini Beach. The cottage is nice and quiet (except for the roosters that roams around all of Kauai). The kitchen is good sized and relatively well stocked. It is very convenient to have washer/dryer in the house. There is a hot tub in the very private backyard. I would definitely come back to this place.

We had a wonderful time in this cottage, very close to the beach (5 min walk) 2 bedrooms huge Kitchen and comfortable beds with enough closets. The birds in the morning will wake you up really early but we did not mind at all, the cottage is very secluded and in the middle of a forest so bring earplugs and an eye mask if you are a late sleeper. The beach is very good for snorkeling and SUP paddle , a perfect place to be near Hanalei beach. The Market is 10 mins away and if you prefer not to cook there are plenty of options in Hanalei. 1 hr from Poipu and all the south Beaches in Kauai . Excellent location, privacy, comfortable and great communication with owner .
