We were warmly welcomed on arrival after a long journey and booked in. We made a reservation for our evening meal which was most enjoyable, hot and well presented by the staff. Our room was warm and welcoming, so thank you for a lovely stay, we look forward to returning.

Good overall hotel with easy access into kenal
A good hotel with good amenities for its size . The hotel is comfortable and warm . The staff are friendly and polite . A good selection at breakfast time with quality ingredients. Evening meal is of a good standard , however , it was totally spoiled for us on this occasion by the excessive noise from the party in the nearby room , with guests of the party spilling over into the restaurant area with roudy behaviour.

Fabulous
Fabulous relaxing stay. Large room with king size bed and ensuite. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Our only evening meal was presented nicely and tasted fabulous. A few tweaks and this would be an excellent hotel. Yes there were a few cobwebs, the decor could be done with being touched up a little, there is black around the wooden window frames and the u-bend could do with a descale but this wasnt four in a bed and everything else cancelled this out. The swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna are a fabulous addition. Plenty of parking and although near a main road there was little road noise. Would I stay here again. A definite Yes.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed here. Once on my own. I shall be coming probably once a month for the foreseeable future as my son is in Kendal. Excellent after a 3hour drive to have a swim and a jacuzzi.

Lovely hotel with great staff and food
Stayed here for a special occasion. Bedroom was a very good size and bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was clean (apart from the top of the shower head) and the soaps were very luxurious. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and was nice to have an iron in the room too. Stayed in the hotel for our evening meal and couldn't fault it. Staff were very attentive and courteous and also helped provide us with some places to visit locally. Pool, sauna and jacuzzi were all fantastic too Breakfast was cooked to order and the array of pastries, yoghurt and cereals on offer ensured there really was something for everyone. Would love to stay here again
