The place was not as clean as it could be- our coverlet had a hole in it that looked like a cigarette burn but the whole place is smoke free supposedly. It’s rundown looking- we had to stay here because it allowed pets and we had our dog with us- otherwise wouldn’t have stayed here-

This property was so run down and depressing. We toughed it out to stay one night but would never go back again. Breakfast was the cheapest possible and the dining area was dilapidated. The light over the bathroom mirror was missing all the light tubes. The bedding was gray instead of white and the pillow were not standard but little square throw pillow. Stay away!

My family and I booked this hotel for one night, as our child had a ball tournament in the area. It was the only hotel in the area with rooms Available to accommodate us. The room we were given were not clean. There was molded food that had been left in the microwave, assuming from past tenants. The bath tub was dirty, the refrigerator had crumbs in it, and the floors were not vacuumed. The hot water was COLD and there were very limited towels and rags. The lady at the service desk was actually very calm and apologized for the issues and gave us a $20 off discount. I will NOT book this hotel again! I would rather driver an hour and a half back and forth!!

The front desk staff were so nice, and helpful, but the hotel is so dirty. Every surface in the room was sticky and dirty, even the walls. The microwave had clearly been on fire at some point and the door was literally melted. The tv’s were very old and hardly worked. The pillows were oozing something right through the pillow cases. Several of the lights and plugs did not work. The same thing in my friends room, and his smelled like an outhouse as well.

Had blood stains on sheets when we first arrived. Pillow cases looked dirty and had to have staff change sheets. Toilet looked dirty, bathroom floor needed a good cleaning. Had to fix chain in toilet almost every time used to keep it from running. Tv screen had issues & remote didn’t work well even when batteries were put in correctly. Room did not have a phone so when we had issues it was a trip to the front desk. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Someone had a car broken into while I was staying. I smelled marijuana in the parking lot. There was a roach in my room. The microwave did not work. I had to go to the front desk to ask for a coffee pot. I was on the bottom floor so there was a whole lot of noise coming from the room on top of mine. I didn't even get up for the continental breakfast after the first morning... During the heavy hours of the stay like earlier in the morning and in the evening there was no hot water in my room.

The accommodations were sketchy at best. For example, there was one towel in our room for two guests and no washcloths or hand towels. Our other room had limited towels with holes in them. When we mentioned this to front desk attendants the next morning, they did not seem the least bit interested or concerned. There was an empty dilapidated pool outside that couldn’t ever be used without being rebuilt. We would never stay there again or advise anyone else to either.

We showed up to the property with no lights in the parking lot or a lite sign letting us know that it was the property. Outside conditions were not pleasant and inside curtains were ripped and hanging from one side of the widows. The front desk clerk had a dirty torn hoodie with the smell of marijuana. We had a room on the second floor with no elevator. We entered our room not expecting too much from the encounters that we already endured. Being we traveled three hours to get here, I was in need of using the rest room to find that the toilet was full of human feces. We decided then that we will not be using their facilities for our over night stay. We returned to the front desk and let the clerk know that we will be cancelling our stay with a full refund to our credit card. She cancelled the card and sent an email. We are waiting now to see if there are any charges to the card, if they will be disputed. With that note, if you are planning on staying over night in Laurel Mississippi, it might be best to get an air BNB because there are little to no properties to stay. This trip out of many I would say is our worst.

Honestly shouldn’t even be called a hotel based on the facilities and staff. The first room we entered had dirty towels in the bathroom plus bed was not made, and the second room was occupied already. On our third room that we were given the sheets were stained, couch broken, tv damaged, hair in the bathtub, and most of the lamps didn’t even have light bulbs in them. When our room key stopped working we had to wake up the person behind the desk, it was the middle of the day. Overall a comically terrible experience.

This is a older property under renovation. The good.: Large room and bathroom with seating area. Quiet and well insulated from noise. Direct TV with lots of premium channels Above average breakfast and good coffee. Price is very low Pet friendly Surfaces clean Great staff Needs improvement : Jetted Tub covered in soap scum. (hint let soft scrub sit on surface for 5 minutes scrub and rinse) Great TV package waisted on elderly TV Chair and fridge broken Towels scratchy and scarce. $20 hand held shower please.

When I arrived on the property, there were potholes everywhere. There was nothing attractive about the outside. It was bland and unwelcoming. When I got inside, I was informed that they were only taking cash because their credit card machine was down. I had to leave to go get cash. The toilet was filthy and the tv didn’t work. I called the front desk about the issue, but there was no resolution. This hotel has really gone down and I was really disappointed.

We were working in MS for a few days so we just wanted a clean, comfortable place to sleep and prepare for next day.. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The room had some cosmetic issues that needs repaired. Outlets coming out of wall, Outlets on lamps were very loose, Smoke/fire alarm wasn't attached to wall, Hole in ceiling around sprinkler system heads, Bathroom wall is damaged behind door near tub, Hot water didn't get hot in shower. All small things but when you pay for a room, It should be up to par.

This is by far the WORST hotel experience in my life! I am not exaggerating! I have stayed in some cheap hotels but this does not touch how bad this stay was. It does not match pictures! They did not have a full breakfast assortment. We did not feel safe. Mt daughter actually moved the table against the door so that no one could get in. I had to go out in the morning to make sure no one had broke into my car. NONE of us showered because it was so dirty. We slept on top of the bed covered with our blankets. We could not use the pillows because they were dirty! I have pictures of everything. I wish I could get a refund!

I have photos to prove my claims. The exterior door did not latch, there was zero safety component in place. Anyone off the street could walk right in. The locking mechanism on the interior door to our room was broke. And the electronics hanging out. The toilet was stained black, the tub was filthy. We left the hotel, asked for a refund due to the safety issues but were denied. The pictures online are not the current look of the hotel. The front entry is in shambles, and the entrance door had no locking mechanism either. I did not feel safe staying at this property and will be requesting a refund. I feel like we were completely scammed. What we purchased is definitely not what we got.

We started in a room on the 2nd floor and were told there was no elevator. My wife had trouble getting up and down. The room smelled like men's cologne and the TV made a horrible screeching noise even though it was off so we had to unplug it. There were no towels so I tried to call room service but the phone didn't work, so i called with my cellphone. They brought us threadbare stained towels. We tried to use the shower and the safety bar came out of the wall. There was no hot water or water pressure. We had them move us to the 1st floor and i told the manager everything that happened. They said nothing about fixing it, but they did tell me that the elevator had been removed when hurricane Katrina destroyed it. The new room was not much better with a toilet that was leaking all over the bathroom floor. The dining area near the front desk had no supplies so my wife and I searched the drawers and found some plates and open packs of utensils. When we checked out at the end of our stay,I was told that if I wanted a discount or refund, I would have to take it up with hotels.com.

The property is waaay overdue for a complete remodel. Sink and tub missing plugs, rusty light fixtures, TVs not working, outside doors that don’t lock, breakfast was poor to mediocre, etc. etc. I would not stay here again even if it were a free stay.
