Great experience all around!

Gut: Everything! Staff, room, food, drink, venue!
Nicht so gut: Perhaps make it clear that a Visa Debit cannot be used for the damage deposit. I had booked/paid with mine but they would only accept a regular card.
It was my first time actually staying at the Westin and I was very very pleased. I was able to get a great deal on their "premium room" which was gorgeous! Spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was one of my favorites!! Not to mention the friendliness of the staff. Check-in was a breeze with a lovely young lady taking care of everything for us. We we're there for a competition being held in the building so had many supplies with us. Not only was the staff accommodating and quick with our requests for a trolly, but the gentleman also helped us take everything downstairs AND helped pack our car. I would absolutely stay here again anytime!

Great stay close to our venue...other than the heater/ air conditioner been very outdated, it was nice and comfortable.

Great price, good location, friendly staff, prompt check-in , whatelse is important? Taxi service is waiting at your front door and only 5$ downtown

Friendly, helpful staff!

I stayed here for a short "staycation" and an quite pleased with my experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful - from the valet to the cleaning staff who greeted me in the hallway on my way to my room. Check in was easy and a very pleasant experience, and I was made to feel welcome. The room wasn't huge, but clean and comfortable. Having Starbucks in room coffee and a mini-fridge added to the experience, and the toiletries provided were great. My only concern was that one of the facecloths had a lot of (shaven?) hair embedded in it, but this is minor. I didn't try the room service or onsite restaurant, so unfortunately can't speak to those. They also offer an inexpensive gear "rental" in the event that you've forgotten your own and wish to take advantage of the gym...or the in room exercise videos. I would definitely recommend the Westin, and hope to stay there again on my next overnight stay.

Beautiful Hotel

Great location, just steps away from the farmers market. The staff was very helpful and super accommodatin. The only con was that our room was really noisy as we went to bed- you could really hear the people in the rooms around us.

Second stay a dream. Excellent Experience

Gut: Classy, Helpful Staff, Comfortable rooms and bedding
After staying a second consecutive weekend at The Westin, any small doubts I had after my first stay were squashed. As before this is a very classy hotel to stay in and it shows through and through. I arranged my turn over service for a set time later in the day while I went out shortly and it was completed flawlessly upon my return. Room staff went out of their way to deliver amenities not automatically provided. Check-in was smooth and easy with a very small wait time. Excellent experience throughout.

Disappointing.

Gut: The bar was very comfortable with a nice atmosphere
Nicht so gut: Got to room and beds much too soft. At front desk said nothing could do as all same. Offered to have someone put boards under (???) or tale an 'overflow' room. Checked room and was terrible. Bed was small double at best, room half the size, and very outdated to say the least. We will not return. To Expedia, we have been very loyal customers and this is the first time you have let us down. Thank you Dr Alexander M Wilson
Lage: Excellent. Wonderful walks on the boardwalk with many good restaurants within walking distance. Just the room that was so disapointing and dated

Very classy, good experience, dated hotel.

Gut: Very classy, downtown location.
Nicht so gut: Temperature control in the room was pretty awful, and old school radiator and despite lowering it, it consistently stayed above 75 degrees in the room
Lage: Casino is a quick jump but there was overnight construction in progress during my stay which provided ample noise at 2 a.m. on a saturday night.
Check in was great, request for high floor and single bed were met. Salon and spa are definitely great and would be recommended. The good came with a little bad on this one, very classy and awesome location but feels dated. Room refused to cool below 75 despite instructions on the wall on how to make it work to full effectiveness. No fan in the bathroom meant after a hot shower the room turned to a sauna. Overall a good stay given the price and experience but would probably given the opportunity stay in a more modern hotel.

This was a very clean and elegant hotel. The staff was very friendly and I had no problems to write about. I will surely be staying at the Westin during other trips
