Convenient for yuk yuks

This hotel was alright. Very convenient for us to go to to yuk yuks. But there was no free WiFi, the hotel staff was unknowledgeable abouthe simple things like whereal he vending machines were. The bathroom was small and very outdated looking. There was hair everywhere in there too. The breakfast buffet was good but overpriced. 40$ for 2 of us. It wasn't totally terrible but next time I'll pay the same to stay somewhere more updated and get more inclusions.

Gut: We liked everthing, Nothing to complain about, Loved .
Nicht so gut: NOTHING.
We had a lovly experience, The food was so good and not to pricey and the Staff was very friendly.

A nice “convention” type hotel but ...noisy.

Gut: The view of the harbour. Location.
Lage: South end of Halifax so close to Point Pleasant Park, restaurants, harbour and shopping. All good.
A nice “convention” type hotel but ...noisy. There were people running up and down the halls and talking loudly until 2:30 AM. This ruined out night. We left early and will not be returning to the Westin.

Little getaway

Lage: Yuk Yuks right in the hotel
We were staying here and the restaurant was excellent, but we were going to the Yuk Yuk's and we told the staff there a few times and they said we had lots of time, we were there for 2 hours and we just made it to the show. But if you aren't in a hurry it would have been much better. The food was excellent.

Room was a bit small and bathroom was dated. Overall a great stay though!

Nicht so gut: le système de chauffage qui fonctionne sans arrêt, impossible à arrêter
Hôtel très sympathique, très bien situé, personnel à l'écoute. Tout est bien organisé et propre

Wonderful hotel near to the Canard centre.

Nicht so gut: the breakfast
The kids loved the pool.The rooms were very clean. And I would recommend it to anyone.

Hotel is nice rooms were a little small overall very nice hotel would definitely go back and recommend to friends

Very conveniently located

Gut: I loved the location, found the rooms had everything that I needed. I really enjoyed the staff from the front dest to the room cleaners.
Nicht so gut: Just the above mentioned under my experience
Lage: Excellent ! Close to dining, and entertainment. Plus loved having the superstore beside the hotel. Very convenient .
I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel while attending a conference within the hotel. I found the staff were very willing to help with any requests. I was unpleasantly surprised by the Restarant managers response to a request to have a gluten free salad in the lounge instead of the Restarant. I'm celiac and was dining alone and was just more comfortable to eat in the lounge. The server , who was very pleasant , said it shouldn't be a problem, but she had to check with the manager , she said that it usually isn't a problem. He came out and said no- I said there wasn't options on the lounge menu for me except a cheese tray, which quite frankly I just didn't want, too heavy. I told him the night before they served the same salad in the lounge. He still said no so I had no choice but to go to dining room. Not impressed by him alone. Everyone else was more than professional and helpful. I would understand if I wanted a more complicated meal but it was a salad. On a more positive note , the front desk staff and bell hops could not have been more helpful. I would stay at the Westin again as I feel this was a isolated incident.

Fantastic staff who made my business stay lovely.

Gut: The incredibly friendly staff.
Nicht so gut: Update the mattress and air out the hallways a bit more.
Lage: Very close walking distance to incredible food and things to do. Loved Five Fisherman restaurant and the Seaport market.
Loved the staff at this hotel who always went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. My room was comfortable. The bed definitely needs a mattress change shortly but overall clean and comfortable. The hallways felt a bit stuffy and musty but inside the room was nice. Good stay!
