Surprised that Expedia had a “good” rating for this hotel, which is not justified. I have trust deficit with Expedia’s rating after my experience at this property.
The property is old and has no lift. Guests have to carry their luggage up two floors, and there was no warning given for this by Expedia in its description of the property.
Customer service was very poor. We had breakfast with our booking, but there was no place to sit and eat - hence had no breakfast. Also staff refused to provide hot water requested for tea before breakfast was open to be served.
Uncomfortable and vey small toilet space - again something not highlighted by Expedia.
I would rate the property as a hostel for students - not a hotel.

Faisal, Faisal please know that lies have short legs. It's not our fault if you can't read on expedia, where it clearly states that being one of the oldest buildings in Florence we have no lift. It is not our fault if you arrive at the last moment and pretend to have breakfast passing in front of everyone. Where is the politeness? If the hotel sucked so much, why did you stay? Next time if you want a five-star service don't be stingy, spend and go to a four-star However we are very very happy not to have been to your taste, we are in fact for many but not for all and we are fine with that. Ah one last thing since you gave a judgement on us, allow us to give a judgement on you, for us our rating is 0 and why a negative rating can't be put and then for Christian charity we wouldn't have done itThe property
