Wonderful place to stay
Great place to stay, great location, very well stocked. Had everything we needed. The elevator was a nice extra touch. Any time I had a question the host responded very quickly. We were even able to see the northern lights faintly from the balcony.

First VRBO stay
We decided to try the VRBO route for the first time vs staying at the typical hotel (typically stay at a holiday inn or Hampton inn or embassy suites). This property we really enjoyed. It is about the same cost as a hotel but the space and privacy made it worth it. The host was quick to respond when we needed an extra day. The space was huge for our party of four. It was well kept up. Parking and directions on the whole process was easy. Plain and simple if I ever come back to Fairbanks this is where I would stay hands down. Don’t hesitate.

The pictures don’t do justice to this property. Definitely the best VBRO place I have stayed. It was beautifully kept. It was an extremely large. Everything was first class, two kitchens, and large dining room. There were the two bedrooms, but there was another room with a couch that opened into a bed, with comfortable chairs, and hugh TV that my two teenaged grandchildren with their games took over. Plus another living room for adults. It was super clean - can’t say enough nice things about it.

Enjoyed our stay here very much. The home is very big and comfortable (except the king bed is very firm but some people may prefer that). The fold out sofa in the den was more comfy. Kitchen and shower were awesome.

Great location
We loved being within walking distance of several good restaurants, the cultural center and riverside pathway. The penthouse lives up to it's name with a fabulous private balcony, spacious indoor space and quiet comfortable bedrooms. And the stand alone ice maker ensured there was plenty of ice for cocktails!

The apartment is very spacious and well equipped with everything to make you comfortable. Loved that there was a den with a sofa and 3 recliners as well as a nice living room with a big window.The host was very responsive and prompt when I had questions. Good location, about 3-4 blocks from downtown. Very quiet, we never heard the business downstairs. Lots of good hot water and pressure. The heater worked well. The king size bed was quite hard but that is a personal preference. We would stay there again if we ever get a chance to stay in Fairbanks again.

Winter Vacay in Fairbanks
This is a great property and would definitely consider staying here again, especially in the summer when we could take advantage of the outdoor decks. It is HUGE. The pictures don't do it justice. My only complaint is lack of lighting. The bedrooms, especially, are EXTREMELY dark, even with every light turned on. Both beds were very comfortable. Tenare was responsive to all our questions. Top notch place.

Nice, Clean and Exclusive Penthouse!
We are two senior couples, close friends. We travel together often and always look for a suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. This "Executive Suite" met those requirements. When we first arrived we were not too sure about our choice. The entry and elevator was a bit old looking. Then when we checked out the lodging layout it seem a bit strange. It is obvious that this layout was originally built for someone with a disability (wheelchair bound). The furniture is a bit dated, but very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is very clean and has updated appliances. Plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. About four different appliances for making your coffee, including a Keurig cup machine. After our first couple of days, we all decided that we were quite happy with our choice for lodging during our one week stay in Alaska. It is an exclusively located penthouse, which means no neighbors to be concerned about. Would be a great place for a large family to stay and not worry about how noisy the kids get!! It is centrally located in Fairbanks, so it was no problem getting to everywhere we wanted to go. We highly recommend this place to stay while visiting Fairbanks, Alaska.

Comfortable, Unique Penthouse in Fairbanks
We took our 4 kids to Fairbanks to chase the Northern Lights. We wanted a place that we could easily come and go and be able to get some sleep at odd hours. This was the perfect set up. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was a ton of room. It sits above a Newspaper place, but we never heard people working below us, or had any problems there. We would definitely stay here again if and when we make it back to Fairbanks.

WOW, Very Impressive
After two and a half weeks of bouncing in and out of hotels every day or every two days, it was so wonderful to unpack and stay in one place for six days. SO MUCH SPACE! We were traveling with another couple, so we each had our own bedroom and own bathroom. The kitchen is huge, with a separate ice maker! (thought it was the dishwasher at first) There is a separate room with the washer and dryer, and an extra refrigerator, dishwasher and lots of cabinets in that room (room was probably for catering or a butler's pantry in the apartment's previous life). The apartment had everything we needed, it was comfortable and we'd be very happy to return.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and very well appointed. We enjoyed the amenities of a large kitchen and a laundry room. The apartment was economically priced as well. The master BR shower was amazing, as well as the library/ bar. the patio is a nice feature too, it was a relaxing venue for dinner (after we sprayed the mosquitos away; they must be the state bird, lol). Quiet, relaxing, peaceful respite that we will definitely keep on our list of favorites when we return to Fairbanks. If there was a disclaimer, I would have to point to the cable service. It was sketchy on one TV, (the sound kept going out) and the other screen had such a weak signal that all it produced was grey "snow". I thought of calling Craig (the maintenance coordinator) but our stay was just brief enough that we enjoyed a couple of night of family card-games instead. What a surprising hidden gem in a convenient location. The condo was even larger than it appeared in photos and very clean. The deck was private and high enough up to ward off most of the mosquitos. Having an ice machine in the kitchen and laundry machines was such a nice convenience. We would certainly stay here again if we find ourselves back in Fairbanks.

This is very beautiful property!
This property was very clean and organized. Everything was well working and prepared for our stay. The property manager was very communicative and great to work with. I had an issue with my card and had to have Amex deliver a new one. The host was great as far as getting the delivery to me and communicating. We we’re not aware that the 3rd “bedroom” (family room) had a pullout couch. Due to that, one of the members in my party had to find other accommodations.

Unique Fairbanks accommodation
This was a lovely, spacious, clean and unique accommodation. As the weather happened to be hot in June while we were there and we had the windows open, we did notice the train noise at night. Also, the 3rd bedroom/library does not have a door and the futon was not the most comfortable (for a senior couple) . Overall it was a most enjoyable place with great kitchen, dining and living room areas.
