Tolles Frühstück in sehr schönem Ambiente und ein sehr freundliches engagiertes Service-Personal. Schönes geräumiges Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Das Hotel liegt nahe zur Stadt in einer angenehmen Gegend. Man kann die Fenster zumindest für Frischluft kippen was nicht in allen Hotels in Dublin möglich ist. Was ich irritierend fand, war dass der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption bei meiner Ankunft wollte, dass ich die Hotelrechnung bezahle, obwohl ich das schon einen Monat vorher mit Kreditkarte über Expedia.de erledigt hatte. Es dauerte etwas bis ich ihn überzeugt hatte. Beim nächsten mal Kontoauszug mitnehmen. Nicht so schön war auch dass in einer Nacht zweimal ein falscher Feueralarm ausgelöst wurde der einen um den Schlaf gebracht hat. Alles in allem fand ich das Hotel aber trotzdem gut. Die Busse vor der Tür bringen einen in die Stadt wenn man lauffaul ist und die Linie 700 für den Flughafen findet man dort auch.

Am Sonntag wurde uns vom Hotel ein Taxi für Montag zum Flughafen bestätigt. Montag 7 Uhr erneut Gürtel 8 Uhr, aber es kam nicht. Den Hotelangestellten war es völlig egal, es wäre montags immer so! Fast hätten wir den Flieger verpasst, was für ein schlechter Service.

Das Hotel entsprach zunächst grundsätzlich unseren Erwartungen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet, die Mitarbeiter am Service Desk und beim Frühstück sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nachteilig war, dass in der Nacht um 01:30 Uhr einige Gäste nach draußen gegangen sind, sich dort sehr angeregt unterhalten haben und dann auch noch miteinander gesungen haben. Da die Fenster noch nicht 3-fach verglast hat uns das trotz geschlossener Fenster geweckt und einige Zeit wach gehalten. Wir haben das reklamiert und sind in ein anderes Zimmer umgezogen. Dass Zimmer war nicht so schön ausgestattet, jedoch war der Lärm der feiernden Gäste dort nicht mehr zu hören. Leider war das Zimmer wiederum sehr hellhörig zum benachbarten Zimmer, sodass wir durch die Gespräche ebenfalls gestört worden Insgesamt muss das Hotel die Geräuschisolierung der Zimmer verbessern. Hinzu kommt, dass die Anzahl der Parkplätze zu knapp bemessen ist.

Unterkunft ist für einen Kurztrip (2-3 Tage) nach Dublin geeignet, da von dort alles Sehenswerte fussläufig zu erreichen ist und es trotzdem ruhig ist. In der Nähe befinden sich mehrere kleine Bistros, in denen man ordentlich frühstücken kann.

Did not like the showers. Walkin shower for handicap room had low pressure. Other rooms have very narrow tubs and for older people did not feel safe taking a shower. Hotel staff was great in changing rooms to facilitate and older person.

This hotel is huge takes almost 5 minutes to get from elevator to my room. I loved the design and ammenities. The full Irish breakfast was nice. The only think that disappointed is a lot of things are broken or heavily scratched or chipped. The fridge wooden door was completely ripped off the metal door stuck behind and pointy end of the screws pointing out and that is a serious safety risk. Avoid the room service pizza the cheese is of low quality and the tomato sauce bitter and acidy same with the ham melt cheese with tomato bland and absolutely discusting and a real rip off for 43€ it’s to avoid at all cost. Other than those two things they need to immensely improve I enjoyed my stay there.

The staff at this hotel were all excellent. We were greeted at check in with a smile and that continued throughout our stay. The hotel is on a great bus route but you can also walk to the city. Fantastic location for a stay in Dublin.

The staff were friendly and polite, and if there was anything to improve upon it was a little more attentiveness over breakfast. A bit more variety in the menu for evening meals would be good. Otherwise absolutely fine.

Handy if you are attending a conference but it’s very run down. Rooms are musty and old. The staff are very nice, and the rooms are clean but this place needs a renovation asap.
