Best hotel you can choose close to the airport!
Closed to the airport, very very nice and helpful service staff! I was just there for one night to catch an early flight, but I enjoyed the time. Perfect stay!

Gutes Transit Hotel
Sehr gutes transit Hotel. Bietet einen gratis Shuttle vom und zum Airport. Das Hotel habe ich für einen Aufenthalt während einer Geschäftsreise gebucht. Es ist zentral gelegen nicht weit vom Flughafen entfernt. Ich hatte ein Zimmer Club Level gebucht, das Zimmer war geräumig und gut ausgestattet. In der Club Lounge wurden während der happy hour gratis Drinks und kleine Speisen serviert. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Frühstücksbüffet was eine grossartige Auswahl bot. Das Hotel kann ich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Suite mit Raucherbalkon
Man ist doch etwas vom Zentrum entfernt, aber schnell vom Flughafen da. Es gibt einen guten Shuttle-Bus. Ich hatte ein Auto und des einen freien Parkplatz benutzt. Es scheint genügend davon zu haben. Ich habe die Suite mit Balkon gebucht, weil ich draussen rauchen wollte. Die Balkontür war zuerst zwar verschlossen, wurde aber bereits beim Check-in gefragt, ob sie geöffnet werden soll, was auch geschah. Die Sicht war direkt auf ein lärmiges Areal, jedoch die Fenster waren gut genug gegen den Lärm. Das Hotel hat mir sehr gut gefallen, das Frühstück top! Wi-Fi war gut. Den Pool habe ich nicht genutzt, der sah aber ordentlich aus.

Wunderbares Hotel!
Ich war für 8 Nächte im Oryx Rotana. Es war super! Das Gym, der Pool waren super und das Essen war lecker. Einziges Problem war die lange Wartezeit am Pool, wenn man etwas bestellt hat. Ansonsten alles TOP! Sehr nettes Hotelteam und mein Zimmer war stets sauber. Immer wieder gerne!

Knauserig!
War in den letzten Wochen in fünf Rotana Hotel. Dieses hat mir am wenigsten gefallen. Für einen frühen Check-in zahlt man kräftig drauf. Normalerweise bekommt man mehrere Flaschen Trinkwasser im Zimmer gestellt. Nur hier nicht. Selbes Spiel am Pool. Hotel liegt abseits der Stadt. Fußläufig erreichbar: Starbucks, amerikanisches Fastfood und ein Supermarkt. In der Lobby wurde laut saniert. Es ist modern, sauber und straff organisiert. Dadurch wirkt es kalt und unfreundlich. Werde ich in Doha nicht nochmal buchen.

Flughafenhotel ohne Flughafen
Das Oryx Rotana war eine gute Wahl. Angefangen vom schnellen Einchecken über das saubere und sehr ansprechend eingerichtete Zimmer bis zum (vom Aussehen her, wir hatten es nicht gebucht)umfangreichen Frühstück alles tiptop. Auch der Pool war willkommen und gut gepflegt. Die Lage ist auch nach Umzug des Flughafens an den neuen Standort gut, in die Stadt kommt man mit dem taxi für 10 Rial und vom Flughafen verkehrt der - leider inzwischen kostenpflichtige - Hotelshuttle oder (lohnt sich ab 2 Personen) man nimmt ein Taxi. Supüermärkte und Schnellimbissketten in der Nähe, aber auch das Hotel bietet tolles Essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Hotel liegt direkt neben dem Flughafengelände. Der kostenlose Shuttlebus fährt tagsüber wohl alle 15 Minuten und in 5 Minuten ist man im Hotel. Bei uns war der Bus am Airport grade weg. In der Wartezeit wurden wir dort bereits eingechekt, so dass wir im Hotel dirket aufs Zimmer gehen konnten.

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel in Flughafennähe!
Wir verbrachten eine Nacht in diesem Hotel, da wir am nächsten Tag weiterflogen. Das Hotel liegt in Flughafennähe und bietet einen kostenlosen Shuttleservice an. Alles verlief reibungslos und sehr schnell. Wir waren begeistert. Unser Zimmer war äußerst konfortabel. Das Frühstücksbuffett am nächsten Tag ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in diesem Hotel ein Zimmer buchen.

Sehr angenehmes luxuriöses Hotel. Das Zimmer war groß und sehr angenehm. Die Klimaanlage hat etwas gescheppert, aber da wir aus Indien kamen war das zu vernachlässigen. Um vom Hotel irgendwohin zukommen, braucht man ein Taxi. Der Poolbereich war sehr angenehm, die tiefste Stelle war leider nur 95 cm, aber dafür gab es 2 Lifeguards.
