Summary:
Fancy a stay? We have a Great one! It's located on one of the coolest blocks of Colorado Springs—where trendy new restaurants with award-winning menus are popping up all over the place. You'll find cafes and breweries, even an escape room almost next door. If you expand your sphere from (2) blocks to (4), the possibilities are endless.

The Space:
Our place—it's pretty nice too. Basement unit out of four in the building, it's nonetheless been designed for travelers and guests. Practical. Affordable. Oh, and we're dog-friendly too. Perfect!

This place has everything you need! With it's traveler-centric design, it's colors, it's appeal, and not to mention the amazing location! Don't take my word for it - You'll have to see for yourself!

Enter through the front door of the building to get to this basement unit after parking on the street (there's always plenty). You'll go down the stairs to this lower level unit, and open the door into a bright, cheerful, comfortable space. The unit is simple—a single great-room comprising the living room and kitchen, with the single bedroom and bath off to the side. There's plenty of natural light although it is a basement unit. The layout is both practical and more spacious than you might imagine. The kitchen is fully functional and ready for your culinary creations. The living room is inviting and has a huge TV that is ready for you to utilize while you kick back and relax! The single bedroom features a comfortable queen bed appointed with quality bedding and linens, professionally laundered. The single bath is clean and bright, with subway tile and the same practical sensibility displayed throughout this apartment. An additional twin roll away bed is available in the living room closet as well. The theme here is meaningful—a vacation rental at its roots. A comfortable place to stay in an exceptional, energetic, urban location—a place to stay and rest while you contemplate the next day's adventures. The Neighborhood:
Located just south of Downtown, this neighborhood presents established homes, many from the turn of the 20th century, in the process of transition. Some parts are gorgeous, others are rougher around the edges, but what is UNEQUIVOCAL is the energy of this neighborhood. Some of the finest, trendiest dining establishments in Colorado Springs are just a block or two away. Be sure to check out Shuga's for a wholly authentic, bohemian-chic. Streetcar 520, Dos Santos, Coquettes are all award-winning restaurants. There are cafes (The Exchange), breweries (Gold Camp Brewing Company), old-school-cool Italian places (Luigis) and plenty of additional opportunities if you're willing to walk 4 or 5 blocks, instead of 2! All of the more well-known Colorado Springs attractions, places like Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, the Broadmoor, the Air Force Academy—are easily accessible, and some just minutes away from the main roads and the Interstate right down the road. Exceptional urban appeal. Easy access. Handsome, welcoming and practical environs—you'll love it!

Getting Around:
Although there are exceptional entertainment, dining and recreational opportunities within walking distance to this vacation rental, we still recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. Scooters are also available throughout the downtown area. We're also happy to provide bus schedules and maps if you'd like to use public transportation.

Other Things to Note:
AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.

🐶Dog Policy:
-This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!
* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals.
* No pets other than dogs allowed - we are sorry!;
* No smoking or vaping (of any kind) is allowed indoors;
* Washer and Dryer are located in the common space on the lower level of the home.
* Garbage bins are located in the back alley. Please let us know if the trash is overflowing - we will fix that for you!
* An additional twin roll away bed is available in the living room closet.
*We appreciate your understanding about the house next door which, while somewhat run-down, appears to be unoccupied. Despite its outward appearance, it doesn't detract from the comfort and tranquility of our home.
* White Honeywell Thermostat is for the baseboard heating and is a backup only. Please leave at 55 degrees.
* The Heat/AC temperature is controlled off of the Mini Split on the living room wall. Please use the remote to control the temperature settings.

-We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs. If we are able to accommodate an early check-in or late check-out, we can do this free of charge. Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early for an early check-in or the day before your departure for a late check-out.

It was everything as described. The communication was very fast and unproblematic. The check in and check out was easy. The pretty downtown is very close with many restaurants, bars and shops.

Late receiving information concerning check in. No links sent were active. Took forever to get inside since Door entry panel needs a new battery. Woke up the next morning with spiders crawling all over the walls. Street parking only. No dishwasher. Filthy rugs. Poor circulation. Noisy neighbors. Broken sofa legs. No working washer and dryer. 5 towels for 2 people for 5 nights. No sports on TV. Totally uncomfortable. The owners hired an agency who is good at lip service. Spiders!

While this property was in a very nice location, the unit that I rented was in the basement of a renovated house. It smelled musty and appeared to have mold on the walls leading to the unit. I did not realize that it was a basement apartment. Furnishings were very basic (although the bed was comfortable). Requested a new hairdryer as the one in the unit quit working day 3. Never got replaced. Would not rent again.

Nice small condo
Might be better in the summer, with concrete floors, I was cold most of the time staying here. It is a functional small condo. The walls are thin, if there are neighbors you will hear them walking around. People also have the tendency to leave the front door open, which makes it colder in the basement.

It’s a cute little place in downtown. It’s easy to get around Colorado Springs from here. It doesn’t have a dishwasher, laundry is just down the hall. Great little place.
