The price was amazing! In these days finding a motel/hotel for und $75 a night is rare, the rooms are clean, the stay was quiet, I recommend staying here if your not into paying over gouging prices that other motels charge for the same quality. Thank you Royal Inn for the pleasant stay! I'll definitely spread the word! Cheers!

You do your own house keeping and the facility is definitely outdated. It's cheap and if you're looking for a roof and shower and nothing more, it will do. The room was a bit musty so bring your own air freshener.

Oh dear!
The woman at the desk was awesome, but the room was far less than desirable. It smelled like it was absolutely soaked in [human?] urine. I dont mean a little, i mean it was like being in a dirty diaper pail. The stench was HORRIBLE. The mattress, well, i slept on springs, there was no padding between the innersprings and the mattress fabric. There also seems to be a bug issue. I saw several dark insects on the walls. The room itself was well cleaned. I really wish i could say better things,(because the clerk was so nice and the outside was respectable) but i just cant. It was a miserable night because of the overwhelming pee smell.

The property is old and doesnt look like much when you drive up but my room was very clean and cozy and the woman who checked me in was very nice and helpful. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

BEWARE
This place is very old ran down the room. I stayed in particularly smelt like cat pee very strong very gross. The beds weren’t that comfortable. I found hair in the towels that were supposed to be clean. I was just not a cleanly visitor friendly place to be, and it’s in the bad part of town, cops follow you in and out.

Towels only from 11 to 2. They don't supply any made service. No toiletries or sheets after first night.

Towels are only from 11 to 2 because that is when we have laundry staff to be able to keep up with the laundry. Maid service in upon request only. Toiletries can be received from the front desk and are upon request. Sheets are a part of the maid service.

A cheap but not first class stay
The coffee maker did not work. Outside vending machines did not work. The lobby was less than desirable. Although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room, it definitely was smoked in. Unfortunately, I had a barking dog next-door as well. A hole was punched in the bathroom door. However, on the plus side, everything was clean and tidy. And the price is certainly fine.

When we checked into the motel we noted police there, who stayed for well over an hour—something that did not inspire confidence and a feeling of safety. The property had a rundown appearance in a neighborhood that looked run down.

Friendly staff. Run down rooms.
Staff was nice. This inn was very dirty and the rooms were extremely run down. There was hair on the counter and in the bath and the shower did not drain well. There were crumbs under the sheets, what looked like yogurt stains on the floor, the room smelled of wet dog and the stairwell smelled strongly of cigarette. The rooms were extremely outdated.

I would not recommend staying here. I felt unsafe due to the condition of the property as well as people around the property. I saw some bugs on the bed cover as well...I would have left but there were no other hotels available and I needed a place to take a break from driving. I would not stay again.

We do appreciate the feedback we will make sure that the issues that you had are addressed. This is not acceptable at all, and we really apologize. As for safety we have 24-hour surveillance on property as well as staff that monitor the property 24 hours a day.

The lady that checked me in gets 5 stars but this hotel is a dump. I checked in at 11:30pm and a bum was sleeping in the lobby. The room was dirty, and the place was last remodeled in 1940 when it was built. The transients that love there were out walking a half a dozen dogs when i got there. Then they were moving stuff around all night long. I wouldn’t stay there again if they paid me. I was amazed that my vehicle and the stuff in it was still there in the morning.

HORRIBLE STAY!!!! 10/10 would never recommend this place to ANYONE!!!! Rude and snotty staff. Disgusting rooms they have “strict” rules for not smoking yet the rooms smell like a freaking ashtray! Dirty bathroom and microwave. This was truly the absolutely worst stay of my life!!!
