Relaxing Traditional Pub
Amazing views. Lovely pub with log burner. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower needed a bit more power. Evening meal and breakfast were delicious and very reasonable.

Having driven for 4 hours, in arrival I got a friendly greeting and was shown to my room. I had a couple of drinks in the bar where the fire was lively and warm. Staff were friendly and the room comfortable and well furnished

An excellent stay.
A very enjoyable stay. Good sized room, nice breakfasts and a good selection of evening meals. Plenty of car parking available as well.

Comfortable two night stay.
Very comfortable and clean room, attractive decor, super bed. Quiet, as we were not facing the main road. Excellent and very reasonable pub grub type food. Cooked breakfast very good but disappointed no fresh fruit was available. Business like service. Great centre for walking breaks in gorgeous countryside.

People were welcoming, but facilities were not luxury as stated. Toilet in ensuite not great, blocked very easily. Room not cleaned or coffee/tea replenished during my stay. Cooked breakfast was good but choices very limited if you didn’t want cooked.

Great value accommodation
Lovely weekend at The Jug and Glass Inn with friends. Everyone so friendly and welcoming. Comfortable room and the breakfast set us up for the day. Good quality evening meal. Great value for money and would certainly stay again.

Fantastic B&B, I stayed in room 6 which had a view of fields, the room was lovely and clean, the staff were very helpful and the food was fabulous. Only fault (very small one) was the shower head needed replacing, it still worked but was slightly broken.

Lovely cosy inn with great views over the Dales. Comfortable clean room, food quality and service excellent. Fabulous breakfast loved the locally sourced bacon. Although situated on the A615 rooms well sound proofed you wouldn’t know it was there! Same applies to the dining room and bar. Spacious garden to sit out in and lose yourself with the view. Great hosts wouldn’t hesitate staying again!

The Jug and Glass was great, we enjoyed our 2 night stay very much. The food is good and the owners are very pleasent and helpful. The room had everything you needed, spotlessly clean and to say it was a Doggy guest room too, you couldnt tell , no smells or pet hair. We had a nice room and could park our vintage car right outside the window, which was great for peace of mind overnight. We havent any complaints as such, just personal prefs which mean nothing really but we found the bed a bit hard and the air con in the bathroom is really noisy. Overall an excellent place to stay with your Dogs.

Special weekend treat...
It was a special weekend treat for my wife and I. We had a lovely stay, the room was perfect and it was nice and warm. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty and well presented. Plenty of choice evening meals. Soup was lovely. Portion size were all good too.

Best Seat in the Peak District
Superb pub accommodation on main road and easy to find. Good on-site free parking and a really excellent room with comforts and extras we didn’t really expect except for an expensive large hotel. Sunday evening menu was really good with lovely food choice and quality fare. First class ales as well. Friendly service in the restaurant and bar which made for a good evening. The breakfast is tremendous, make sure you have an appetite. The pub was busy even on a Sunday evening but no noise is carried through to the rooms which is great. TV/DVD player with library of titles as well. Well done all the staff and owners. We will return when next in the High Peak.

Little gem!
From the moment we arrived, had a warm welcome and shown to a lovely room(1) with a king size bed. This room was spotlessly clean and attention paid to every detail. Lovely selection of teas, coffees, biscuits etc and really nice toiletries. Good quality bed linen and towels. Stayed in for an excellent home cooked meal. Certainly a place to recommend.

Good base for Peak District
Good location for exploring Peak District. Friendly and comfortable. Rooms not serviced during stay (4 nights) which was surprising. Would have liked some fruit option for breakfast and evening menu didn't change (no specials) though food was good. Overall happy with choice.
