An exemplary stay. Service was all you could ask for in a b&b, the breakfasts all used local ingredients, and the range of options available should cater for most tastes. The owners were accommodating and helpful, and the property was spotless and up-to-date. Bear in mind that it is a refurbishment of an older property, so there inevitably have to be compromises in making some provisions that travellers now expect - for instance, I found the en-suite a bit small, but then again I'm a big chap and so provide a severe test!
Only problem was parking, but that's an issue with Bude generally. On-street parking was available outside the property, free between 6pm and 9am, and then for two hours outside those times, with a restriction on early return. However, the golf club have created a public car park across the road and about 100 metres away, which is chargeable at a rate of 50p per hour - far better value for money than the council-run car parks that Bude has plenty of, but not in the right places for this property. (Note that it is, at time of writing - June 2019 - a brand new facility and so does not appear on Google Street View.)
