All staff very friendly, helpful and professional. The guest house is very close and in walking distance 5-10 mins of Sumerleaze and Crooklets beaches with lots to explore and fantastic scenery to see.

Excellent Guest House
Excellent guest house with lovely owners that are friendly and helpful. Brilliant breakfast and comfortable rooms, however on hot nights air conditioning would be welcomed but didn’t detract from an excellent stay. Ideally situated for pubs and restaurants with a nice walk to Crooklets Beach. Bude is an excellent coastal town to visit with a great friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely stay!!!
I have just had a lovely 2 night stay at Sunrise Guest House. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, the deco is nice and fresh and the breakfast was delicious with excellent choices! Kara was a welcoming host, very friendly but in no way intrusive. The location is perfect barely minutes walk to the town and only a few minutes away from the beautiful beach. Bude it’s self is a great location to explore this part of the coast with easy access to main roads! Just be mindful that it’s only has street parking but it wasn’t a problem for us, we always found we could make use of the parking times. We would without doubt stay there again and would be completely happy to recommend it. Thank you for a wonderful stay! 😊

All areas were extremely clean and tidy. The owner, Kara, was lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely too (cooked by her husband I believe). Room was spotless and well equipped.

Wonderful location at a reasonable price.
I have visited Bude before but this was the first time I stayed in the town itself and I was not disappointed. The hosts were friendly and a mine of local information to make my stay a success. The room was spotless and choice of breakfasts was amazing and all at a very reasonable price. Recommended.

The breakfast service was great. Lovely food and good service. My room wasn't ideal .a single room in the top floor with a bath in the bedroom. You cannot use the shower attachment without soaking the bedroom. Room very noisy because each time any water was drawn in other rooms , the noise travelled through this bedroom. No house keeping on second day provided either. So its a mixed review and the owner was very welcoming.

An exemplary stay. Service was all you could ask for in a b&b, the breakfasts all used local ingredients, and the range of options available should cater for most tastes. The owners were accommodating and helpful, and the property was spotless and up-to-date. Bear in mind that it is a refurbishment of an older property, so there inevitably have to be compromises in making some provisions that travellers now expect - for instance, I found the en-suite a bit small, but then again I'm a big chap and so provide a severe test! Only problem was parking, but that's an issue with Bude generally. On-street parking was available outside the property, free between 6pm and 9am, and then for two hours outside those times, with a restriction on early return. However, the golf club have created a public car park across the road and about 100 metres away, which is chargeable at a rate of 50p per hour - far better value for money than the council-run car parks that Bude has plenty of, but not in the right places for this property. (Note that it is, at time of writing - June 2019 - a brand new facility and so does not appear on Google Street View.)

Excellent and reasonably priced place to stay!
I can recommend Sunrise Guest House without hesitation. Perfectly clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated to a high standard with spot on attention to detail. Great breakfasts with attentive, friendly help and advice from the lovely owners. Very good location in the centre of Bude overlooking the Golf Club and well placed for pubs, restaurants, attractions and walks.

Liked the courtesy tray, willingly replenished - didn't have to eke out what was there and had a mug, not a stupidly small cup. Very friendly and helpful. Also, found the radio easily on the TV. Nothing not to like. PS I come from Salisbury, not London.
