Sehr gute Service, viele Antiquitäten und Kunst
Abholung vom Flughafen Bangkok war inbegriffen, jedoch wurden wir nicht erwartet, sondern mussten erst mehrere Bereiche mit Abholern/Taxis ablaufen bis wir schliesslich ein kleines Schild vom Ammata Lanta Resort fanden, danach kam unser Abholer in ca. 10min. Frühstück war elegant mit individueller und aufmerksamer Bedienung, sehr gute Speise- und Getränkeauswahl. Das grosse Schlafzimmer in unserer Villa (Nr. 16) war eher dunkel, da es keine Fenster hatte und die Beleuchtung nicht sonderlich hell ist. Die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer war defekt (nur Fan, keine Kühlung), daher haben wir die Klimaanlage in den Nachbarräumen benutzt und die Tür zum Schlafzimmer offen gelassen. Badezimmer ist sehr gross, mit grosser Dusche, eher kleiner Badewanne, Waschbecken und Toilette, die offenbar für sehr kleine Personen/Kinder ausgelegt war, da sie nur ca. 30cm hoch ist. Die Hotellobby und das Hauptgebäude sind mit vielen Antiquitäten und Kunstwerken geschmückt, sehr guter Empfang und zuvorkommender Service. Durch die direkte Nachbarschaft zum Flughafen kann man Flugzeuge gut beobachten, allerdings gibt es auch Fluglärm.

Ein bisschen abgewohnter Luxus zu nah am Airport
Wenn man auf Kerker- oder Bunkeratmosphäre steht und gerne Flugzeuge beobachtet, vor allem dem Lärm von startenden und landenden Flugzeugen gerne lauscht ( alle paar Sekunden), dann ist man hier richtig. Dachterasse mit privatem Jacuzzi wegen Lärm und Moskitos praktisch nicht nutzbar, Schlafzimmer hat den Charme eines Luftschutzbunkers, bei später Anreise kurz nach 22 Uhr gabs nichts mehr zu Essen, kein Restaurant in der Nähe. Fazit : Urlaub und Erholung ist hier nicht möglich, maximal ein kurzer Aufenthalt als overnight wegen der Flughafennähe, alledings ohne Ruhe zum Schlafen.

The service and pool area at this hotel are great. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us, but the room was very dark with no plugs for phones near the bed, and while looking for outlets it was obvious that the place was not super clean.

Amazing and weird at the same time! This was our 4th location in Thailand and it was chosen because it's close to the airport, which it is, and offers airport shuttle service. But our experience left a bit to be desired... it feels a bit like a hoarders' resort, a bit cluttered when looking at all the antiques but the villa was GREAT! Very spacious and the bedroom/pagoda was incredible!! The food was very hit and miss, our airport transfers were total opposites... pick-up was damn near disastrous while drop off went smoothly. Some might be put off by the airport and freeway noise but it had NO impact on our rest... slept wonderfully! And earplugs are provided in case you need them (we didn't). Wonderful little private pool, private yard, and great lakeside view! The swans are lovely... although noisy (we didn't mind them).

This was undoubtedly the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. To make matters worse it was our honeymoon and coincidentally the last night of our trip which only made the situation that much horrible. The hotel in itself is completely dated and in need of a remodel stat. That was our first impression, but we decided to look past that and enjoy our stay. So, we decided to try a massage since it was our last night and it was miserable! For starters you could hear not only the planes taking off over us like every 2 mins, but you could also here all the outside traffic. My wife couldn’t relax! On top of that the massage therapists were a poor excuse of a massage therapist. The lack of effort was unbearable. We had scheduled a 90 min and within 5 mins told them to knock it down to 60. The icing on the cake was the 2 hours of sleep we got that night. Every 10-15 mins planes would take off and you could hear them just as clear as if you were on the runway yourself. We even tried using the ear plugs and it still sounded as if someone was about to crash into our room. We finally got shut eye at 2:30 am and had to wake up at 4:30 am for our 27 hour flight back to US. What a great way to end our honeymoon huh? I think not. Reconsider this hotel please. I completely understand that the hotel is right next to the airport but that shouldn’t matter. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels right next to airports and have been able to have a good nights sleep.

Bonne surprise ! original, proche de l'aéroport.
Séjour d'une nuit en villa simple avant un départ pour Paris le lendemain. Les transferts (15 minutes) depuis et vers l'aéroport ont été organisés par l'hôtel qui a pris contact dés la réservation effectuée sur Hotels.com. Le complexe compte 27 villas individuelles, piscine et restaurant. Trés bon accueil avec serviette fraîche et boisson. On nous a proposé l'organisation d'une excursion en ville bien que nous ne restions qu'une nuit. La villa (simple) est assez incroyable, tout comme le complexe en lui même, original, créé par un homme d'affaires et collectionneur qui y expose ses antiquités et oeuvres d'art. On aime ou pas, moi j'ai trouvé ça génial. Le lit est trés grand et confortable. Terrasse qui donne sur les pistes (pour la moitié des villas) et permet d'observer les atterrissages pour les fans d'avions. Bien sûr ça fait du bruit, mais dans la villa, on entend moins. Des bouchons en mousse étaient à disposition sur la table de chevet pour ceux qui ont un sommeil léger (je n'en ai pas eu besoin). Restaurant en bord de piscine pour le dîner et le petit déjeuner. Du choix et de bonne qualité, prix en rapport avec le standing de l'hôtel. Le personnel était trés accueillant et sympathique. Je voulais tester cet hôtel proche de l'aéroport, je n'hésiterai pas à y retourner, et peut-être même pour plusieurs nuits pour en profiter un peu.

Beautiful place. Great employees!
This resort is close to airport and a bit pricey. We stayed here because of the uniqueness of the place. I probably would not stay again but do not regret my choice to stay here this one time. It was very clean and has the nicest employees i have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy with their service. The breakfast bar was plentiful with a good selection of Thai/American food. Lunch however was very expensive. $45 usd for two hamburgers with fries. Went without dinner to save money. The pools are very clean and serene with a small waterfall that drowns out the noise of the airport. It is not close to anything so unless you want to take a taxi ride 45 minutes away then you are pretty much stuck but it is a nice place to recover from jetlag before heading out on your Thai Adventure. My daughter absolutely loved the comfort of the bedding and I loved the art and the kindness of the employees. We are ashamed that we did not research what Thai money is worth until after we left the resort. We sadly tipped the lovely waiters and waitresses 20 bht which equals out to 63 U.S cents. Feeling very ashamed!

值得一住，但較多昆蟲
今次在離開曼谷前入住了一晚。渡假村比較隔涉，不過他們提供免費專車接送，預約後，會再有員工EMAIL接送時間及地方，非常方便。 由於地點接近機場，只需約10分鐘車程便到達。一到埗在登記後，有約10分鐘的肩頸按摩附送，的確有點驚喜。 員工充滿笑容及親切，很多時會主動提供協助，就連我們BOOK了去SPA或餐廳，路程其實不遠，他們也會主動駕車接送，讓人感到很窩心及放鬆。房間設計亦是一賣點，很有特色及很多影相位，不過可能太大的關係，房間燈光顯得較不足。渡假村內有餐廳、泳池及SPA服務。餐廳很美味，予人用心的感覺，而且我見有泰菜班，不過我就沒有參加。 有些美中不足，就是渡假村有很多蚊及昆蟲。洗澡期間發現浴室有大蜘蛛，而打開床舖亦發現有蚊滋屍體，而且弄走後很快又會見到，可能始終是郊區地方，要帶備蚊怕水。 而且由於地點不就腳的關係，多數會留在渡假村內，但只有泳池及SPA，似乎沒有太多活動選擇，如果有多點設施會更好。 不過整體而言，也是一個很特別的經驗，值得一試。

Too close from the airport runway
First night in Thailand just next to the airport, about 15 minutes. Some rooms have a view on the lake and others on the airport runway and that was our case. Since the noise insulation is limited it was really noisy inside and a lot more on the terrasse were you could almost touch the airplanes landing. The room was big but dark, since there was almost no windows. The people at the front desk were very kind and helpful even if their English was not so good. The breakfast was ok. Overall the room was ok but the location was too noisy.

Svakt at det ikke var strøm eller vann da jeg skulle reise. Det betød at jeg ikke fikk dusjet eller stelt meg før hjemreise. En reise hvor jeg var våken ca 24 timer. Det var godt å dusje da jeg kom hjem! Merkelig at ikke resepsjonen var opptatt av dette ved avreise. Strømmen var borte over hele hotellet og mere til.

Enestående resort klods op ad lufthavnen.
Fedt hotel i indonesisk /gammel thai stil. Har taget 12 år at bygge og er yderst speciel. Det er jo en lejlighed, man får, og der er i alt 27 styk - så derfor føles det som om, at den lækre pool er privat, da der er ganske få gæster. Mange bruger nok hotellet til en sidste overnatning inden hjemturen, da lufthavnen ligger lige overfor, og man har total fedt udsyn ud over hele start-/landingsbanen, så optimalt for flyspottere. Store maskiner er kun 200m fra dig. Morgenmadsudvalget er skuffende - men nok qua de få gæster, men stadig er det da fint nok. Deres gym er ikke meget værd - kun få ting der. Der er free shuttle til og fra lufthavnen - også et plus. Oplvelesen er helt bestemt at gå rundt på det store fine resort, som nok ikke findes magen til andre steder og så spise en dinner på restauranten ved siden af. God mad. Men et ubeskriveligt flot view venter en. Vi tager gerne de sidste to dage på en ferie som ren afslapning på hotellet igen. Der er en 7eleven ved siden af resortet, men ellers skal man bare tage en taxa til shopping area tæt på. Det koster jo ingenting der. Der er intet møntet på børn på resortet, så de må affinde sig med poolen.

Awesome stay!
Amazing stay. This resort is very very close to Suvarnabhumi Intl. Airport, literally 5 minutes ride. The resort provides free shuttle service to airport. The resort has its own restaurant that has fairly good choice of food items including Western food like burgers and fries. My villa had its own pool which is a small pool but good enough to sit and relax in it. There is a mall close by (Paseo mall). You can take a taxi to the mall that has 24 hrs. McDonald's. There is many other shops and restaurants in that mall. There is also a 7-11 store at walking distance from this resort. Overall my stay was excellent, and I'll stay here again.

Gorgeous property!
Got this room for my daughter for quick stay before catching a flight out. Hotel staff were so helpful and attentive! Even with a lady in the restaurant that was being rude to a staff member for no good reason they were still good. The hotel itself could not have been more beautiful. She had a great experience.
