Tolle Lage, aber die ganze Nacht ist es sehr laut. Uns war es wichtig direkt in der Stadt zu sein und dafür ist es top! Fenster sind gut isoliert und Zimmer sind groß und sehr schön möbliert. Großartiges Frühstück und das Restaurant ist sehr gut, falls der richtige Koch da ist. Wir haben beide Erfahrungen gemacht.

Very nice hotel, great staff and perfect location
The hotel is beautiful and has a great location. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The only issue is that the rooms (which itselfs are beautiful) in the first and second flor has no window (there is just a narrow gap at the top). If we would have known this while booking I would have booked a superior-room in the higher floors. But anyway, I would recommend this hotel and will book it again - but will make supre next time to book a superior room.

Not Friendly, room was dark, Breakfast was absolutely terrible I should have listened to other reviews plus they charge extra for a cappuccino even though I prepaid breakfast. This is definitely not a 5 star hotel more like a 3 star. Also I wanted to park my own car and asked where a self parking garage was and they said I had to park with them and let valet take it. And of course charged me for it. Stay somewhere else.

Lovely hotel, room was very comfortable. If you’re on the 8th floor there are a few stairs to walk up for those where it matters. The staff didn’t mention the Expedia credit that I had until I brought it up. Even at check out, I had to remind them to use the credit. Thus, maybe it can be noted better on their system.

Fantastic service. I had an issue with noise levels in my room for the 1st night of my stay. Staff were very attentive and accommodating when I requested a room change, if one was available. We were not only moved to a new room but unexpectedly given an upgrade to a fabulous suite. It really made our stay perfect. The electricity was off for 4 hours. We tried to get in our rooms at 6:30pm. We got in our room at 10:30pm. We had to climb 7 flights of stairs. They paid for our Uber Meal. But not worth the trouble. It ruined our one night in Auckland.

Really didn’t enjoy this hotel. The customer service was terrible and despite our room being available we’re not able to check in unless we paid $80 early check in fee. Rooms were strange…small, in a strange configuration and lacking some basic facilities you would expect from a 5 star hotel like a work desk. Area is quite dodgy at night…stay somewhere else.

There is no sound insulation so you hear EVERYTHING outside and inside the building (hence the earplugs you provide). The area where 601is located smelled like cheap toilet spray, was quite off putting. In general the overall experience was disappointing and lacking for a 5 star hotel. We have definitely experienced far better at a much lower star rated hotel. In saying that the staff are great.

The hotel is beautiful and rooms are very clean but our tv didn’t work and the noise was so bad! If staying on a weekend be prepared for it being very noisy with bars and clubs outside. They did upgrade us for our tv not working and money off but the noise is definitely an issue.

A lovely hotel for both glamour and comfort! I had come in with my back injured from a bad Uber experience in Melbourne where I was left at the wrong terminal and had to drag a heavy bag but the hotel was a jewel in the city center ! You can’t expect to be in the heart of the city then complain about the city noises below! And yes there is a banging bar right next door but earplugs are provided and in the heart of the city you must expect to feel the beat ! Everything I could want or need was just a few steps away so the convenience and the quality of this hotel is top notch ! It’s was visually appealing and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the late arrival reception was ! Although my last few days in New Zealand were limited due to my injury I highly recommend this hotel as a shining star in the city center , beauty , comfort , and character , a hotel with a story to tell and right in the middle of where you want to be! If you are a light sleeper sleep out in the country , but with a city location come city noises ! And I was not bothered at all by the sounds from below! Elegant, beautiful, staff is formal but friendly I could not have asked for or gotten a better place to rest and recover or to explore the city if I were able! I recommend it highly and hope to return someday
