First the positives - the bach is only a 3 minute walk to the beach; you can take your dog; the queen bed is comfortable and warm; great fridge.
The negatives - the kitchen bench is WAY past its best and is unhygienic; there are no curtains in the living area (exposed to street and street light); no radio, TV, magazines, books or internet (the modem had the wrong plug so could not be plugged into the wall and no password or anything); no bedside tables or lights in main bedroom so no reading in bed, the single bed creaked VERY loudly every time you moved and the bedside light in here was broken; there was a heated towel rail but it didn't work; no table inside or anywhere to sit for a meal (there was a table outside); outside lights didn't work so dangerous going out at night; only a 2-seater couch to sit on and 2 kitchen chairs; exposed pipes in the shower; grounds very unkempt and concrete path uneven, again dangerous at night. I dropped my glasses down beside the bed and they came up with cobwebs and fluff attached. To top it off the mower-man appeared at 7.30am and started up the weed eater outside the bedroom.
We think that this property is way overpriced but even at half the price we wouldn't be going back.
We would suggest Bookabach be a little more careful in what they list. The property is old which is not a problem if it is clean and cheerful. This wasn't.
